OMG, she is absoutely adorable.

I love Tabbies, and long haired tabbies are adorable.

Topicwise: I believe someone mentioned Men's Warehouse, i think Bobby would shop there. They seem very clean cut--fits the first 3 seasons well.

Seems like he started losing his style from the 4th season and onward.

But I had to go to Office Depot to buy a $200 monitor today after mine just decided not to work.

Then my mom bribed me to do family stuff by buying me a Dress Barn dress and she told me I had to buy shoes...which I bought at Shoe Carnival.

Not a bad day of shopping!

Eames would shop Target, of course, for the most part and possibly JC Penneys or Fashion Bug for the remainder of her clothes. Due to his height, Bobby would need a speciality shop for his suits, I would think -

Eames mentioned shopping at the London Limited on that one show. She must shop a bit stylish for some of her jackets and pants especially in the first seasons. Perhaps a petite store of some kind.

The wardrobe items that they sell on ebay are just sized as generic XL. Maybe Bobby shops at more mundane shops.

I bought two cheesy beefy melts at Taco Bell today, and got my hair cut.

I think Goren mihgt go to the UK for his ties.. Tie Rack perhaps?
Eames... not sure but she seems to have a good sense of style.
Although I have noticed that they seem to dress more and more casually throughout the years.

Ooh, I love kitties! Macy is adorable! My kitty died and I have never gotten a new one. But now I have this stray that comes by and I bought cat food to feed it. My neighbor is feeding it too. She's really pretty and doesn't look like a stray.

OT: I think Bobby shops for clothes at JC Penny's or Big and Tall and Alex shops at any place trendy yet inexpensive.

My kitty died almost 2 years ago, and i haven't gotten another one. He was my baby, i had him for almost 15 years. =[

I could totally see Goren doing Sharper Image...all those cool gadgets. Also a good cooking supply store, with fancy knives and such. Also, Possibly an out-of-the-way old, used book store...and definatley a Borders, Barnes & Noble or similar book store.
As for his suits, he was probably helping out his mom money-wise and time-wise and so not paying as much attention to his wardrobe.
I did always wonder why the woman detectives can wear laid back clothing and the men wear suits and ties. It is nice to see them in uniform, and dressed nicely...but cool to see them in street clothing as well.
Eames would also be checking out the baby or kids stores...maybe Babies-r-us or Kids-r-us...she does have a nephew to spoil!
Tonight I bought veggeis: cukes, peppers, brocolli, califlower, fresh mushrooms, grape tomatoes and baby carrots....some fruit: bananas, oranges, green grapes, apples...coffee and 2 kinds of flavored creamers since they were on sale, body wash and a boxed set of Law & Order SVU season 4.

Hey I have a widescreen monitor and I love it! Heh heh... no more Horde blindsiding me, I SEE ALL!!! Seriously though, for a Photoshop addict like me, it's great having the extra workspace.


At least Eames hasn't fallen into the "Benson" wardrobe. They found a good look for her way back in the day and stuck to it like GLUE. Tight fitting high neck top, dark slim pants, leather jacket. They seem to have rarely deviated from that formula over the years until more recently.

Eames: Target, Kohls, H&M, a few specialty stores for nicer items.
Goren: Big & Tall, Men's Wearhouse, online shops.

I don't see Goren so much as a Sharper Image type of guy, he doesn't strike me as the tech gadget type. If I went to his place, I'd expect to see a sextant and an astrolabe before a fancy GPS device. I guess he just seems more retro to me. I'm a gadget freak, so I do tend to know my own so to speak...

Ok just got back from Urologist, and he did a Cath Urinaliysis and I have an infection, so I am on med and have to go back in a week, so now going to Grocery Store, will have report when I come back, Oh and speaking of back, all that messaging from Goren and Lupo helped, but still in pain, so might take me awhile to get back. I think I need MORE INTENSE message, maybe Hot Oil or some Hot Choco Syrup,

Oh well back from the store, are we still telling what we bought? Well main thing was I wanted my Mango chips, I am addicted, but they say you get a serving of fruit in ever serving, but my bill was $90, so got other things too, back is still killing my daughter had to do all manual labor, going back and lay down with heating pad again. Oh and at $3.09 a gallon $35 to fill up my Malibu,so sad.

