Okay, I should probably ask this now before I take up a million pages with quotes... how do I multiple quote things/ posts? Ooh, and how do I post images? (or wait, is that similar to the instructions for posting a signature? I'll need a code or a link?)

Thanks! smile.gif

If you want to reply to multiple people in one post, instead of hitting "Reply" click the "Quote button next to all the ones you want to reply to. Once they're all clicked... then hit the "Add Reply" button at the very bottom of the page (right hand side). It will quote all the ones you clicked "quote" on. You can trim inside them... just don't clear out the brackets with quote and /quote in them.

And posting an image is the same in posts as it is in your signature. The picture has to be online already. Once it is, then you can right click, and "Copy image location". That will get you the direct link that you can paste into the pop-up window that appears when you click the little picture frame icon in the toolbar of the post (under "Fonts"... between the two with +s).

"You astound me!" (I'd hold out handcuffs... but it might be too early for that wink.gif)

I like you more and more by the minute... though I'm not quiet about where I got my name from, I am quite proud of it and like when people do get the reference. (At the 3rd season finale, James, Steve, and Andy did a podcast commentary that was posted for us here online... they named off a bunch of people from the boards, and James gave me props for how inside of a joke my name was! I'm *still* over the moon about that one biggrin.gif) So, you get a gold star!

Oooh, thanks! It's so pretty and shiny! biggrin.gif That's pretty awesome about the podcast shout-outs (*glee for you*) smile.gif Lol, every time I see your name I think of that scene in "American Duos" where Gus throws the poor defenseless froggy right at Shawn's forehead. It was funny though, and I bet Winky Cutto the Psych frog enjoyed his screen time. smile.gif I'm sorry, I'm such a dork! tongue.gif

Hi! I'm a new member, but I have been reading this board for a while since it's so awesome! I'm a HUGE fan of Lassiter/ Tim Omundson, and may spend all my time here gushing on and on about him, lol. biggrin.gif He's definitely one of my favorite parts of Psych.

Hi! Just wanted to add my welcome to the board. smile.gif

My 3 favorite Psych episodes are "Lassie Did A Bad, Bad Thing" tied with "Shawn Has the Yips" and followed closely by "High Noon-ish."

Luna

DITTO on all counts! There are so many good episodes and good Lassie scenes in the show, but those 3 eps are my favorites too.

As a welcoming gift, here are some pics!

Scruffy Tim from Jericho (I love scruffy Tim, wherever I can get him biggrin.gif ):

Sad Lassie in danger...my favorite scene from Yips:

Lassie about to kick-assie:

And a silly pic that I just think is funny...the scene (from He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not...) is hilarious:

Welcome! smile.gif

Hi, Okapi! biggrin.gif You are so right, there are so many good Lassie moments all the way through the series. Those episodes really feature Lassiter, which I just love... am I alone in thinking that I would watch a spin off show of Lassiter's adventures? biggrin.gif LOL.

*shiny eyes* Thank you for the beautiful welcoming pictures!!! *SQUEE* I love all of them, well, except for super scuffy Tim. That one I like though, 'cause his eyes are just so deep blue! I can see a little scruffy on him, but I think I like him best all clean shaven. *ducks for cover* But he still looks as sexy anyway. smile.gif *blushing*

As soon I as I figure out how to post some pics, I will post many. smile.gif

From season to season, does everyone have favorite Lassiter episodes? (Or just favorite episodes in general?)

I'm glad to see you're settling in well! We're a fun and accepting bunch, as you're getting to see...as long as you dont commit blasphemy against TIMMEH and get hit with a citation and penance from the great Texasartchick... **grumbles**

But, onto Lassie- I think most of the Lassie-centric eps this season have been amazing. I can tell they're really developing his character, which is the most awesome thing!

Probably why we love him so much (besides that he's several shades of hot) is that his character as Lassiter is SO deep! He basically comes off as just this hard-nosed, stick up the (you know what) detective, bad temper, etc. But in reality, there is tons more there, and it's always coming out in unexpected ways, and we're really starting to see the other side of him that we always knew was there, but can now actually witness. It's like every time he reveals another tidbit of his personality, it's like a gift, and adds to the great, well-rounded, yet misunderstood character that he is. Then he punctuates those "gifts" with some awesome Glock action, and who wouldn't squee and melt?!

