Welcome to the thread Psychluvr! Thanks for posting the pic, it's a good one. I don't remember seeing that image in an episode, which one is if from? Although I am not a "Shassiter" myself, I still think the pic is great. Now that we've seen him at his most vulnerable (the dinner scene with Victoria in "Tuesday the 17th") I'm hoping for some great Lassiter moments in season 4. And I'll bet we get some of them manifesting in the form of Lassiter showing concern for Shawn in "Shawn Takes a Shot in the Dark". At least I hope they don't write him as a completely unconcerned jerk, that would be a real disappointment.

Yep, I haven't seen it yet. From that picture it leads me to believe poor Lassiter gets stuck having to endure Shawn's antics by himself because O'Hara is undercover. At least that's a guess, however off it may be. Makes me want to see all these other season 3 episodes I've missed even more!


OK where is everybody? It's been dead aroind here for 2 weeks now. I'm guessing it's still finals season/summer home vacations taking it's toll? Come on, TIManiacs! Where art thou?

Unfortunately, we really don't see our Lassie very often that episode. But when we do, Lassiter and Shawn are in fine form and playing off each other very well! It makes for some great moments.
*And not even necessarily "Shassie" moments, though they can always be seen that way. They're just really fun moments between the two characters.

Any chance all the first half of season 3 is on there? Poor Texas hasn't seen those ones yet. And they are wonderful!

Vacation?! How jealous I am! I'm still in the middle of finals, then I have several graduations to travel to in various places the next couple weeks, and I need to take two short courses in June. I'm exhausted! Enjoy the rest of your vacation enough to make up for my lack of one!

I tried to do that this past weekend myself. I wound up with a 4 day weekend due to flexing out a training day, so I went back "home" to go visit my parents & friends. Unfortunately the "doing nothing" thing didn't last too long, since my job means I have certain social responsibilities.

I was in a Vitamin Shop store checking the nutritional content of some random protein bar when a customer entered the store to my left and approached the register. The clerk said, "May I help you?", and I heard the customer reply, "Give me all the money in the register. NOW!" I thought "Ok, here we go, game on", and began to draw my off-duty weapon. I was just about to turn around and level my gun at the guy's face when I heard him say, "Just kidding! Hahaha!" This random customer just came in and thought it would be really funny and cute to say that as a joke.

The clerk told him, "That isn't funny, man. You're lucky there's not a cop around!" This guy just laughed and said, "Oh lighten up, it's just a joke." He didn't get the fact that he had just scared the crap out of that poor clerk. The clerk was pissed. So I pulled out my badge, showed it to the customer and the clerk, and said, "Well actually there is a cop around. Do you have any idea how close I was to drawing my weapon on you?" The customer just looked at me and my badge with a stupid grin because he still didn't take it seriously. So I looked him in the eye and said, "Seriously. I was ready to fu<king shoot you. Don't do that $hit again." He got the message that time!

That's the nature of my job. Talk about work following you home. From zero to "Holy SCHNIKE!" in 60 seconds!

I cannot wait for everyone to finish finals/vacation/etc. and get back to the boards. I miss the screencap frenzy! On the bright side I have been enjoying some great fanfics over at Psychfic.

All I get when I click this link is a stupid ad that wants me to download some software, there's no option to skip it in order to watch the video. I tried doing a search and watching a video but when I try to watch any video I get the same damn ad wanting me to download stuff. Am I doing something wrong?

I just checked and pretty much all of the videos have been removed. I'm guessing USA is making sure it enforces it's control over it's rights to it's own TV show (fine by me, by the way). USA doesn't have those videos up on it's own site for viewing so it probably wants to make sure no one else does, either. That's ok, I'd rather watch these episodes for the first time in surround sound on my HDTV. Makes the viewing experience much more enjoyable.

Awwww, THANKS for posting these screencaps! I haven't seen "Gus Walks Into a Bank" yet, and of all the season 3 episodes I've yet to see, I'm looking forward to this one the most. Looks like some great Shawn & Gus moments with a little Lassie kickin' a$$ thrown in. That's a formula for greatness!

And yes, they were rockin' the shades. 10 points for being "so sexy right now!"

Ok folks, I've been yapping so much about what I hope to see in the next season of Psych that I figured it's time to put my money where my mouth is. Yes, that's right, I'm writing a Psych fanfic. Woo hoo! Nothing too fancy, just a short story that will probably be about 4 chapters long.

I'm trying to keep everyone in character. If you're truly bored then feel free to check it out and tell me if I've succeeded. Re:The tie-I can't say that I've actually paid any special attention to the tie, but that fact alone can be used as substantial evidence that the tie isn't particularly grotesque. Were that the case, I can pretty well guarantee I'd have noticed. From the picture it doesn't seem like a bad tie. Maybe a little busy given the pinstriping on the suit, but not bad and certainly a step up from previous choices in neckwear!

Woo-hoo, Lassie smirks rule! Now I want to see this episode even more. Maybe he's enjoying watching Shawn tear into someone else, as it can be tremendously entertaining. It is a spectacle to behold. He's also probably glad it isn't him for a change. 10 points for Lassie smirks.

Thanks! I've been working on the second chapter, but didn't get much writing done this weekend due to work, lack of sleep, and a minor flood that soaked about 1/3 of my master bedroom carpet. The fixture on the shower in the apartment above mine failed and flooded their bathroom, which meant the runoff cascaded down and exited through the ventilation fan in my master bathroom directly underneath. Fortunately most of the water ended up falling harmlessly into my bathtub, but some soaked the carpet in that corner of the room. I got a call from my apartment complex at 1:00 am Saturday, and had to run home to help take care of it. I think I scared the crap out of my poor college kid neighbors when "Tactical Georgia" pulled up in the patrol car. (in case I haven't mentioned it before, my teammates nicknamed me Tactical Georgia. Gee, I have no idea how I earned that one....)

I'm going to finish the second chapter, if not the whole story, tonight and post it ASAP. The whole thing is complete in my head, now I just have to type it out. By the way, for folks on here - if you read it, please do me the favor of reviewing and rating it. Feedback is greatly appreciated and I value your opinions. Hopefully all you Lassie fans out there will like it.

Yeah, some of the ties they have poor Lassiter wear are truly atrocious. Especially the ones with big bold stripes. But then again I'll bet some of that is deliberate. He's a cop, not a fashionista. He probably views them more as a departmental requirement than a fashion accessory. Lassiter needs a make-over by the "Queer Eye For The Straight Guy" folks.

Has anyone ever managed to find some shots of Tim's part (I think it was four episodes) in SeaQuest? I've looked, but can't find any for the life of me (and, yes, I watched and enjoyed the show... at least for the first couple seasons... I've even watched my brother's 1st season DVDs)

I thought I had more than one, but this is the only one I can find at the moment. I may have deleted the others in a computer cleaning frenzy.
