Actually... the Math portion of the GRE is pretty similar to SAT math... not much more advanced than Algebra and Trig... so it's not so bad.
It's the GRE English section that's killer... tons of esoteric vocabulary used for analogies and the like. Seriously, get a GRE study guide just for the vocab (because it's one thing to have a barely there grip on the vocab... but then to need to apply that vocab to an obscure analogy... a bit more difficult). Not the fun stuff about English like grammar and getting information from reading.
Yeah, I know. I mean, my friends make fun of me all the time for dropping obscure words into my sentences, but I know that I'll be facing a challenge with the GRE. From what I hear, I think they have their own special dictionary. Not sure what we can't have words like "banana," "onion," and "Mitchum."
