I like a lot the character of Det. Wheeler. She brings youth, freshness, discreet but efficient culture and perspicacity to his partner Det. Logan, without doing too much.

You are right, Vault. We should show some love for Julianne. And look, Wheeler has a leather jacket, too!

I happen to like Wheeler although I must admit I've only really started watching the Logan eps since she's been his partner. The few eps I've seen with Barek she seemed almost 'cold', where Wheeler has spirit. I do think she LOOKS way too young to be a detective but I do like how she holds her own with Logan. (In Maltese Cross, she jumped right in to the fray at the firehouse!)

She has a very intense look in that secone one. I like her as Logan's partner. They seem to go well together and she is a bit spunky, like myself, so maybe thats a plus as well.
I did also like Barek...yeah, she was sometimes distant, but she was very intelligent as well and I liked the way they worked the cases.

Unfortunetely, I never really liked Wheeler that much. I think it's because of the stiff way she talks
(she kind of reminds me of Chloe from 24) Wierdly, I'm starting to like Falacci , and I used to hate her
a lot.

I really like Wheeler. IMO, she's the best partner Logan has had to date. She's calm & intelligent without being eccentric (like Barek). I like how they play up her youthful looks & she's cool with it. She has the best little sardonic grin, which she constantly gives Logan. They are very cute together, in a friendly way.

At the end of "Renewal" last season, Logan looked very sad to see Wheeler go off to Europe. He'll be happy when she returns. I think those episodes will be exciting.

In those Getty Image photos from the USA upfronts, Nicholson looks fantastic. Being a mom becomes her.

I can't wait to see how the mystery of Wheeler's father's disappearance plays out. I love the Logan/Wheeler partnership because it's closest to the classic L & O teams. I've only seen Julianne in Storm of Century and Conviction but she's becoming a favorite.

I'm sure in true CI fashion, maybe one line will be said about her returning. I hope I'm wrong. Julianne needs to eat. Man she is thin.

actually , Vault, there is a Wheeler thread but it's been long time buried.. so I have no problem with this one.

I like her very much.. I think she had a youtful maturity about her and I especially like the continuity between her and Logan.. he seems to prefer her over his other two partners.. I think that comes off well. I didn't like Barak at all.. she was distant.. not sense of humor.. very dry and boring. Fallaci was an improvement on her.. but not the same class as wheeler. Wheeler is very professional but not rigid.. after a while Fallaci's continued *butting heads* with the brass would have gotten old.. she needed a time out for disrespecting her elders..lol

Why do I see myself agreeing with you. I came in when Logan was with Falacci and she was ok but I don't care for her at all. Barek, also ok but still don't care for her. Logan and Wheeler seem to go together in my book and I really like her a lot. I guess the episode in season 6 were better to me than the episodes in season 5 and 7. Actually 7 was better than 5 but I still don't care for Falacci that much.



Maybe I need to pay more attention. I didn't see it. I think she looks fine. Are you talking about now, after she had the baby or before she had the baby?

I think we agree on most things - except that whole ship/no ship thing - when it comes to LOCI. I've only seen a few Barek eps adnd she just really came across too distant for Logan. He needs someone open and up front. I only saw one Falacci episode so I couldn't really judge her character. To me, Wheeler just seems to fit with Logan the best.

As with the three bears:

I have seen all the episodes in 5, 6 and 7 and there were some really good episodes in there, especially in season 7, not much in 5 but I just see Logan and Wheeler as more partner based than the other 2. I guess that's me.

I like Wheeler the best with Mikey, too.

I also agree that she is WAAAAAY too skinny! She needs more meat on her bones to be able to look like she really could take down and arrest the perps. She looks like a leer from a perp or a strong wind off the East River would blow her to Coney Island.... (I don't want her to look fat, just not so sickly thin.)

