-- Reader Andrew Hickey sent this in .. Morgan Spurlock was a guest on Conan O' Brien tonight talking about his documentary on Osama Bin Laden. He mentioned in the interview that while visiting the middle east he noticed one consistent theme among the many countries like Pakistan, Israel and Afghanistan...they all love WWE. He said all the countries he visited knew about WWE, loved it and all thought it was a legit sport. When Spurlock said to some fans that it is fixed, they mostly replied with "maybe it is, we will never know" and one guy he told this to said it may be fixed sometimes, but definitely not when a championship is on the line. Could WWE be the answer to peace in the middle east?

The WWE stands for everything that Islamic Terrorists are against. So to answer your question no. Even though it was a joke. Its good that the average middle eastern person enjoys an American product but if anything the Terrorists will use this to show another one of the Wests "hedonistic" ways.

The fact they beleive real is almost harmful in away. I mean you don't want kids performing RKO's, pedigrees, and spinebusters on each other over there.

Hell I've seen kids in America doing those things on concrete. Stupid i know, but they, for the most part ended up not getting to seriously hurt.

Including people on this board.

Yeah, when I was 13-14 years old, I knew how to correct execute moves without hurting people... but unfortunately didn't think of myself. Tons of Tombstones & Stunners directly on concrete have had a direct impact on recurring knee & back problems for myself in recent years.

Kind of ironic. I purposely learned the moves so I WOULDN'T hurt anyone, even at that age.... and absorbed the punishment myself, totally forgetting about my consequences.

Go figure.
