I always love it when they say that Tim added onto what was on the page. Of course he has to to a certain degree based solely on the fact that he's an actor, but more than just making the script come alive, improving it like you said. This episode had a couple of really good choices like that-one being wiping his hand off, and the other being the backwards-step over the chair!

Question for those who read fanfic:

I've been delving into the Psych fancic arena lately looking for a few good reads while waiting until Season 4 starts. Kinda hard to find good, well-written Psychfics that I actually like because I'm not a "shipper" for any of the characters. Basically means about 2/3 of all the Psychfics are ones with elements I will not enjoy. (I am way too picky for my own good.) But I've discovered a term I'm not familiar with, and that term is "whump" or "whumpage". It doesn't appear to mean sexual content, but I still haven't nailed down a definition.

And I'm fairly sure it doesn't mean "a yellow fruit."

"Whump" is not sexual, you are correct... it is usually pain inflicted on the main character (whether pyhsical or emotional). I have never been quite clear exactly the distinction between whumpage and hurt/comfort (though whumpage does not have to have the comfort part) or whumpage and angst... they can be a bit lumped in the same category, or viewed as different sides of the same coin.

As for the rest... check your private messages (No need to respond to me if you don't want, I just wanted to give you some food for thought).

Down with Love. It's shot in a way that the colors are really saturated and so, though you can't really tell in the picture, his eyes are just absolutely to die for!

ACK! How do I not recall him from that movie?! (Granted, it's been five years since I saw it, but still!) Then again, at that time I ws far more interesting in Ewan McGregor and I was (obviously) younger. I have now matured, and thus so have my tastes Not to mention, Lassie came into the scene since then, introducing me to the wonder that really is Tim Omundson (I enjoyed him in Judging Amy, but never noticed much there at the time).

Tim's role in Down With Love was one of those 'blink and you missed it' ones.
Plus, so *not* hot.

That's how I was when I looked at what all Tim's been in on imdb.com. Hell, I even own the movie and I couldn't remember. So I went back and watched it and sure enough, Tim's sitting there with a pipe in hand wearing those awesome Clark Kent glasses and being a publishing exec. The only excuses I can give myself for not noticing are the facts that he's only in a couple of scenes and that the amazing Carlton Lassiter hadn't been around the last time I'd watched it. And, like you, I was a little more caught up in Ewan McGregor at the time. Silly me! Though Ewan's eyes definitely pop in this movie, too. Gorgeous eyes very obviously fall into the "mandatory" column for any guy I may be attracted to.

I have to disagree with your "not hot" assessment. After I re-watched the movie I realized that Tim was the man with the eyes who had caught my eye in the boardroom. I just didn't know who he was at the time. I know many people would not find that particular look attractive, but I have a thing for nerds. Not the same thing I have for detectives who carry guns , but a thing nonetheless. So maybe not "hot," but definitely "attractive" at the very least.

Tim hated Eli's hat, but Rob Tapert loved it. If you watch very closely in The Ides of March Tim is wearing it when he gets captured. In the cells he take it off and puts it in the bag, and then Xena comes in and rescues everyone. And oops, Tim left the bag in the cell! They start filming the next episode, and Rob Tapert tells Tim to put the hat on. And Tim tells him, he left in the cell. Rob, they'll KNOW!

Tim described his role in 'Luck of the Irish' as an evil leprechaun in human form. Like an evil Michael Flatley[Irish dancer] who wants world domination.

Q:Have you ever considered using a pseudonym?
Well, they say that a porn star's name should be the name of your first pet and the street you lived on as a kid. In that case Tim's name would be Pogo 151st Street. If he were to have a pseudonym it would probably be something macho and impressive, like Dirk Steele.

LOL, I kinda like "Pogo 1-5-1"; sounds all code name-y and such. Can't you see Lassie, as a child, playing undercover cop with a walkie talkie... "Dispatch, this is Pogo one-five-one, I have my sights on the suspect, over."

I'm here but not staying. I have a chemistry lab and homework and test due tomorrow. You'd think he'd space things out a little better! Hope somebody shows up to keep you company...

Yeah, but it's very quickly winding down to the end of the semester for most college students. I don't know about anybody else, but most of my very effective studying is done in the middle of the night, so that's where my time's going to have to go for probably the next few weeks.

I study randomly. Whenever my brain tells me it's ready for new info, I get to it! lol!

LOL, sorry, I'm here but not. Reading fic (Dr. Who/Torchwood stuff) and generally ignoring the fact that I *should* be studying...

And if we're gonna bust out the showtunes, I'll warn you that I am quite the fan of Rent (along with other musicals, but Rent's a fav)