Just my 2 cents smile.gif

I love your 2 cents! biggrin.gif And completely agree. I love that Lassiter has evolved since the end of season 1, when he found out what everyone really thought of him in "Scary Sherry". Way harsh, but it was definitely a wake up call for him. smile.gif And now he's all sweet. I love all of his layers and I so enjoy his "gifts". (Awesome way to phrase it!) biggrin.gif

Last nights episode made me(as a Lassie Fan) really made. I mean it did nothing but sabotage the character of Lassiter. They made him over the top and just crazy. Now I personally feel that this episode was meant to air after "Shawn takes a shot in the Dark". Why? Because Lassie wasn't acting like this just becuase he wanted to solve a case without Shawn it's becuase he didn't want Shawn to get hurt. He was being overprotective and becuase we didn't get why he was being that way it just looked like he was being an external rectal opening. I understand that Shawn and Lassie aren't best friends but I doubt that Lassie would have done what he did last night without a good reason. Lassiter has softned up over the years. I mean look at him with Shawn in the western episode, and in "Shawn has the Yips". I'll be curious to see how he is in the next episode. Hopefully it won't be as bad as this was.

Hmm, I don't know. I don't totally disagree that Lassiter had seemed to revert back to some of his season 1 jerkiness, but I got the impression that there was a reason as to why Juliet and Lassiter were acting the way they were.
Spoiler:
And as it turned out, they were under high orders from the Chief about department budget cuts and then there was this really super important undercover drug operation that could, in no way, be compromised. Though they seemed standoffish and cold, I think at their core, Juliet and Lassiter were just doing their jobs and being good cops— even if that meant covering things up (since Shawn and Gus were not on the case) and being sort of harsh. I guess I saw Lassiter's behavior as both coming from a protective place and a "I take my work very seriously" place; and the truth is that Shawn and Gus aren't cops even though the four of them usually play together more nicely as "Team Psych".

I liked all the dramatic tension playing between all of the characters in this episode. I liked to see this more than usual intense side of Lassiter, that he's not just a stock character, that he has layers and dimensions and that we get to see more and more of his character/ personality (good and "bad" stuff).

Those are some great words. tongue.gif I would really have to agree with you. The intense side of Lassie was quite different but I liked seeing it. I really like your theory pointed out. Lassie has many Layers for the writers to pick at and at most he is a hard complexed character to deal with in the first place. Which is why I love Tim even more because he can take Lassiter and bring him to life smile.gif at the same time doing an amazing job at it.

Though Lassie did seem strangly off this episode with O'Hara taking over, doing all the talking. And Lassie just standing by. Not sure if this was spoiler info since I'm saying stuff about the episode so just to be safe:

Spoiler:
It was kind of odd the way he was acting too like in the interrogation room when Shawn & Gus had their masks pulled off and found out about the operation. Jules just kept talking while Lassie had the weirdest expression on his face. I couldn't really decipher what was going on w/ his character then. Maybe he felt bad about yelling at Gus earlier idk.

By the way I love your Signature pic biggrin.gif

I agree, Tim is such an amazing actor that he can really give Lassiter all of these facets to make him believable and real and imperfect. I totally understand your insights! smile.gif It was kind of a shock to the system to see Lassiter and Juliet behaving this way towards Shawn and Gus, especially when they have all been getting closer and actually seeming to work as a "team". Here's my take on Lassiter's expression in the Interogation: part of him was annoyed that Juliet was spilling the details of their undercover operation to Shawn and Gus when it seemed they had agreed (among themselves) to keep it from them, and the other part is kind of remorseful that he and Juliet had to be so harsh and tight lipped.

