Wasn't it, though? I love Tim as a mentally-unbalanced man with a rifle in his arms! It's sexy.
So I've decided- Tim could do just about any role, ever, and I'd love him in it. I think that's pretty much where it stands.
Heartbreak_Princess
Mar 24 2009, 11:46 PM
So sexy! Yep, he can do anything and still be irrationally hot. Speaking of which, I've got a screencap from Starship Troopers of Tim the Psychic!
acubound05
Mar 24 2009, 11:48 PM
Oooo, I like it! There's something oddly entrancing about his eyes. Probably the fact that he's playing a psychic, yeah?
Heartbreak_Princess
Mar 24 2009, 11:51 PM
I'd say that's it. I actually kind of like the goatee. lol! I think his line is, "Do you think you're psychic? Well, maybe you are." Or something really close to that. Cracks me up every time!
acubound05
Mar 24 2009, 11:55 PM
Sounds entertaining. I'll have to catch it next time it's on TV!
Heartbreak_Princess
Mar 24 2009, 11:57 PM
You can watch it on quick silver screen for free. If I remember right, Tim only has the one line. I could be wrong. It's been a while since I've seen the whole thing.

Mar 25 2009, 12:22 AM
My computer let me back on the internet! I'm not really sure what happened. Very inexcusable though, whatever it was.
So ladies! Which facet of Tim/Lassie's amazingness shall we discuss tonight while we procrastinate?
AdoptAPetToday
Mar 25 2009, 12:25 AM
ack yours did that too? ok good its not just me.
hmm...heritage? is he legit irish? i know its always referenced, but never concretely mentioned.
Heartbreak_Princess
Mar 25 2009, 12:26 AM
Hm, that's a tough one. I've been hunting all night for shows and movies Tim has starred in. I've got myself wanting to watch them all! lol! It's pretty fun. We could discuss his gorgeous eyes. Oh, how I love those Irish eyes!!!
acubound05
Mar 25 2009, 12:29 AM
Whether or not he's Irish is a good question. And I don't really know the answer. How would we? He does fit my vision of what a non-redheaded Irishman looks like. If nothing else, I'd say he's at least Irish in the way probably half of America is. (That old School House Rock song just started repeating itself in my head!)
AdoptAPetToday
Mar 25 2009, 12:30 AM
agreed with the eyes part. but is he actually irish? i feel like in one of the season 1 audio commentaries something was mentioned about how he might not actually be irish, just looks like it, which is why his "strong irish hairline" was mentioned in Cloudy...Chance of Murder.
Heartbreak_Princess
Mar 25 2009, 12:32 AM
I have no idea really. He was a pretty convincing leprechaun though, so I'll just say yes. lol!
AdoptAPetToday

haha agreed. i enjoyed the leprechaun. i dont care what nationality he is as long as he still can play a leprechaun and irish step dance.

Is anyone else's board slow? Other sites are working just fine, this one is not. If I stop posting it's probably safe to assume I gave up on it...
I feel like there should somehow be a bit of the Irish brogue written into Psych. I have no clue how it would happen, but if anyone could pull it off, the Psych writers could!
Heartbreak_Princess
Mar 25 2009, 12:41 AM
The board isn't messing up for me right now, but it does a lot.
If the Psych writers can work Lassie doing an Irish accent into the show, I shall gravel at their Godly feet!

next time lassies as wasted as he was in earth to starbucks. that would be HILARIOUS.
i dont know if the boards being slow, i just got a flood notice, but that was because i tried to post twice in a row.
acubound05
Mar 25 2009, 12:44 AM
I wish Psych was still around for St. Patrick's Day! Then I could envision Lassiter getting drunk at Tom Blair's Pub singing Irish drinking songs. I'm not sure he would actually do it-it doesn't seem to fit his personality as it currently is, but it'd be entertaining to watch!
AdoptAPetToday
Mar 25 2009, 12:47 AM
well if theres some special occasion which is lassie's first after being officially divorced from Victoria...that would be reason for him to get hammered. then the brogue could be introduced.

We would certainly get the best of a couple worlds then, wouldn't we? Undercover!Lassiter and Uber-Irish!Lassiter. Not a bad combo!
Heartbreak_Princess
Mar 25 2009, 12:51 AM
Yah! It would be sweet! And who says it has to take place in Santa Barbara?

He could need to go to Boston

or anywhere and Shawn could follow him because he's Shawn. lol! And there's your episode.

I feel like a toe should be dipped into the pool first.

There have certainly been small steps, though. Lassiter's been shown without wearing a tie and being completely buttoned up several times this season and once or twice last. Gus and Shawn have both been leaving more of their buttons undone. Pushing the envelope, perhaps?

Um...none immediately jump to mind. Oh, I lied! Someone is targeting competitive swimmers! Lassiter has a good swim build, I would imagine.
Okay, I refuse to fight my internet connection anymore. I suppose I'll go to bed.

Night acubound!
Hm, I'll have to think on that. I like acubound's idea. They could have it so that Lassie use to be on a swim team or something so he gets to be their undercover in the operation. It would be both funny and hot!

How do we get a situation with Lassiter using an Irish accent? EASY! Lassiter may have signed the divorce papers, but the division of assets would be far from over. If Victoria took half his assets, then he might need to do something that lots of average folks do, which is temporarily take a second job to rebuild build the bank account. So how does this fit into Lassiter using an Irish accent in an episode of Psych?:
Have Shawn & Gus run into him while he's moonlighting as the Leprechaun host at that Irish-themed restaurant from the speed dating episode.
Not only would he be using an Irish brogue, he'd be playing a friggin' LEPRECHAUN in a green suit. Imagine Lassiter in that stupid suit. Priceless. Not only is there a ton if material for Shawn & Gus pestering Lassiter for the entire episode, it's a great inside dig on Tim Omundson's role in "Luck of the Irish". Throw in a joke about Leprechauns playing basketball and you're got comedy gold.
Am I good or what?
