Full Version: Bret Hart talks WWE Return
USA Network Forums > USA Network Originals > WWE Raw

- Bret Hart told the UK Sun that he wanted to prove something when he appeared on the Vince McMahon Appreciation Night" edition of Raw. "I don’t know why I did it. I guess I wanted to show that I could bury the hatchet, that I could have some fun with it. I think at the time I was trying to get permission from the WWE for some pictures to use in my book. I thought that if I didn’t do it or if I don’t show that I’m not going to cooperate I might not get them. I thought I could have some fun with it and not take it too seriously."

Hart also stated that he'll at least listen if WWE calls about a possible return. "I always tell them they can always ask. There’s no harm in asking. If I thought I could have fun with it, my whole attitude is ‘can I have fun with it’, you know? I was in a good place, I’ve got my life here in Hawaii. I was at the gym, and I thought filming it would do the gym good. The scary thing is that I didn’t realize it was going to be perceived that I was back in wrestling."

Wow, that's great news. To at least know that time has heeled enough wounds that Bret will listen to pitches, and remain open to returning to the WWE.

Really good read. Bret seems to have really moved on and to be in a great place in life right now.

Finally we hear that he's dealt with alot of the bad blood. Now only if most of his fans could do that. I'd like to see Bret come back once in a while to RAW.

You know, it'd be very beneficial if Bret were to come back in some way, and forgive Vince & Shawn.

Maybe that way, millions of his fans could move the f**k on, who are still trapped in Montreal 1997.

To be honest, I don't think he'll ever really forgive them. The only reason I see him coming back is just so he can be involved with pro wrestling again. I'd love to see him again as at least a manager (since he probably won't be wrestling again).

I wouldnt mind seeing him come back sometimes to,maybe something involving a New Hart Foundation

Yeah, I don't see that happening either. Wishful thinking.

In reality, Bret is way too egotisical, even still, to do that.