I think I like Wheeler the best, too. Although I am a huge Falaaci fan. I love Anabella Sciorra (sp?), and I liked Barek, but didn't love her. I love that Wheeler doesn't look like a cop. I love her freckles and that she looks like she's 10 years old. I think that makes it more fun to watch her. I loved the way she jumped into the fray in Maltese Cross. I didn't really understand what she was apologizing for, though. I thought she did her best to back Logan up and got help quickly. I keep meaning to ask this in the episode questions thread, but keep forgetting.

OK I guess this answers my question about Julienne returning, for I couldn't help noticing a recently aired, "re-edited" version of the episode "Players" in which "Megan's backstory" was missing. Usually, there aren't too many reasons why this kind of production would go through that kind of trouble. Thanks for the thread.

Someone else mentioned the edited episode. I don't understand why they would do that. Unfortunately, I think the one I have recorded is the edited version. I'll have to check.

I am glad she is coming back, but Falacci was growing on me, too bad they didn't replace Green with her on the mother ship, maybe she wasn't looking for a full time gig. I could see her and Lupo hitting the sheets, hmmm would make things hot, yes I know she is married.

OK You'll know right away whether or not it's cut, because "her" story starts at "Spire" right when "Logan" is done questioning the club owner.....can't think of the....."Flaretty".....don't know how it's spelled.....nice scene.....it's more "New York", including her "story".....

I like Wheeler, she is really cute and nice. I'm happy to see her back.

She may be so skinny because she is feeding her baby. Most of my friends lost a lot of weight after birth because their babies drank so much milk, they were skinnier than before birth.

I like Julianne the best of Logan's partners-Annabella's character had great background and potential but it just never went anywhere-
Folacci too tough for me and just could not equate character's background with the performance-
One of the best lines of CI was Logan saying he never had a partner with freckles before-
Regi.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that thinks Wheeler is best with Logan! I like Chris Noth but I could never get through an episode with Falacci, so I'm glad Wheeler is coming back so I can start watching again. Her character has more depth/layers, a kind of vulnerability, yet able to hold her own with Logan.

I have to say watching the marathon this weekend I really miss her.

This is good news. I watched some of the marathon yesterday and was thinking how I liked her, by far, the best of the three partners Logan has had.
How are the petrol prices in Europe these days? Are they increasing at the same rate as ours?

They predicting our prices in Louisiana will be over $4.00 this week, I know other places are already that high, Just saw one place desiel is $4.75 geez prices of goods are really gonna sky rocket. I think I will have my hubby fix up my bike and I will start just biking it to the store. He said he heard by end of year it will be $8.00 a gallon, I will walk before I pay that.

I loved the episode where Ross tells Wheeler to "play young" to get a retired cop to talk!!

I agree with all those saying that of the three partners Logan has had, Wheeler is the best (though ironically I have not seen too many of her episodes). Barek is alright and I don't really mind Falacci. I think the Falacci episodes are interesting because it is good to see Logan having to try and be the calm, cooler head, for once.

When Wheeler was leaving for Europe, Logan did seem like he was going to miss her. It will be interesting to see how he reacts with her return.

Maltese Cross is one of my all-time favorite episodes, and that scene is one of the reasons. I also love the "rumble" with the firemen and how Wheeler jumps right into the fray, in between calling for back-up.

Can you handle having to wait until June 15th? Especially since VDO/GOREN will be back on the 8th?

Well, its asking for a lot of self-control. But I suppose if I must be subjected to a G/E episode first, I will find a way to wait patiently until June 15th.

Huzzah! A thead for Wheeler/Julianne! I have missed Wheeler a lot! I think Wheeler complements Logan very well and they bring out the best in each other. I think Logan misses Wheeler a lot too.


I haven't been able to find any. I just found out the baby was a boy. They named him Ignatius.

Ignatius Cake? What a unique name. I'm sure he's a cutie. Is Julianne still sporting her short do? Since Wheeler's coming back from assignment, I think she would come back looking a little different.

I like her hair a little longer and curly. She is very pretty but her hair in season 6 was too severe. Oh yeah, she's a cop--severe is good.
