Me and my friends have decided that we will now headslap each other for the stupid things we do.
I got two headslaps yesterday

The first one was because we were writing a sensory details essay and I asked my friend, "What's the sixth sense?" And he laughed then head slapped me. It was early in the morning, so I have an excuse to be so stupid. ;p
The second one is because me and my friends were having a conversation while we were waiting in line, then out of nowhere I ran out of line really fast and came back a few minutes later. So I got a headslap for ditching my friends randomly

I had to get my juice box thingie.

You talk about it to anyone who will listen.

1. You have seen every episode several times and still never get tired of it. (For sho! (Yes))
2. You will yell if someone tries bothers you on Tuesday night when you are watching a new episode of NCIS. (heck yes. You do not even know! )
3. You find yourself Gibbs Slapping people. (many times)
4. You have had a dream about it or involving one of the characters. (Yes)
5. You daze out while sitting at your desk and imagine yourself running along side Tony and Ziva with your gun drawn yelling, "Federal agents! Drop your weapon!" (No... Yes.)
6. You watch the movies that Tony has mentioned. As many as humanly possible that is. (A few.)
7. You wish USA would put more than just three episodes a night on. (Yes)
8. You have started using military refernces. Hit the head, scuttle butt, hit the rack, etc. (Not a lot, but sometimes)

10. You smell something funny or hear a beeping sound and your mind goes to a chemical attack or a bomb. (okay, that was only twice)
11. You call people Probie and use McNicknames. (Yes. I call my friend, Samantha, McFlowerPower all the time so she took a picture of herself, and put it on myspace and it said "McFlowerPower XD" In big letters on the picture. She dedicated it to me )

DVR every episode, and watch USA re-runs over and over, until you know all the words to the script!

I'm new here since this is only my third post. Here are what I think makes me an addict:
I own all 6 seasons on DVD, and I still watch NCIS every day on USA - both the East feed (in HD) and the West feed, and then on CBS on Tuesday night and record it on my DVR to watch again (I even watch it for free on the Pay Per View channel)! I watch all the marathons - both feeds again, and I'm voting for the Scara-a-thon marathon on Halloween and will watch that (both feeds) and then I'll watch my DVDs on Halloween of NCIS also! Ok, so I can't get enough of NCIS, and I love it since it makes me laugh and is heartwarming and everything else!
I'm dressing at Abbs for Halloween again (I didn't even know about Goth before watching NCIS) and now I notice it everwhere. I didn't even realize that I had Goth jewelry - all sorts of silver chain collars/bracelets with padlocks from Tiffany & Co. that I've collected through the years before I knew about NCIS.
I shop at Cache where they supply a lot of the clothes the Ziva wears (they told me), but again I always bought my clothes there anyway - especially black sweaters with chains and studs on them.
I talk about NCIS in stores and recruit new viewers constantly.
I talk on the phone about NCIS to my brother (who also watches it with his wife).
I know so much about forensics from Abby and terms from Ducky, like "exploding casket symdrom." I can't eat just one pistachio either, btw, lol!
I remember about all of the McGee-isms. And, I'm writing a couple of books since I got inspired by McGee aka Thom E. Gemcity, lol!
I won't go on since I'm sure you all think I'm certifiably crazy by now, but (in fact) I'm just crazy about NCIS and all the actors and how they portray their characters and the humor and drama in the episodes! I really love all the things they throw in for the fans in the epsiodes (referring back to things from previous episodes) or the great extras on all the DVDs of the actors talking to us about the show and narrating the episodes (especially Michael Weatherly usually talking about everything, but the episode he's narrating, lol)!

I am guilty of one and two.

I'm a fairly new fan of NCIS(got into it this past year and have Mom to think for that!) and it was all because of the techno music or the beginning sequence-thought it was the most beautiful theme song I've ever listened to in my life! Anyone get the soundtrack?? I did and it's awesome!

Favorite character is definitely DiNozzo..I just think he's so frakkin' hot!!! What's not to love about him? He's charming, nice bod, easy on the eyes and just downright hilarious if you ask me! Did I mention he was hot already?

And also love the names he gives poor McGhee.

I started watching the show in the breakroom at work! An employee from another department went to the breakroom for lunch just a few minutes before I did and turned the TV to NCIS every day. After a while, I started watching it even when he wasn't there, then watched it at home, then set the DVR...
Here's one that crossed my mind a few times, and one of these days I'm gonna say it out loud.
Have you ever had your supervisor give you a new project, and your immediate response was, "on it, boss"?
Oh, and the theme song is good too! I got my violin out a few times to play along and figure out the notes to the theme song. Does that make me a McGeek? Oh, well, my little brother reminds me of that often. I took the character profile questionnaire and the first time I was McGee! My brother was DiNozzo. He laughed at me. I then took it again and came up with Ziva. Now he's scared of me

Does anyone dress up to watch the show? When Tuesday night comes along I dress up as Abby: black t-shirt w/rhinestone skull & cross bones, black studded dog collar, small black studded dog collars for bracelets, and skull earrings. At first I felt kind of "hinky" dressing up but, then my husband reminded me that football fans (Packer fans in particular since we are in WI) dress up all the time. I am also guilty of most of the items from the list. We are both totally NCIS crazy!

