If the situation was bad enough, anyone would. Even tough guy Lassie! It would be such an interesting concept because not only would the audience see this other side of Lassiter, but Shawn would too.

I'm with you there! I'd love to see either of their reactions if one caused the other to get hurt. You know, one's badly injured because of something the other did. I know it's kind of dramatic for Psych, but even comedies need a good dramatic episode once in a while. It keeps it more reality based.

I agree that dramatic episodes would keep it more reality based. For some reason, I see Lassie being the one hurt by something Shawn did in that type of situation. Like, say, Lassie's chasing someone and Shawn tries to help, even though he was told not to, and Lassie ends up hurt because of it. Although, Lassie could always make a bad decision that spells out bad consequences for Shawn.

It would be more believable if Shawn screwed up and got Lassie hurt. It'd be much for fun to watch too, because then we'd get to see the effect it has on Shawn when he realizes his behavior has consequences.

Oh, definitely. Poor Shawn would be devastated. I can see him trying so hard to make it up to Lassie that he becomes annoying. I can also see a really nice scene where Lassie and Shawn talk and Lassie tells Shawn that he forgives him but to never mention that conversation.

That would be wonderful! I would especially like to see that heart to heart with it being very sincere but then at the end they just have this mutual understanding that the conversation never officially took place. lol! We're writing my dream episode here!

Okay-in all the times I have seen this episode, I have never once watched the look on Gus and Lucinda's faces (obviously, there are other distractions!). But having looked at them now, you know they know something's up! Lucinda looks all sorts of jealous and Gus is just giving her this look like, "Yeah, you'd better be concerned!"

Shules is cute. Shassie is HOT! lol! I like when Shawn and Jules flirt. I think it's funny and sometimes adorable, but it's just nothing compared to the awesomeness that is Shassie!

I would say I think Shules flirting is cute, but that'd be a lie most of the time. I'll admit that on occasion it can be cute, but right now I don't like how Jules has been lately so it mostly just annoys me.

I ship Lassie/Shawn as BFFs. I love their moments together so much.

Of course! I am curious, though. How do you ship Lassie and Shawn as good friends without shipping Shassie? I don't think I've ever found someone who believes/likes the idea of Shawn and Lassiter as friends who doesn't also believe they have crazy amounts of underlying sexual tension that should be acted upon!

I honestly don't know. I see them more as brothers - Lassie, the older, more mature brother and Shawn, the immature, instincts-acting younger brother. I'd love for them to have deep, passionate conversations and share their feelings with each other, then go back to the 'I-Can't-Stand-You-Spencer' 'Dualy-Noted' thing they have. I don't really see anything more than that.

And ships are horrifying. You have to be scared to like two people together because people will RIOT.

I can see them as brothers too. The main reason I am a Shassie fan is because I really like how the two characters play off of each other. A majority of the funny moments in the show (at least to me) occur between the two of them.

There is so much to love about it! I still watch season 1 (and definitely this episode!) quite often.

I definitely agree about a majority of the funny moments occurring between Lassie and Shawn. They play off of each other SO WELL. Whenever they're in a room together, I already start laughing because I know their scene will be awesome.

The show just wouldn't be the same without Tim and James. They have such great chemistry and really make the Lassie/Shawn scenes work.

Very true. All it takes are a couple looks between the two and I'm a goner! I love how they've not been using the completely expected "I hate you, Spencer!" sort of tone so much. It creeps in, but I like how they'll kind of start a scene with the two of them that way, but then it slips into a fairly normal conversation for a little while until something snaps them out of it. The scene that immediately comes to mind is one where Lassiter and Vick had been trying to reach Shawn and Gus for a while but they didn't answer their phones because they were having some sort of movie marathan. And then Lassiter just jumps right in asking about a certain movie. I love seeing development in the relationships on the show.
