A new one? Exciting! biggrin.gif As for Lassiter...well, I pretty much agree with everything y'all said. smile.gif Dull answer, I know!

Yeah Lassie's is Friggin' amazing!! Hi I'm New.
psychrulz
Arrgghh!! Texasartchick!! I read the fanfic, what you've got of it up anyway, and it was really good, it's an interesting other side to Lassiter that you're exploring smile.gif I'll probably submit a more detailed review later, but so far I like it. I don't like being left hanging though, lol, so get to writing!

Wait for it....Wait for iiiit....my 200th post! Woohoo!!

Wait for it....Wait for iiiit....my 200th post! Woohoo!!

Congratulations! At least someone has reason to celebrate today.
I found a Tim pic that accurately reflects my current mood:

Can someone please tell me which episode contains the quote, "We don't have balls?" I need a good laugh, and I'd like to re-watch the episode in order to hear Lassiter say the actual line.

That'd be "Who Ya Gonna Call?" (the line happens when Lassie and Jules are canvassing the neighborhood looking for Regina)

After posting a pic from Luck of the Irish, the Scots need equal time.

Here's a link to a Tim clip that never fails to amuse me. It's from Judging Amy, and Tim is wearing full Scottish garb including a kilt(!) The song he sings is 'My Way.'

I haven't seen that one, but I love it! The moustache is atrocious and hilarious, all at the same time. He can definitely pull off a kilt, though! biggrin.gif

Oh that's too damn funny!

Texasartchick

psychrulz
That was hilarious! His look alone is great, but then to sing My Way as "wedding music" during an already awkward moment...that's perfect, lol.

Thanks for getting my day off to a good start smile.gif

Tim fans are truly loyal and dedicated. They appreciate the fact that anything and everything Tim Omundson does is a 'keeper.'
I'm sure that is why Mark Bukumunhe saved this pic from the Starfury Chariots of War 4 Con.

P.S. ...

. . . ROTFLMAO!!!
LizzyThePineappleQueen
He looks a lot like Tre Cool from Green Day in that pic.

ohmy.gif Wow. Just...wow. There aren't even any words. What kind of role was that?! That look doesn't work for him at all, but I'm also thinking it's kind of awesome. And it was probably pretty fun to do! How long ago was this?

Definitely Tre. Its probably the guyliner and the hair. The clothes are not really the same. Maybe early Tre.

For me it's definitely the hair and the guyliner, in that order. The clothes don't even factor into it; it's too hard to get past the face.
LizzyThePineappleQueen
Definitely a face Tre pulls a lot. Now I wanna listen to 21st Century Breakdown, followed by Basket Case and Minority.
acubound05
I wonder if he noticed the resemblance. Surely he did, right? It's just too obvious!

I don't think he would be one to listen to Green Day. But maybe I am wrong.

Really? I think it's fun, but it's not a look I generally go for. I don't want a man to look like he's spent more time in front of the mirror than I have. smile.gif

I think I like it because he looks younger... and then I don't feel so bad crushing on a guy 13 years my elder (additionally... that pic does not look like the pic of a guy who is happily married with two kids...)

As far as this Tre person... no clue who he is or what he looks like. (Yes, I am aware of Green Day as a band... and Good Riddance, and I've heard of American Idiot... but that's about as far as my awareness goes, no knowledge of the name of people or what they look like.)

I suppose you might have a point there, but I've gotten over the fact that he's 17-18 years older than I am. It's a non-issue at this point. It's not like I'll ever even meet him, much less in any way that an age gap would be important! smile.gif

This look definitely doesn't scream "family man", so I can see the appeal of that, too. But the way he talks about his wife and daughters is completely adorable, so it just adds to the awesomeness of Tim.
LizzyThePineappleQueen
I spend a lot of time in the mirror sometimes so it's kind of hard for him to spend more time in front of the mirror than me.

And this is Tre:

I have only heard him talk about his wife once, when he was talking about James and Maggie dating and how he found out.

Hi again!

My latest new old Tim pic has certainly generated a bit of discussion, so before I bid you all good night, I'll tell you as much as I remember. It's from either 2000 or 2001(I'm pretty sure it's 2000, actually), which means this is before Tim's kids were born. (I remember a later Con pic in which Tim is wearing a shirt with a picture of his baby daughter on it.)

The Con took place in London, and as the Xena actors sometimes do at Cons, they performed in a short sketch. Tim and another minor female Xena actress were on stage together. The pic of them together is not nearly as detailed as the one of Tim alone. As you can tell from the posted pic, Tim played a punk-rocker type. I believe that Tim's co-star assisted with makeup, including some fake tats which you can't quite see. At some point during the skit, Tim and the actress exchanged roles and bits of costume, as well.

Tim's hairy legs and shoes with no socks, along with the spiked hair and makeup, remind me of one of the pictures I have of my brother the actor that I'm sure he wishes would just disappear but I'm his sister and blackmail material is always good to have on hand. wink.gif

This is one of the funniest damn things I've seen in a long time! I laughed out loud for nearly 5 minutes when I saw it! Remember when I once asked, "When does Tim Omundson NOT have great hair?" I think I've just found the answer!

At least we know now that he's fearless when it comes to acting.

After sharing Punk!Tim yesterday, I thought I'd post one of my favorite Pretty!Tim Psych pics today.
I tend to prefer Lassie as macho or hot, but this one makes him look younger and more vulnerable and I really like it.
Usually I edit pics before I post them, but IMHO this one is perfect as is.

