I love how he tends to use his facial expressions to show what Lassiter refuses to acknowledge. And it's always so subtle-the mark of a very talented actor!

Obviously it is having a kickass screencapper! Princess we love you and appreciate all you do to provide us with great Tim pics so often.

Well, that and just having such a great guy (Tim, obviously) to discuss!

I love the subtle point to his ear to remind us that he's speaking into her deaf one. Great choice!

Have to note it: Shawn is only the second person he least wants to talk to! Ha!

We've given points for them. We've even given points for how he knows to use them (in re: stepping directly over chairs rather than walking around them). I can look at how many later if you want.

On the deaf ear thing, you'd really think so but honestly my aunt has one and if you do anything short of yelling on that side of her head she will hear none of it! Granted the hearing's starting to go in her other ear too, but I find it a little hard to believe Goochberg only has one bad ear. But your thought's funnier! We'll go with it!

LOL, the ear thing... I'm being trained as an audiologist (hearing doctor)... as long as the room is relatively quiet (like a hospital room) and the hearing is *normal* in the other ear, the person should be able to hear just fine... now, if she has hearing loss in the other ear or there is noise (or other conversations going on)... then, yeah, trouble hearing

I'm all for the pilot... some great scenes there at the end that I'd love to have

"RIGHT HERE YOU IDIOT! *WHAM*" Anyone ever see the movie "The Great Race" with Tony Curtis (playing The Great Leslie) and Jack Lemmon (the bad guy Professor Fate)? If not, that is one of the coolest, funniest satires you'll ever see, and that quote is from the best pie fight EVER! (the *WHAM* is a pie hitting Peter Faulk in the face) If you haven't seen it, do so.

By the way, Jack Lemmon plays the "classic" bad guy, Professor Fate. He's an evil genius, and wears a black suit complete with top hat and curled handle bar moustache. If they ever re-make The Great Race (please, NO!), Tim Omundson should be cast as Professor fate. He'd get to run around and give an evil laugh while twirling the end of his moustache, too.


I just watched the Psyche pilot last night! Great idea for the screencap frenzy.

I thought of another "secret" of ours. Because there are not so many of us posting all the time, we can have actual conversation instead of feeling like we're "talking over" people. The vast majority of posts on here either follow the thread of a conversation already in progress or begin a new one. Most of our posts are not "one-shots."



That would explain why she really never hears anything! She can't be around quiet to save her life! Mostly because we have a large family and hers in particular has never learned the simple beauty of volume control. I hate going out to restaurants with them! Too much loud, public "TMI-ness." Not fun.



Oh, the pilot! I am a fan! Lassie roughing up Shawn as he shoves him into the back of his car ( ) and the first ever interrogation scene! I love it!

I just visited the "James is super hot" thread and posted about this ridiculous "competition" mentality. I was, as always, very polite. I even invited them to join us over here to discuss the show. Let's see what they say over the next few days.

I also love that this thread is more conversational. I don't know about the people y'all know, but most of the people around me like Shawn more. I love Shawn, but I identify with Lassiter. Other people just don't understand that, so I can't really discuss the awesomeness with them that I can with fellow Lassie-lovers!

exactly, acubound. i mean, a bunch of my friends enjoy psych, but considering theyre all guys, theres no way i can discuss my lassie love with them. and ive attempted to get a few of my sisters hooked, but it hasnt caught on yet

Same here. No one understands my love for Lassie. Most people I know like him, but they like Shawn or Gus better. My sister kind of understands, but she's a Gus Gal. My mom hates Lassie! Well, she use to. I've changed her mind about him a bit. She likes Tim a lot though. Her face was hysterical when she watched Luck of the Irish! All she said was, "LASSIE?!" lol! That was a fun day.

I've gotten several hooked, they just don't understand Lassiter like we do!

Opposites certainly can attract. I don't really know, though. I'm much more like Lassiter than I am like Shawn. I have a little bit of Shawn in me, like I figure probably everyone does, but mostly I'm Lassiter. Different for different people, I suppose!
