I would have loved to see that go down. James, Dulé, Chris and Jeffrey...my goodness. I wanna see more of James' skills, I know he loves football but we only saw some of that two weeks ago.

I can't believe that I'm actually posting anything- I've never done anything like this before, but I am hopelessly addicted to Psych and James Roday! I am so obsessed with watching anything that he has done and finding any pictures of him! Thanks to all the people that have posted pictures of James- I simply cannot get enough!!!! He is such a hottie!!!

My last few posts were regarding Tim Omundson. I figured it was time to post on this thread.
I thought I'd share this interesting tidbit, an 'outsiders' point of view taken from an interview with George Takei, who guest-starred in 'Shawn vs. The Red Phantom.'

George Takei: "But there was one thing of myself in the character 'George Takei.' I do loooove blueberries!"

Takei could not be funnier and more congenial in person. He had a few more things to say about his work on Psych, namely that James Roday and Dulé Hill were the polar opposites of their onscreen characters. James, said George, was a “real actor,” because as soon as the cameras stop rolling, he’s a very introspective, serious, subdued man who is very focused on his work. Where Shawn communicates with a lot of gestures and is very extroverted and chatty, James is quiet and thoughtful.

George had been a big fan of The West Wing, so he had been most looking forward to working with Dulé. However, he was surprised to find that Dulé is actually a “very laid back song-and-dance guy” who can sing and dance and who entertained them between takes. Apparently, Dulé can tapdance… and frequently does, apropos of nothing! George described him as gregarious and outgoing, and nothing like the worrywort he plays on Psych. I guess we know who the driving force behind the Psych-Outs are now!

They said something similar about James once on a commentary (possibly the American Duos one? but I'm really not sure)... which is why, when it comes down to it I think I prefer Shawn over Lassiter, but I'd rather meet Tim than James (I don't do well around reserved people... because either I am too withdrawn, or I make an arse of myself by attempting to be friendly, which rarely works well for me in person). ::shurgs:: JMHO

okay i KNOW i just said i prefer the shorter hair but then i was going through some of the other pics on james-roday.net and found this one -

oh and anyone else who has watched the interview (and if you haven't you can hit it up on YouTube) - did you notice you can tell almost the exact moment that James "checks out" of that interview and then ...wait for it...Dulé follows suite about 10 seconds later. It's funny and sad all at the same time

Yes, it is definitely his personality on the show that makes him even more attractive!

What Interview is this? I'd like to watch it, but I'm sure there are zillions of interviews with them ... :]

And the thing about James and Dulé being exact opposites of their characters is intersting ... it seems actors always play someone that's the exact opoosite of themselves. But in some Psyhouts, James seens very outgoing ... XD

and yeah whenever there is a close up of his face in the show (well when you can see his ear) you can see the hole in which the earring would go haha. I think he wore one in the episode that showed him getting arrested by his dad when he has long hair..anyone remember that?

yeah i always see the earhole now after someone told me about it. i do remember that episode but i dont remember seeing an earring... but ill look for it next time i watch it

Yes, James is a cutie pie...a nice double-dipped, white chocolate chunkie hunk with a nice swirly blond-tipped dewdrop hair.

But I also must say that Dulé is a fine honey molasses, ebony majestry, chocolate brown sugar bear (thank you to Jill Scott for the words!).

But best of all..they both can act, write (for James) and produce extremely well. That is the best part.
