Huzzah! A thead for Wheeler/Julianne! I have missed Wheeler a lot! I think Wheeler complements Logan very well and they bring out the best in each other. I think Logan misses Wheeler a lot too.
I haven't been able to find any. I just found out the baby was a boy. They named him Ignatius.
I need to watch

Vault: I'm going to suggest that you change the name of this Thread to something like Megan Wheeler/Julianne Nicholson, eliminating the "show some love for" just makes the subject easier to identify.
*****
I'm also going to suggest to Admin that the newly-created "wheeler" thread be merged with this one.
Do we really need multiple threads for each character and actor? We are being overrun by minor, multiple variations of the same Threads.
I love VDO, KE, CN, etc too; but, I really don't need a separate Thread for every picture and every facet of each's personality. Our performers aren't in competition with one another; because there are 5 Threads for one (which is probably too many), doesn't mean there needs to be 5 Threads for the other.

I agree, I like Nicholson's Conviction look. But there's no reason Wheeler can't be a little glam. She has this HLOTS's Kay Howard vibe about her.

She is married in real life. I think it's in one of the epi spoiler threads that I read about Wheeler coming back from her assignment ENGAGED!!!! WOW! What is that going to do to Logan? Remember the look on his face when she said goodbye to him and the elevator doors closed. He looked so lost! I hope their not going to turn Logan into the same angsty mess of a detective that Goren has become. That would just be, well, the yucky pits!

If you study Julianne closely enough in the elevator, you can tell her long coat is hiding her "baby belly".
Mike didn't look shocked, just very sad, and very lost. Those were some mighty fine looking big puppy dog eyes on that long sad face of his.

I think that when she comes back he will smile really big, then hide it with a snarky remark. If we even see her come back. We may just see them at a crime scene like she's never been away.

Nicholson is Married, Wheeler is engaged, but will they let that survive or will Wheeler's fiancé be a killer, crook and Logan will rescue her and put him behind bars? Or will he get shot and die? Just like most shows, the main characters never live happily ever after, remember Bonanza Hoss, Adam and Little Joe, were always getting married or engaged then the woman got killed.

i think Julianne is the best partner I have seen so far for Logan and possibly the most realitic female cop on CI I have seen yet. She has a great personality on the show. She gets work done and jokes around about it at the same time. He plays a great cop. I dont know if there is a role better suited for him. They both play off eachother great. I didnt think I was going to like her at first but not only has she grown on me, but I like her better than almost any female cops in real life I know. OK, she is also better looking than most!

thank you very much for having me here. Yes I am a big fan of hers. Eames to me seems to just take even worse than a back seat to Goren. She just sort of agrees with all Vince says or he corrects her when she makes a statement. I have actually been a friend of Vince' for over 20 years. He plays a great cop as well, but; he is a great actor, and fits well into almost any role I have ever seen him play. Eames to me seem to be more of a follower than a leader, or someone who takes her own road. Nothing wrong with that. Wheeler to me seems to do her own thig and if you like it fine, if not, thats ok also. I was really hoping they were going to actually bring Julianne back to her role after having a baby, and that she was not going to fall into motherhood so much she would not want to return. I am just waiting to catch them filming on the street one day. Julianne seems really friendly from interviews I have seen her give. I have run into Vince filming on the streets before accidentaly. I really didnt think I was going to like Julianne as a cop much, but I do. I was at a pct reunion recently, and there were a few "Wheelers" there. Now if only the "real" one were there!

But seriously, how CUTE was Wheeler last night, with her crush on Jordi? I love the way she kept defending him even when it looked like he was a pedophile--and then she was right! And then at the end she was very authoritative when he was pushing his wife around and Wheeler told him, "Get your hands off your wife!" Although I was kinda hoping he would toss her in the water.

I mentioned this in another thread, but do you suppose Wheeler will ask Ross to give her away at her wedding since her father is MIA?
Actually I don't see Wheeler as the type to be "given away". I see her having a very modern wedding. Either the groom and herself walking down the aisle together, or no walking down the aisle at all. Just the two of them up there with the best man and maid of honor--very small and dignified.

It means that this thread was on the 4th page. As new threads are created, some of the older ones that don't get a lot of conversation are bumped off the first page. You will always find several Goren/VDO threads on the first page. But the ones for the other actors don't generate as much discussion and will fall off. When I find the Kathryn, Chris, Julianne, and Eric threads have fallen off, I try to bump them up once in a while. I know it's totally stupid, but I always think "What if they actually come here once in a while and they find that the threads about them are on the 4th page?" I don't want their feelings to be hurt!

Wheeler was cute with her fiance last night. And I liked her reaction when Logan thought the victim's sentence for statutory rape was too steep. She looked at him kind of incredulously and said, "For screwing a 15 year old?" My thoughts exactly Wheeler! I've liked Wheeler a lot from her first appearance. Logan's distrust of her youth was always a pleasure, and an accent that helped it work so well was Nicholson's generously freckled face. Without those dapples I doubt she would be quite as endearing or effective.
I keep coming across glamour shots of Nicholson in which her complexion has been smoothed into a disturbingly uniform tone. Or maybe the freckles just disappear when her face is shrunken to the size of a checker?
It seemed at the time that we were given the impression there was something interesting but undisclosed about Wheeler's predecessor. Maybe they didn't want us to draw a comparison to Goren too quickly ("Let's let them get to know her, and maybe like her, before we tell them what makes her special.") but they waited too long didn't make her interesting before she was gone.
That Falacci (sp?) was brasher than Logan was humorous, but that seemed to be about all she had. Maybe, as with Samantha Buck, they just don't want to make the replacements so interesting that you'll miss them when the regulars return?
Wheeler/Nicholson, no contest.
Since the Rumanian mob episode, when Logan asks Wheeler if she's heard of the curse, she hasn't, and he says: "Goren would've", I've hoped to someday see an episode pairing Goren and Wheeler.
Eames fans, I'm one of you and I meant no disrespect.

Maybe not, I don't think it goes by how long you're in Major Case but how long you're in NYPD. If his Character has been at NYPD longer he maybe Senior Partner.
I wish they would do like they did in Homocide Life on the Streets and have a primary Detective. On different Cases, a different detective is primary.