Thanks! I way <3 your signature too! All the best Tim goodness ever! biggrin.gif *glee*

And maybe he was aware that it's against the law to keep people tied up *overnight* without access to food/ water/ bathroom? ;-) Shawn and Gus could sue SBPD and retire on their awards after that. But that would suck for the fans, so let's hope they don't. wink.gif

Hi! Welcome! A little late, I know. My computer has virus and I'm still looking for people to fix it, so it knocks me off a lot. I completely agree, those are my fav episodes too. Well written and Lassie-heavy. XD

Howdy!
I just dropped in to take a look around and see what you all have been up to. Things seem rather quiet on the Tim front.

I didn't mind Lassiter's character in High Top Fade Out. Some of his dialogue seemed a little off, like it was written with the Chief in mind but when Kirsten wasn't used for this episode, it got rewritten for Tim. When Lassiter ordered Shawn off the case, I was half-expecting Shawn to say that he didn't take orders from Lassiter.

Lassiter and Juliet are a much more cohesive unit when Shawn and Juliet aren't flirting with each other. I miss the kinder, softer Juliet rather than the more seasoned veteran cop. Even though Jules and Lassie make a good team, a little less reality with my fantasy would be appreciated.

That is just too cute. I love when his hair is all mussed up. Like when he brings Chavez into the station in Lassie Did a Bad, Bad Thing and he's soaked from the rain. He's got cute scruffy hair~! *hunts for a good screencap*

And you're very welcome. And as a welcome present I thought you might enjoy another awesome pic of Lassie. It's from a hilarious skit.

This is random, but every time I see your signature (which is awesome btw!) smile.gif and the quote underneath, I get this urge to break out into song, namely, Liz Phair's "Extraordinary".... "I'm an average, every day sane psycho, super goddess, average, every day sane psycho...." Though your words are a nice and acceptable improvement/ addition on the lyrics.

P.S. Those aren't the poisonous flowers, are they? *giggles* (Oh, no, he gave all those away, with the expired candy. lol).

I'm pretty sure I've never heard the song you're referring to, LOL! I don't listen to music much...

Overall, I'd still take it as a compliment. I think. wink.gif

I come bearing a gift! I was looking through the video clips of Tim on IMDb.com and found his appearance on The George Carlin Show back in 1994.

Woot thanks acubound! It's fun to see other Tim stuff. smile.gif

There was a link a few pages ago to a blog by annelise who is collecting clips to other stuff Tim has done like that George Carlin one, and pics, also. I've bookmarked it since then and check on it. She posts new stuff pretty often. It's a nice place to go to find more stuff on Tim.

Here's the link again: http://timothyomundson.blogspot.com/

Thanks again to annelise for making that blog. It's another place I can get my fix. wink.gif

Lol, well no. I was just trying reference the episode in an attempt to be funny.... but I failed. unsure.gif

Since I'm all unsure anyway, how do I post an image? I keep trying with the "insert image" icon, entering the web address and I keep getting this message: "Sorry, dynamic pages in the [IMG] tags are not allowed"

There's certain picture links that aren't allowable (dynamic links). If it's something from photobucket, that happens if you "Copy image location" rather than copying the provided IMG tag (or direct link). If it's elsewhere... I'm not sure if I can help. I've gotten that occasionally on other things, and sometimes I wonder if the source somehow makes it impossible to hotlink the image.

A "bad" link (if in IMG tags): http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v284/Fox...pg?t=1254441449

The same pic, but w/ a "good" link: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v284/Fox...8/BBLassie2.jpg

Basically, I think it needs to end in .jpg or .gif of something similar to be an acceptable image

I hate it, but wow do his eyes pop in this picture! Is this around the time he was filming Deadwood?

I have no clue... I just Google image searched for fun--didn't even pay attention to the origin of the pic. Just wanted (as some say) TIMMEH!

I can't imagine it's not. The more I look at it the less it bothers me though, lol. Which is impressive, because I can't stand 70's porn-staches! I hope Tim realizes the power he has and continues to use it for good!

Yeah, it's from the "Deadwood" days. That pic was from a Junior League event back in 2003.

How could you?! DX

I should be doing my Criminology homework but instead, you've tempted me with that bait and I'm horribly distracted by eye candy. You tempting tempter of... temptingness! Gah, now I'll never get anything done. EVER.

Also, RainSoaked/Smirky!Lassie as promised:
