I thought I'd provide a little visual inspiration for discussion with something I've never posted on this thread . . .
. . . a Lassie pic instead of a Tim* pic

I'm nobody.
Therefore, I am perfect.

Great pic, thanks for sharing!
However, I would contest that every Lassie pic is a Tim pic (though not every Tim pic is a Lassie pic)... kinda like squares and rectangles!

That's quite okay... the whole square/rectangle (or rhombus/parallelogram) thing blew my mind when I was young.

She does on occasion, though I must admit I'm not her biggest fan these days. She has a lot of work to do to redeem herself in my opinion after the finale. And yes, I do realize that once again I am in an incredibly small minority.
As for the Tim sexiness: Oh, how I love that moment! That episode is easily one of my favorites this season. So many wonderful Lassie moments!

Okay so I'm watching "Talk Derby to Me" right now, and for a minute there I kind of remembered why I like her ("Would it help if I told you the other ones weren't cute at all?") and once again why I'm upset with her right now (Shawn freaking makes her dinner,
complete with candles and she doesn't even pretend to appreciate it!). Also, this episode doesn't involve Lassiter nearly enough for my liking.
Heartbreak_Princess
Mar 25 2009, 10:16 PM
Yeah, her being so unappreciative is pretty annoying at times. I love the episode Talk Derby to Me because it showed Jules in a new light, but I also hated it because she got on my nerves. Plus, not enough Lassie. But I am a huge WWE fan, so seeing Mickie James on Psych made me squee more than you could possibly imagine! lol!
acubound05
Mar 25 2009, 10:28 PM
WWE's not really my style. I have not watched it once. Therefore, that episode has no redeeming qualities. It still feels very Psych-like and there's nothing inherently wrong with it. Shawn has some great one-liners. And we did get a great Lassie-smile! I probably even liked it pretty well at first, but Jules has just annoyed me more as the season has gone on.
Heartbreak_Princess
Mar 25 2009, 10:34 PM
You have to watch WWE at least once! I'm going to a show in May! I've got 5th row, so I'll almost certainly be visible. It's not the one on USA though, it's on My 64 or whatever that channel is called. The show is called Friday Night Smackdown anyway. Oh, and ECW on Sci Fi (they're taped the same day). So, I guess twice then. In fact, all of you need to watch it! It's my one chance to sort of be on tv! lol!
And yeah, they really need to get Jules back on track. They're ruining a fabulous character!!!
acubound05
Mar 25 2009, 11:06 PM
For you, I could attempt to make it through a sitting.
I suppose they need to get Jules back on track, but I kind of don't want them to. I'm somewhat interested to see exactly how terrible they can make her and still have everyone be rooting for her and Shawn. I'm evil, I know!
Okay, so maybe I don't want them to really ruin her, and they should probably bring her back from the edge a bit. I just need someone to take my frustration out on right now, so it's gonna be Jules for tonight.
Heartbreak_Princess
Mar 25 2009, 11:14 PM
Yay!
And I agree on both parts. Seeing her become more and more awful as the Shules fan continue to blindly adore that pairing would be pretty funny. On the other hand, I adore Juliet and want her to be back to her awesome self again.

"You have to watch WWE at least once! "
I've never seen WWE live, nor have I seen the "Talk Derby To Me" episode. I didn't become a fan until I saw "Lassie Did a Bad Bad Thing", and by then USA had quit re-running the first half of season 3. So I'll have to wait until either USA runs another PSYCH marathon or season 3 hits DVD to catch it. That's okay though, just more PSYCH to discover at a later date.
You want to see a GREAT live event, go see PBR Bullriding. It combines a bit of wresting theatrics with bad-ass super tough cowboys getting tossed about like wind-up toys. The bulls are athletes in that sport, too. If the PBR comes near your town, I highly recommend you go check it out.
"And yeah, they really need to get Jules back on track. They're ruining a fabulous character!!!"
I really liked her in "Thursday The 17th", thought they did a good job showing her as a dependable, competent character. And what a great Lassie plot line to boot! Poor guy, I actually felt bad for the character. In one scene the writers managed to expand Lassiter's depth tenfold. It will be interesting to see what they do with him in season 4.

Hm, bullriding eh? Sounds like fun. I'm from Ohio, so there's always some sort of bullriding event around. I'll have to check out PBR. Sounds sweet.
You're right, Juliet was pretty awesome in Tuesday the 17th. She kicked some bad guy butt. And Lassie's storyline makes me cry everytime. I just wanna give him a big hug. I bet Shawn is still available for hugs. lol! I can't wait to see what they're going to do with Lassie next season! Is it summer yet?

Ok Folks,
For all those who want to see Tim Omundson without his shirt on, I have found it for you. Unfortunately his "hotness" is pretty much zero at that point in this TV episode because he is playing a corpse. Yeah, his character gets killed, but at least he suffers a cool, gruesome, unique death at the hands of the bad guy. And you know he must have had fun running around the set creeping people out in his "dead guy" make-up between takes.
Anyway, here is the link. It's an episode of the TV series "John Doe" called TONE DEAD:

I think Maggie is great, but I agree on the not being quite so loving of Juliet. Granted, the Shules thing often annoys the heck outta me... more so because she seems so hot and cold towards Shawn (the aforementioned scene with the dinner Shawn prepared being a good example). I'm not a huge fan of how for awhile they had Shawn chasing her a bit too hard as well... I love the whole Shabigail thing, because I think it takes Shawn to a better footing as a character, rather than that love sick puppy that I was starting to get a bit of a hint of.
I'm also a bit unclear on where Jules stands these days as to Shawn as a 'psychic'... I mean, if they want to portray her as a maturing detective who is becoming more savvy and ready, then does that really work with the whole "Shawn I believe everything you say and do because, after all, you are a psychic!"? I *love* where Lassie is, not (and never) believing Shawn, but grudgingly accepting his help because it *is* help. And the Chief, I think she accepts Shawn --not so much as a psychic-- but because she trusts Henry enough to believe that Shawn is good at what he does. I just haven't been clear on where Jules is nowadays. She certainly used to be head over heels in belief of Shawn--but as they've had the character grow, I'm not sure they've made it clear if she's grown out of that blind faith in Shawn.
Sorry... it's getting late and I'm rambling...

Yay! More Tim TV!
His first look on this show is very Lassiter. I think he looks kind of Clark Kent-ish with glasses on. Because of this episode, I have discovered how absolutely adorable Tim looks in a hoodie. Seriously! It's pretty cute.

Dead Tim looks kind of gross. That had to be weird to look at in the make-up mirror! But yay for the chest hair viewing, even if he's laying down and has his throat cut.
