Okay, somehow I got into the "shop" portion of the USA web site. So, when do we
Burn Notice fans get some merchandise to purchase? Hats, t-shirts... whatnot?
And I bet we could come up with some
very interesting items to sell!

(I know a lot of them ended up on the "What are they saying?" thread...)

The sunglasses of justice would be nice. Maybe a model car of the Charger with tiny figures of Mike, Fi, and Sam. Or Mom with a cancer stick in her mouth.
I initially wrote the British version of cigarette (spelled F-A-G) but the message board's censor software replaced with "very attractive and successful homosexual". LOL!!!

Saw that post after it was censored, but before you edited and thought WTH?????
Too funny!!!! An action figure set of Michael Westen would be lovely...shirtless Michael with the towel, Armani suit Michael, T-shirt and jeans Michael, Pyscho-Michael, et. al, complete, of course, with removable sunglasses...and yes, love the model Charger idea with miniature Michael, Sam, & Fi inside!

The action figures are a wonderful idea, I'd want the whole set. Many great ideas have been mentioned here and I'd spend my money on any of them.

*bumping* this thread for being long overdue
Burn Notice has been one of USA's highest rated shows going on 2 seasons now, and still their
NBC Universal USA Network store only has 2 items for sale - the book & the Dvd (not that I don't love the book & Dvd, I do & have purchased many copies for myself & friends & family

)
But what's a show have to do to be worthy of some merchandise 'round here?
I mean, Burn Notice is like a marketing companies dream! All the cool beach swag, spy gadgets, the list goes on... at least some official t-shirts or snow globe would be nice (like the other USA shows have). Such a bummer that there isn't more -- I'd be happy & proud to show my BN love! They already have stuff as contest prizes & such, I don't see why we shouldn't be able to buy them as gifts.
I sent in my suggestions to the store's
Product Suggestion Page & ya'll should too!
(geez-they don't even have BN listed on the feedback list)
the more BN, the better, I say!

I could see a chick's t-shirt with the saying, "Nothing turns a woman on more than when something goes BOOM!" It would be a serious moneymaker.

And the gag action figures! (From the "what are they saying?" thread??). Seriously, Archie McPhee has zillions of silly action figures, why not "trigger happy ex-girlfriend", "I used to be a spy", and "I'm between sugar-mommies"?
Or a Jackson "inhaler": push it and it plays our favorite BN quotes: "Hey, Smooth is smooth, baby!" "I'll see what I can do" "I've got a rifle in the trunk of my car" "somebody needs your help, Michael"
Honestly, we're going to have to do "unauthorized" theme stuff if they don't get off the stick and on the ball here!

Sec, lemme see if I can track ‘em down…
Okay, here we go. Hope it's alright that I post the links here, Natasha - they're just so awesome.
Burn Notice Action Figures for Michael, Sam, Fiona, and The Charger [this was just truly inspired. each action figure comes with its own accessories - so Michael's accessories for instance, are a gun, the "sunglasses of justice," and duct tape

I'm still working on the cards for the
BN Clue game. In fact, I've got those files stored in the MyPictures directory on my computer at work. My screensaver pulls from that folder and throws up random pictures on my screen. Once I was talking to one of the other
BN fans in the office when my screensaver kicked off and up popped the
BN Clue pictures.
"What is that?" he asked.
"Top secret... simply 'need to know'," I answered while pressing my shift key to get the photos off the screen.
(Funny thing about work: I go to all the bother of getting up and getting dressed in the morning to get here. And, on top of all that, they expect me to do something productive for the company while I'm here... Go figure!

Not that I want to take away any money from TPTB, but if you would like to make your own shirt, go here:
http://www.spreadshirt.com/us/US/T-Shirt/Spreadshirt-1342/ I have some friends who use it who are part of other fandoms who made their own stuff when TPTB came up empty. You can put whatever saying you want on one, then choose the color, t-shirt type, font, anyhow you want to make it. I'm thinking of making my own "A spy is just. . ." you all know the rest!

Some great ideas already mentioned. Coincidentally, I had been searching the net for just a gray T or hoodie with the BN logo on it...even checked Cafe Press, although I'd much rather go with a high quality original from an officially licensed USA store (hint hint). Love the girl and guy themed show quotes for shirts too...and coffee mugs always go over well. Good gift ideas.

it works like this, at universal studios, they have merchandise stores for every movie ride. they have almost every thing from the show, available for purchase. every thing from sunglasses, clothing, posters, action figures, stationary, hats, etc.... not real designer stuff, but a good replica. this is what we need from the usa network. there are thousands of BN fans who would spend a lot of money. just being able to buy a pair of replica Oliver peoples 55 victory sunglasses, or Fi's hip purse, or any thing from the show, would make usa lots of money. besides, if you have BN fans walking around wearing a BN baseball hat or t-shirt, that's just free advertising for the show!
