Though I call the above picture "Don't give us away in the police station, Shawn!" hiding of relationship Just kidding... mostly.

Like I've said before, I don't expect there to ever be actual Shassie on the show... nor would I want it. It's the fun of fics and seeing people be able to realistically take what is on the show and create another world around it that I love so much. Whether that be Shassie or Gules or Lassiet... I enjoy fic because it often explores something that will never be seen in the show. Just like some fics (yours included) can explore more serious topics than the show would ever touch or that CAN'T happen because of the basic, underlying premise of the show.

I rarely read fic written for a "on-screen" couple because it's not as much fun. I like seeing how people get around those couples and stll write canon (or realistic off-shoots of) for pairings of other characters. ::shurgs:: And that's my soapbox on why I like Shassie and Gules and not so much Shules (though, I also am just the type of person who hates the "foregone conclusion" kind of relationships... where a couple seems like they're being written to "be perfect for each other". Basically, I like being in the minority for that kind of thing on purpose.)

But, yeah... I totally acknowledge that... in real-life Psych, there is an animosity between Lassie and Shawn that helps drive the show.

Doesn't keep me from seeing with my Shassie colored glasses (which, CLEARLY, Kell has as well...)

Don't forget Meltreger was the original "Shassie-colored glasses" writer, though!

Just FYI, I've had a request from TVSpaz to please stop the ribbing about the "scary Tim Thread" comments she made in passing over on the James thread. She was cool with it at first, but it's been over a month and she feels it's getting a bit old. I think we're (I include myself) kind of starting to hurt her feelings a little bit about it honestly. And she's been VERY cool to us by supplying some wonderful screencaps of TimO and crew. Although no one here meant anything in a mean way, I think feelings are starting to get a little smished.

So could we please lighten up on that subject and welcome her with open arms into our little slice of TIMMEH! heaven? Let TVSpaz know the TIManiacs love her too! She swings by here enough that I consider her a fellow TIManiac by default. Let her know of the goodness that is Tim Omundson...

I love these pics- I remember this scene. Aww Lassie. Gotta love 'im though. He my not be the best graceful but I bet he's still a good fighter, if he ever does get a little one-on-one action. I would love to see that. Anyone else? Or is just me? Cuz I'm sure he's kikass.

I know he has incredible high pain tolerance. Several episodes shows this. One is where he gets a jab to the face, given it was by an older dude, and it made his nose bleed a bit but still he wasn't fazed and took a stance. That was cool. Sry, can't remember the other examples, it's late and I gotta wake up early.