1. You feel the urge to Gibbs slap those around you that irritate you or contradict you.
I actually have!!!
2. You have started calling your significant other Elf Lord.
Don't have a significant other...
3. You've started carrying your Swiss Army knife again because of rule #9.
Don't want to get in trouble at school.
4. You can easily quote most of The Gibbs Rules
I have a shirt with like 10 of them!
5. All the jargon Tim and Abby spout off is starting to make sense
Not quite...
6. The thought of an autopsy doesn't bother you in the slightest because Ducky makes it look cool.
I can stare at the opened up dead bodies and wish Ducky was doing my autopsy.
7. You've picked up gross anatomy lessons from watching Ducky
Somewhat.
8. Suddenly you find yourself going on aimlessly in true Ducky fashion with your colleagues
I could if i had enough trivia!
9. You own NCIS seasons on DVD
#1 on my birthday/Christmas lists!!!
10. You can't wait until April 8 until the next new epsiode comes on. The Tivo is already set, right??
Sadly I do not have Tivo, but i have the alarm set on my phone for every tuesday at 7!
I recorded the theme song as the ringtone for my phone.
I fantasize about being on NCIS and the whole plot and everything.
When I think about the characters getting hurt or shot, (like in Twilight) the breath goes out of me.
My birthday/Christmas lists are all NCIS related.
I made a collage of the cast and then one each of the characters individually.
I made a list of all of the episodes all color coded and highlighted to show which ones I have seen.
Most of my thoughts have to do with NCIS.
I can relate most things to NCIS!
NCIS is my favorite show on tv EVER!
If I had the time, I would watch NCIS nonstop.
If I met the actors I would be screaming my head off. (but i bet most people would do that)
I made up a name that uses the first initial of what the characters are called- GibbsAbbyDuckyDiNozzoZivaKateMcGee = GADDZKM
I freak out if i see the cast members on other things like Mark Harmon on Freaky Friday! (hyperventalating!!!)
I am asking for a farting hippo and if I have to I will make one at Build-A-Bear or something.
I really want to try Caf-Pow!
I scream at the tv when a commercial comes on.
I spent half an hour spaced out thinking about NCIS in the car.
I am mad right now that USA is not playing NCIS.
I got people to like NCIS!
I yelled at my friend because she said she was more obsessed than me.
I have a lot more but then people will get tired of reading.

If you're getting a headache from a headslap, the person administering the slap ain't doin it right. Remember, it's intended as a wakeup call, not a punishment.

Signs you are an addict...
You are watching an episode, someone says "it's just a coincidence," and before Gibbs can say it, you (from the comfort of your living room couch) say to the television, "there's no such thing as coincidences!" You are even more of an addict when you start saying these phrases in real life to your friends and family
I'm sure there are many more examples to choose from. This is just the one I experienced earlier today while watching a new (well, new to me) episode.

Also, The episode where they are all in to help Ziva, they play this song called "Chad Gadya." Abby and McGee started singing it to Tony. I thought it sounded interesting, so I looked it up and downloaded it... lol. Now every time I hear the song, I think of McGee and Abby.

2. I tend to say "ya think" and "on your six"
3. I do still carry around my pocket knife the army issued me when i was in the military because of rule #9
4. Gibbs rules are on my dry erase board and I abide by most of the ones that apply to my daily life. like #3, don't believe what you are told always double check #4, the best way to keep a secret keep it to yourself. second best? tell one other person--if you must. There is no third best! and the other #4. never apologize its a sign of weakness, #7, always be specific when you lie #8, never take anything for granted. #15, always work as a team && #18 its better to seek forgiveness than ask permission.
5. I downloaded a theme on my computer to where all the sounds and graphics are like the sounds on the NCIS computers like a science/ investigator theme. haha
6. I used to think the dead bodies were nasty but seeing ducky open them up everytime i watch NCIS which is ALOT .. it doesn't bother me anymore.. we will see in real life if I ever have to see that stuff haha
7. I have every single episode of NCIS 1-7 on my computer and I have rated them so I know which one they are when I want to watch them again

8. My TEXT TONE is the NCIS theme song
9. I asked for an NCIS hoodie for Christmas
10. I have tried to find every Mark Harmon movie there is too see how he has changed. He still acts the same..ahhh so fine

11. I try and watch all the interviews with all the characters
12. the background on my computer is a picture of my two favs.. GABBY

13. I am changing my MOS in the army to Military Police so I can train up and hopefully become an agent one day

14. I sent the cast a Christmas card and told them all how great they are and happy holidays of course.