Nice picture! I always love when they put him in blues. Gotta make those eyes shine (not that they don't on their own...)! And this is an example of one of the few times in season 1 where his tie is actually not bad! Now I'm not sure about the circles on the tie vs. the grid pattern on his shirt, but I'll take what I can get!

Oh yeah, that's a nice one. Which episode is this one from? I can't remember off the top of my head.

Texasartchick

bethgreen
Sorry I don't remember what episode yesterday's pic is from. When I grabbed it, I labeled it as Season One, but that's all I wrote.

I was bored this morning, so I decided to animate screencaps from one of Tim's brief scenes from 'Daredevils.'
Feel free to make your own caption. smile.gif

Winky, where are you? wink.gif

And bethgreen, I like your icon! I'm still randomly giggling because of that quote, and I read it yesterday morning!

With the facial expressions you caught in this animation, it looks like he's saying a certain "F-word" that's not fit for network TV. Awww, is that the moment when he's told the truth about his "date"?

Nope. That's when Jules is telling him that Chief Vick wanted her to help set him up with someone. "It's a complete invasion of my privacy!" Right after these facial expressions, he goes into this sad confession about how he saws a frozen dinner in half every night before he heats it up and how he's alone. It's a great moment!

Wait...is this the same Con the other look was from?
bethgreen
Tim O. attended Starfury more than one year running.

Judging by this pic from 'Mike,'

the Punk!Tim pic is probably from the same year as this, 2002.

I'm trying to confirm years for my pics with the vague idea of putting together a little something for Tim's birthday in July.

LOL, that would've been *work*. 8-4:30 (and usually some more) every single day. Plus 45 mins before and another 45 mins after to commute. So, make that closer to 6:45-5:45...

Awwww, Poor Lassie! Man I REALLY need to see those season 3 episodes I missed!

Texasartchick
Texasartchick
I just saw a post on the "Season 3 DVD Commentary" thread that Maggie Lawson is going to do comments for "An Evening With Mr. Yang." What the heck? Wouldn't "Talk Derby To Me" be the better episode for that? I mean I can see her doing commentary because of that ONE SCENE at the end, but one would think the "Jules-centric" episode would be better for her feedback.

Now that being said, knowing that she's actually getting to do commentary this time, MAYBE we will get some Tim O. commentary?? I hope? Hmmm, I think I'll join Twitter and ask that question of the writers. "Are we EVER going to get Tim Omundson's commentary for an episode?" We should let them know of our requests for an audio recording of Tim O. goodness.

Texasartchick
Texasartchick
Well, I just saw the list of DVD commentaries from a link Winky posted, no Tim O. listed. Poop. I still think I'll go politely ask the writers on Twitter about future Tim O. commentaries, just to put the bug in their ear that there is an audience out here for such a thing. I'm not above begging you know...

You go! I was so sad when they announced there wasn't going to be a commentary with Tim on it!

Okay, I have a question to all you Twitter folks out there...how the hell do you post there? I don't see any damn option that allows you to post. Also, I tried to start following "Burtonguster" and "Shawnspencer" and found that they're blocked. I had to send a request. Go they have those accounts locked until they get a certain number of followers?

That Twitter crap is confusing damn it...how can I ask writers about providing the TIManiacs with more of the goodness that is Tim Omundson if I can't even post...

Texasartchick
psychrulz
I'm a newbie to the Twitter scene too, so I probably don't know all the ins and outs yet, but here's what I've figured out-

On your homepage, you should see a space at the top where you write your post, then hit the button to post. It starts out with a "140" and counts down to let you know how many characters you have left.

To write to someone specifically, You start with @(name) and then write the message. Twitter should automatically note it as a reply to that person.

Beyond that...I'm still learning too. Be patient, you'll get there smile.gif

PS- How's your fanfic coming along?
Texasartchick
"PS- How's your fanfic coming along?"

Thanks for asking! Chapter 2 is up. Chapter 3 is with the beta of awesomeness that is Winky Cutto. Chapter 4 (just a short epilogue) will be started soon. I can't remember, did you read chapter 2 yet? For some reason when I edited chapter 2 on Psychfic it dropped most of my reviews for that chapter, and I can't read them anymore. Which sucks, because there were some great ones on there!

The problems you're having are likely because the Twitter accounts for Shawn and Gus are (note the spellings carefully):
"ShawnSpencr" and "croutonbuster"... not those you listed.

Unfortunately, neither are updated any longer because NBC Universal put the kibosh on them.

Thus, we have: "Psychwrites" with is the only official(ish) Psych Twitter that still works, usually coming from Jason Berger.

Both the James Roday and Dulé Hill accounts are also bogus (as in, not the real people).

There's also "USA_Network" that is official from the USA peeps.

Hopefully that helps!
Texasartchick
I was just reading in the "Season 4 Spoilers" thread about the plot for the 7th episode of season 4. It's not titled yet. All I will say outside the spoilers box is that it looks like we'll get some great Lassie moments out of this one!

Spoiler:
STORY LINE
Shawn and Gus try to find out the man responsible for the attempted murder of Detective Lassiter -- and it's a long long list of suspects, starting with everyone who ever met him...

[MR. SALAMATCHIA / HOODED MAN] A rugged looking man in his 40s to 60s, an ex-Marine, first seen as an assassin in a hooded sweatshirt, he is still grieving for his son, who died from an overdose of drugs supplied by an infamous local pusher, Petrovich. Outraged that Petrovich is back out on the streets after serving a relatively minor sentence, he's out to kill not only the drug dealer, but every inept clown who investigated the case: and that includes Lassiter, Shawn and Gus. After killing Petrovich, Lassiter is next on his list.sptv050769..GUEST STAR (5)
