John Cena...you may love him; you may hate him. You should still read this and give everyone your personal opinion. When Cena had that one year + longer championship reign, he had at least 80% of the fans behind him. When him and Randy got into the feud, it seemed as if it was 50/50. Half for Orton, half for Cena. That's when I thought the fans were starting to like Orton. Well, when Cena got injured and Randy took the WWE Championship, why were the boo's coming back into play? I have no clue, but I did know that Randy didn't deserve the title. That's just my opinion though. But Triple H on the other hand, I like him and I thought it would be nice to see him as Champ. Well at the 2008 Royal Rumble, Triple H's chances for that title half way disappeared as reigning WWE Champion John Cena made a suprising appearance and won the Royal Rumble. Were the fans happy? Yes; more than happy.

Ever since Cena has stepped back into the championship running, it seems as if the boo's have returned, which is fine with me. One thing that I hate though is that at the 2008 Hall of Fame Ceremony, Cena got disrespected big time. You may love/hate him, but everyone should respect him, especially at an event like that. As soon as his music started playing, boo's were flying throughout the arena. I understand on Raw why you may boo and stuff, but why at the HOF Ceremony? That's just bullcrap. One day, he will be standing up there being inducted into the HOF and everyone will respect him then. All he did was get up there and talk about how he appreciated the legends in the business from previous times up to now. I just don't get it. Some opinions would be nice so leave them, please. :]

i think his return was amazing and i hate those fans that screa cena sucks

Cena's problem is his in-ring ability seriously lacks. That's why so many fans boo him, despite him being a babyface.

I respect John for being professional, working hard, and being good with fans, but in ring... well... he sux.

John seriously needs work in specialty matches. If he could become a specialist, and be a good cage match guy, or ladder match, or hardcore match kind of guy, he could have a gimmick that would gain him more legit fans (not just kids), and more respect among fans.

I get what you're saying, completely because Cena would be better if he had better ring attire. I think they should take him out of the championship running for awhile and just let him do some special matches to boost his fan percentage because it just continues getting lower and it's at the point where only kids and a few women like him and the women mostly like him for looks. You're right on all of that, but at HOF Ceremony, he did deserve more respect...in my opinion. Thanks for replying though. :]

I can fully understand why he would get booed when he's in the ring, but I don't think they should boo him at a HOF ceremony. Even if people hate him for his entire career, when his day comes (and WWE will make sure it does) people should still respect him enough to not boo him. The HOF ceremony is suppose to be a fun night for everyone and I don't think giving a guy heat on that night was the right choice of action.

You know im not a fan of john except when he was a heel, but he is nice and is a stand up guy and seems cool to hang out with, when it comes to skills there will never be perfect wrestlers anymore...either you have a guy thats great and has amazing talent but really really sucks on the mic or you have a guy like Cena who is great and funny on the mic but does the same stuff everytime when wrestling.I do think that triple threat match was good!I do think the fans that booed him should be ashamed because he was not in character and alot of fans in the crowds are just drunk jerks! I really think for now on that the HOF should be invitation only, where fans sign up to go and have to dress casual and do not boo wrestlers there! And also i think alot of people are still mad and in denial that Rock and Stone Cold are not coming back and they cant except the fact that wrestling in now evolving to a new generation with guys like CENA,ORTON,MVP,KENNEDY,PUNK,JOHN MORRISON,SHELTON BENJAMIN,and Guys like EDGE,MATT HARDY,JEFF HARDY,And JBL who were not big stars back in the Attitude era due to Rock and Austin being on top then HHH in 2000-2001...Those guys are now getting there time to shine! And also maybe alot of guys are jealous, there girlfriends are sitting beside them cheering cena and the Boyfriends get jealous

You are completely right. Cena does have practically the perfect wrestling/non-wrestling personality all around. His ring moves aren't the greatest but if you notice, they are gradually starting to get better. I say the WWE will work on getting him better moves and help him out with that because Cena can do a lot more then what he's doing now. But about the HOF, I agree. I think it should be like the CMA awards or something because nobody deserves to be boo'ed because Cena steps in that ring and puts his body on the line just like all of those Legends did at one time or still do. I just think they should have respected him more and kept their comments to themselves. This generation is based on Cena, Orton, Hardy, and others. I respect every superstar equally and I do admit that when they are on Raw, SD, or ECW that I do boo, but I would never boo at a ceremony such as the HOF one.

And you are correct about the boyfriends. I say tons of people are jealous. tongue.gif

LOL yea because as soon as you hear Cenas music the women are cheering then you just hear men booing...But me personally i never knock anyone for their skills because i respect anybody that can get in that ring and wrestle because they are putting themselves at risk for injury just to entertain us and not everybody can do that so i respect every wrestler rather their skills are excellent or not so excellent.

Yeah that had to be downright embarassing for John. The man works hard, travels the road constantly, and that's the response he gets at the HOF... that's where I kind of drew the line on the Cena hate.

Interesting. I guess i never thought ring attire would matter. It was stupid for people to give him heat at the HOF, its a place where people can celebrate the legends and have a good time. Other than special occasions such as the HOF i feel that fans should continue to boo him if thats what they do.

Slash, I think they are slightly confused as to what attire means. I just kind of assumed ring skills.

'Cause I didn't say anything about how the man dressed.

Nope, I was pointing out the ring attire as well, if that makes sense -lol- He should get out of those blue jeans. He's looking bigger in a way lmao. Sorry. tongue.gif But anyways, his ring skills need to improve majorly or else the boo's will keep coming. I'll cheer/love him no matter what so yep. :]
JOHNCENASFRANCHISE
One thing i find dumb is when people used to go onto his fanpages and give threats and act like morons hes nt the greates wresler ever lived but he does deserve respect.

I thought so too, but then they did mention his ability.

Could you explain how that affects him a little more please? And yes Cena is absolutely terrible in the ring, so boring.

I was just meaning by the way it sells and stuff and plus by the way he looks. His attire just continues getting worse. But that doesn't matter I guess. It just needs to sell better because his stuff has went down alot by the way it looks, but a lot because of the way he's being looked at now. His ring skills are awful. My fav. move is the STFU but he's not even gripping at them at all. I also like the move where he jumps off the top rope. That's probably his best in my opinion, but yeah.
