We reported here yesterday that Kurt Angle claims he is fighting Randy Couture in a legit mixed martial arts fight in the next several months. Angle also repeated that UFC president Dana White has offered him a big money contract.

In an interview with the UK's Setanta Sports News, UFC star Chuck Liddell says Kurt Angle is "living in a dream world" if he truly thinks he can make a dent in Mixed Martial Arts competition:

"He talks about it all the time, but he hasn’t made any movements towards doing it, to my knowledge he hasn’t done any training or cross-training. If he’s just gonna come in and wrestle, he’s going to get beat, you can’t just be a one-dimensional fighter in The UFC."

Hi Bubba here, I kinda agree with Chuck.

Don't get me wrong because I am a huge Liddell fan, but him talking about being 1-dimensional is just a little ironic. He's not terrible at the other aspects, but this guy is really known as a striker, and his reputation isn't exactly of someone who is multi-dimensional.

But back on topic, he and Lesnar share a similar opinion. Angle has said he wants to go into UFC, but he hasn't done anything. Angle has as much a chance to succeed in MMA as Bobby Lashley.

I'm gonna cut through the crap, Liddell has striking and take down defense. Thats it. Liddell is one over hyped fighter. Guys like GSP and Penn deserve their hype because there badasses that are great at everything.

Angle is to old and has to many old injuries to succeed in MMA. Its not like he doesn't have talent he's just come to it a little to far down the road.

MMA match in a pro wrestling ring is going to be boring as hell. People aren't paying to see MMA. To really watch and enjoy MMA, you really need to have some sort of interest and knowledge about it to really appareciate a good match. They won't be providing that.

A legit fight match, could be interesting for a growing TNA. Instant promotion.

Everyone knows the Mayweather/Show match is going to be a joke.

That goes without saying really. You have to interested in some form of Martial Art or boxing, or you just have to like overall fighting. If Joe and Angle work on striking then it won't be so bad. But there are no chops in MMA and they have to really hit each other.
