Hey guys, and now, the latest update on the voices of RAW

"Good 'ol J.R." Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler

Jim Ross was bothered with a bad eye last week. JR injured the eye at the Madison Square Garden RAW, when he worked with Triple H and got potatoed a few year back.

Oh, and here's some good news for all of you fans of Pro Wrestling:

Speaking of WWE announcers, Jerry Lawler has been told to refrain from using the term "puppies."

Well guys, all I can say is this:

Thank GOD we won't have to listen to The King say "puppies" all the time!

Hey, I remember when Victoria and Gail Kim were wrestling one another, alot of the people were chanting We Want Puppies and they got offended!

I'm not a WWE Fan, but I will say this:

Thank You WWE for doing what's right for a change!

I mean, enough is enough!

Hi Bubba here, I got tired of heraring it as well.

Well it was time for a change, now he needs to come up with a new word to call the puppies! biggrin.gif I luv puppies!

I'm tired of Jerry Lawler period.

I'm just bored with him.

I really think the WWE announcing positions need massive massive overhauls just for a refreshing change.

Coach needs to be moved back Executive Assistant. Lawler needs to be moved to SD with Michael Cole. Vince needs to go face, and return to the booth with J.R. on RAW, and just let Shane take over the whole 'Mr. McMahon' thing. The Vince gimmicks haven't gotten beyond boring anyway. The only time it's cool is when it's a flashback feud with someone like Austin.

Anyways, they really need to do something with the analysts. Coach is average, King is overrated, and Tazz is just kind of there. But JR, Michael Cole & Joey Styles are all terrific at their jobs calling the match.

Yea i agree i dont see why People think King is so good, since he has turned into a face announcer especially he just is boring! I would love to see Ric Flair become an announcer! And Vince does need to get off tv! He just needs to let Shane takeover!I have felt shane would be a better chairman and make wwe better!
tnalockdownfan
I agree, I NEVER liked The Mr. McMahon character or his personailty PERIOD!

and plus, when Vince was working under his father, he was an announcer, just like Eric Bischoff was!

I think that Vince needs to let the announcers call matches and NOT TELL STORIES!

I agree, King needs to get off the RAW announce team, or better yet, get out of the WWE and leave these women alone for pete's sake!

I mean, how do you explain Victoria giving King the kick in the crown jewels durinig that 2005 Memorial Day Bikini Contest?

Oh, and here's something that's going to surprise you:

Gail Kim said in an interview that during her time in the WWE, Jerry "The King" Lawler admitted that he never liked Women's Wrestling which exxplains why he always yell puppies!

and plus, she said that when she had her match against Victoria, the WWE fans would chant puppies and they would get offended!

and here's something else:

Goldberg said in an interview that he is tired of seeing 50 year old men w/flabby bodies, which includes Jerry "The King" Lawler!

I mean hey, I was so glad when Booker T. and Sharmell shut-up The King!
Slash
Lawler is boring. Really he sucks at color commentating now.
ratedrko1
Is it me or does Joey Styles SUCK now!!! He sounds so boring now and quiet! And then tazz just laughing and actin a fool!
tnalockdownfan
Well do you remember when he was in the OLD ECW when Paul Heyman ran the company?

Well he said on RAW the night after Backlash that he called matches and LIVE PPV's on his own, no color commentators dragging him, hasn't been done before him and hasn't been done since!

Oh, and Dawn Marie and Mick Foley have did commentary w/Joey Styles!

But when Joey Styles 1st came to the WWE, Vince McMahon had to lecture him about telling stories and not call all the action!

I think that Joey Styles should either do commentary on his own or he should leave the WWE and go back to doing Indy Scenes as an announcer!

and plus, maybe it wasn't such a HOT idea for him to sign a 5 year contract after all!

That's how I see it!

Well here's what I think:

When Jim Ross had to have surgery, while he was gone, Vince McMahon was looking for someone to replace Jim Ross until he came back!

and so, he hired The Coach to be a RAW announcer, that didn't work, then he tried hiring UFC host Mike Goldberg and turned them down (Thank GOD) and then when he hired Joey Styles, Joey and Coach joined The King and Vince had to fuss @ both of them for not telling stories and calling the action!

and so, during an interview, The King said that the reason why Coach didn't stay too long, was b/c the fans were more use to Jim Ross and they didn't accept him as a RAW Announcer!

Which is why he has been doing HEaT especially ever since the Brand Extension Era and plus, Vince made him the Executive Assistant of RAW, but then he was being treated like a dog!
Axl
Vince McMahon actually used to be a fantastic match caller. One of the best... ever imo.

I'd love to see him return to the booth. He & JR had good chemistry, and Vince already had in his mind what needed to be pushed anyways, being the owner, and just was able to keep track of stories & match, and do it with such ease.

He's getting older, and his stories are becoming terrible. I'd love to see Vince return to RAW's booth.

Hey did anyone see No Mercy 2007?

I mean when Lawler went to interview The Glamazon, it seems that he was REAL scared of him, if you don't believe me, then check this out:
