Seriously!
I have trouble keeping up with this thread!

Of course James Roday is pretty good motivation to do so. laugh.gif

Oh, I'm over here fairly often... I don't believe in the whole 'competition' thing... as I've always said, they both have highly redeeming characteristics that I respect about both... Tim just happens to be a bit more 'my type' than James. I'm also a bit of an 'underdog' type person... I'm usually a fan of the unconventional hero/character/guy not the 'popular' one.

So, no, no fence scaling or guard dog evasion... just my typical read and respond as I wish.

Good to know. I respect both as actors. And I can understand Tim being someone's type completely. He really is a very fun, entertaining guy.

Edited to add: No longer a member...Officially an Enthusiast!!! Well, I'm excited about it.

What's the secret?!?!?!

It's late and I'm tired and I'm editing this post to say that I don't really think of this thread as a contest.
Those who like Tim and only Tim, and can post a hundred times a day on their own thread if they want to.
Those who like James and only James, can post a hundred times a day on this thread if they want to (but please don't smile.gif

Although I have a decided preference for the hotness that is the actor James Roday, I read both threads.
Keep on posting to give us something to enjoy while we wait for new episodes to air.

Thank you.

Any time you use reply (like with this post), it does not count as a new post, and is not included in the totals.
So, if you never quote 'reply,' you increase the post numbers, but make it very hard for anyone to follow what you've been talking about without reading through pages of previous posts.
I find this thread much easier to follow than the Tim thread, so please keep using 'reply.'

LOL how do we EVER get new pages then? We reply all the time...

Sorry!
I mistakenly quoted something I read on the Tim thread. Never mind.
I'm posting this reply so that my shirtless James pics appear at the top of the next page to greet everyone tomorrow.

"It was bothering me too much that I just had to see what they would say. And that day they got like 10 more pages and I really wanted to see how they were catching up so fast!"

HOWDY! Yes, I'm visiting from the "Tim Thread", I'm a regular poster over there.

Guys, this isn't a competition. No "posting secrets" to be discovered. There's just two groups of people posting on two different threads about specific actors they like on a TV show. I like James Roday as an actor, his sharp wit and intellectual humor really bring life to the show. But Shawn's jokes wouldn't be nearly as funny if he didn't have a "straight man" to his comedian, and Lassiter fills that role as the opposite of the show's star. Tim Omundson is great in this role, and gives the character a refreshing depth of field (think of the Victoria scenes in "Tuesday The 17th"). The show just wouldn't be as funny if Shawn didn't have Lassiter to constantly pester and annoy. That's why I like Tim Omundson so much, he's a damn fine actor with a unique physical look who brings quality to the Lassiter character. He just plays it so well. I like everyone on the cast, but Omundson is simply my favorite.

One of the reasons I like Psych so much is because EVERY character is essential. Every character has grown and evolved as the show has progressed. Good writing, great cast, juvenile humor that somehow manages to be intellectual at the same time. It doesn't get any better than that.

By the way, feel free to come visit us TIManiacs over in the other thread. We always love to hear people's opinions, you're welcome any time.

I enjoyed it, mostly because I'm a HUGE Superman fan and I felt like I had an obligation to. tongue.gif Honestly, it wasn't as good as the older movies. And I really would have rather seen Tom Welling as the new Superman instead of Brandon.

I vote James Roday as the next Superman!

I will not be satisfied now until James does something Superman related. tongue.gif

For your viewing pleasure, I present SHIRTLESS James from Repli-Kate.
The scene:

James' character finds himself in bed with the wrong woman

He grabs a sheet and runs out of the room

He trips on the sheet and falls down and goes boom

And a bulldog kisses his owie

whats repli kate about?

James plays a lab assistant named Max and he's currently working on a project that allows lifeforms to be cloned. He meets a girl who's beautiful and likes science but he doesn't think he really has a chance with her, but then she visits him in the lab and he accidentally clones her, so he has to try to keep it a secret because she'd probably freak if she were to find out.

whats repli kate about?

From IMDB:

"A teenage scientist/lab technician named Max Fleming (James Roday) has just met the perfect woman whom he dreamed of; beautiful, smart and sexy magazine reporter Kate Carson who is trying to gain some scientific information from Max. Unfortunately, a science geek like Max isn't the type of male Kate admired of. However, one day, during an experiment, Max accidentally clones Kate. With the help of his buddy Henry, Max transforms his Repli-Kate into a more mature and masculine type of person, as well as taking advantage towards the situations. But, it was such a thrill for Max when his maniacal boss, Dr.Jonas, has the real Kate return to finish off her story on the genetic lab. Soon, Max realizes that the true Kate represents true perfection and love rather then the too-much Repli-Kate. Not only that, the real Kate begins to fall for Max too, until she discovers Max's little secret."

Originally shot for theatrical release, then shunted directly to video (and that in the clearance bins), "Repli-Kate" is a surprisingly entertaining movie. Taken on its own terms (essentially a very vulgar "Weird Science" meets Maxim magazine, it's not for the easily offended), it's occasionally laugh-out-loud hilarious.

If, after reading the above, you'd like to own a copy, you can get it from Amazon.com for around five dollars.

It's worth every penny to watch scenes like this over and over again:
