I've always loved how he was just sitting there completely calmly, eating his sandwich. He didn't even seem to react to the first part of her sentence-it's just after she says, "AGAIN!"

Hmm... not sure how I feel about the "little kid" comparison when all I'm doing is focusing on how d*mn sexy those legs are!

Oh, in earlier shots of those legs (like him propping them up on the ledge while eating) had me thinking "sexy!" That particular shot makes me think "aww!" He can elicit so many different reactions in such a short span of time!

You know what? I'm thinking that's what he gets for holding on Lassie for too long! Emilina certainly spends much more time with him this ep than Shawn does...

Actually I'm going to add to this as to why this scene is one of my favorites in the series.

1. Lassiter is suddenly seen by the group as "crushing out" on someone, even though she is absolutely the last person any of them would ever think he would be smitten with. Not only does it add a strange human vulnerability to his character, it's kinda creepy at the same time.

2. He gently strokes her hair because he's mysteriously drawn to her by some unknown attraction, then he.....wipes his hand on the pillow to free himself of some unseen grossness. It's even funnier because, according to the DVD commentary, Tim Omundson improved that. It's damn funny that straight-laced Lassiter is attracted to someone so "hygene challenged".

3. The first thing the object of his affection does as soon as she wakes up is smack him in the face. It's a "Three Stooges" moment, and ya can't beat the Stooges. Ever.
