I wrote that the epi would be aired 6/8, but I believe it will be aired 6/15. I didn't know how to change the title. sorry!

So then assuming that the 6/8 episode is a Logan episode.

Anyway, what I wanted to say before was I didn't see Goren's name even mentioned in this episode at all unless I missed it. It looks like Eames is questioning everyone and no mention of Goren. Where is he? Did I miss something? Lost here. It still looks interesting but without Goren it won't be that interesting.

I just read the spoilers all the way through and doesn't it remind you of the old show Wiseguy with Sonny Steelgrave?? I LOVED that show!!! This could be cool. I think Goren is undercover. If he was turning into a dirty cop then Please Note would be pointless and isn't that supposed to air after this one?

Now, back on-topic, I'm not worried at all after reading this spoiler about Goren's ethical. Apparently he works for a drug dealer and Eames investigate this one at the same time. Then the link seems to obvious for being without reason)
And we know what happens after in Please Note ( i.e. Goren back to work and nothing unsual)
So I'm not worried just exciting

Ignore my previous post. I didn't read down far enough on the page. What the heck is he doing. The undercover is very cool but ignoring Alex, not cool. They both get "temporary" partners. I am not liking this at all but I'll just have to watch it and see. I don't want them to change Goren in any way. I like him the way he is. Blame the sickness for my rambling.

I'm sick too, and i feel the same way.

I will virtually punch him if he ignores Eames.

Maybe he's ignoring her calls because he has to. He doesn't want to blow his cover.

Lol. Yeah, should be interesting to see how she does with a 'normal' (for lack of a better word) partner. I guess we will see if the "it's too late" line was true.

We better get a G/E hug hafter all this.

How I see that :
- He is recruted during his suspension
- He discovers illegal activities of his new boss
- He find a way to communicate these informations to Eames but he needs stay discreet in order not to draw suspicions of his new boss - and then eventually ignore Eames' call

But it's just my opinion it's late here so I need go to sleep

I think Bobby's temp partner is the other supsended cop; I don't think they are doing work for the NYPD.

I hope she doesn't get used to Mike (Roche), and it would be cool if she used Goren's tactics on the suspects I doubt that would happen, but still would be cool. Don't be quick to judge Goren, even though he does seem to act like a jerk.

We had 21 pages of posts on the Untethered thread before it even aired. I think we might break that record with this one. Already 2 pages! The spoilers left me feeling anxious. But I refuse to believe Bobby will do anything wrong. And ignoring Eames calls has to be to protect her or to protect his cover (even if it is another "rogue" mission). I think this has left me as anxious as the previews for Untethered did. And we still have 2 months to go! HELP!!!!!

I am right there with you all on the edge of my seat. This is actually the first discussion of an episode I have done from spoiler to finish. I joined this forum after 'Untethered' already aired. This will be very interesting to see how I do with all this.

That sounds like a good synopsis, Daz - OR could it be that when the Chief of D's leaves the hearing room at the end of Untethered, Ross is waiting to tell Goren of an undercover mission they need him to work and this is the only way his 'cover' would work - to be on suspension? (just thinking out loud)



I don't think I've ever joined an episode discussion from spoiler to end, either cifan70 - I joined before Untethered but never jumped in.

Unless I get internet hooked up at home by June 15, I will have to plan another overnighter at my mother's like I did for Untethered. Oh wait, I'll have to work the next day! I know my Goren, cluck - I can't see VDO allowing Goren to go too far to the dark side. Goren's got a strong sense of right and wrong.

Accoding to The Reel, the "tidbits" listed are subject to change. We know during production they will revise things. So ignoring Eames could either change or just be a situation where if he answered the phone, it would blow his cover.

My take on this is that Goren innocently starts a side job that another cop who is on suspension offers him. Immediately he realizes that its an illegal enterprise, so he goes undercover (either officially or unofficially) since he is off the radar. He pretends to go along with things.

Hope this is right. I can't imagine the writers changing our beloved character into a thug. Goren is the epitomy of ethical integrity. That cannot change.

And I hope Eames' temporary new partner is a stupid slug

My guess is not only that he is working undercover, but the whole suspension was part of the plan. Maybe some people at 1pp are suspect. And I'm sure he ignores Eames call for her safety or his own.

That is a good assumption. Why didn't I think of that? I said something like that at the beginning of the thread, working undercover, but I misread it, I should have rethought myself. And I am sure he is not answering Alex's call for her safety and not to drag her into the anymore trouble like he did in 'Untethered'.
