Good morning! My daughter has an appt today at callbacks at 5 pm. I'm sure she'll call me when she's done and I'll let ya'll know what she says.

I woke up this morning from a nightmare that I was auditioning today, that my daughter was there for support, that we left the audition venue on foot to get some lunch and on the way back to my audition I completely forgot the words to the song I had written (which is really funny because she's the songwriter -- I've never written one in my life) and then we forgot the way to the audition and as I was crying on the sidewalk looked at my watch and saw that right then I was suppose to be starting my audition. Boy, I hope her audition goes better than mine did!

Oh WOW! She has a beautiful voice. Good luck to her, not that she needs it. I hope for once they will see that she is the "whole package." Talent and beauty! Please keep us updated.

Just came from the Call Back auditions for Stealth Artist #1 and Tim LaRouche was there auditioning again, not as part of a duo, but as a solo. Apparently he waited in line yesterday at the open call.

we made call backs in dc we are a trio from columbus,ohio called freight train we sung a org. and born country we felt the judges really liked our stuff when we told them we were a 7 piece band one lady said f them other 4 guys you guys are good ...so i guess we will see just waiting for a call or something..we loved all the judges and contestants the whole exp.was great

We also saw Hay Fire Trio, Scott Dubose (sp?), Scarlett Mitchell--so many great folks!!! Let me just say, there is a LOT of talent to choose from!!!! and I'm just talking about Nashville....this is going to be an awesome season to watch!!! Hey guys! Just wanted to let you know, we ran into MSboy/KustomKountry - Michael when we had to run back over for some different producers to hear Scarlett again. He asked to please post that he had made it to the 2nd day callback. We were so excited for him; he is such a nice guy. We were at the hockey game when they called Scarlett to see if she could come back right away. She didn't have her guitar with her, and God bless Michael, he let her use his. I can't thank him enough! He's certainly one of those Southern gentlemen, and proof that chivalry is still alive in the South. Can't wait to hear how everyone else's day two went. I'm sure you'll hear from Scarlett herself later, but as of now she's still running around doing errands and what not like a chicken with her head cut off! Ha!

My daughter got to audition at about midnight last night (her appt was at 5 p.m.) She said she had started to grow a bit weary but when it was time to audition she was very excited and wide awake. She met a lot of awesome people and just had a really good time. As far as the audition itself, she said there were 3 girls and 1 guy as judges and that they were very friendly (she was a little surprised as she knew they had to be extremely tired). She said they really seemed to like her and were very complimentary. She sang her original (a song she wrote when her husband was going to Iraq) and then a cover song and while she was singing her cover song the judges were talking some amongst themselves. Only thing is, she said she doesn't know if they were talking about her or just talking about going to McDonalds after it was over! Anyway, overall a great experience, but not having a lot of patience, it's going to be a very long 4 weeks.