MANGO chips? Interesting..have you ever tried the Dill Pickle chips? Those things are crazy---taste like pickles in a chip form!

I just filled up my little chevy Cavalier at 3.59 9/10 a gallon, i didnt even wanna continue fillin so i stopped at 42 dollars, it scared me.

In Badge, the woman basically calls him a "spender" saying he spends money on nice suits, good food for dates, and all his hobbies. I know he makes a pretty good salary, first grade detectives are the highest paid in the NYPD, so it seems like he should have more money than he does.

Where do you think they grocery shop? A big imporium where they stock up, or day by day stuff at the local bodega?

I wonder about the grocery shopping in the City its not like they have Big Grocery stores, Don't they have like Meat Markets, Fruit and Veg stands, Then the Drug store? Hey New Yorkers fill us in.

I don't know I don't grocery ship in the City. I just go to Walmart super store or the Grocery store.

Their store in Calgary is closing in Aug, which makes me sad. But when downtown rents triple in a year, independent bookstores have a tough time of it...

As for shopping, I had some Lebanese food (and coffee) on St Patrick's Day. If you want to be up for several hours, forget espresso, have this stuff! I rarely even drink caffeine except for tea, so I was up for quite a while... To bring the topic back to clothes, I just recently got two skirts at Sears for 30, and what I was looking for was on sale, which was good.

I'm willing to bet that Bobby has a tailor (an older gentleman) in the old neighborhood who does his suits for him. It would be just like him to look out for someone like that. Eames keeps her eyes open and gets great deals wherever she happens to be.

I would also bet that Bobby knows the location of every used bookstore in town/burbs. I don't really see him at a chain business - they wouldn't typically have "on the shelf" the type of books he would be looking for. I see slightly-musty first edition semi-leather bound books on his shopping list.

Actually the only kind I could get was the ONLY non-widescreen since my computer is 4 years old. Kinda nice, because it ended up being the cheapest that way. The guy said people like the widescreen monitors because the brain tricks us into thinking we have more room that way.

This one actually looks weird being a flat SQUARE. But I like it! Makes me feel like I have a whole new computer!

I hear ya. I still had a gi-nor-mous monitor from around 1995 until a couple days ago. (The CPU was worse, it went up way past my knees and I had no leg room when I had it under my desk. Also, the memory was full and I could barely run the internet. Used that until 2004. I almost miss it)

It's nice. I can finally fit my keyboard AND mouse on my desk now!

I'm with you, Jryan, in that both Bobby & Alex would shop in a few Manhattan based stores that they liked. Huge stores like Target, Sears, JCPenney don't really exist in Manhattan. I can see both of them going into Macy's for some clothing. The quality is excellent, the prices reasonable for NYC & it's centrally located in midtown.

I think Bobby has a small men's store & tailor that he likes, located in Manhattan's garment district. I can see Eames' doing some shopping on line, as she's an easy size.

But those horrible jeans Goren wore in "Untethered" are definitely a Sears or Walmart special.

Reminds me of the Sears "Toughskins" jeans that we had to buy for my little brother cuz he'd wear out the knees and those jeans had the reinforced knees with the pads sewn on them...... I can easily see Bobby and Frank having been that kind of kid.....poor Frances!

Good one, flashy! Those jeans are exactly what I was thinking of too! Really cheap looking, stiff & shiny, with the bright white threading & very dark navy blue color.

Maybe Frances bought them for him as a child, and he bought himself a pair as a reminder of his mom? People do stuff like than when they are grieving.

And all the boys thought they were so cool! Then, Gloria Vanderbilt came along with her "swan" pocket jeans and the whole world of jeans changed......you weren't cool in junior high without at least one pair of Gloria's jeans, and a pair of Jordache jeans.......

I bought a 22" Acer widescreen. It's nice.

Back ON topic: Do Bobby and Eames have computers at home? If so, where do you think they got them? I bet Eames has a laptop and Bobby has an old dinosaur PC.

The Son and I went shopping at the mall today. I got a great Easter outfit and 2 shirts from Christopher and Brooks. The Son got 2 shirts from J.C.Penney (on sale!), and 2 shorts and 2 shirts from Dillard's. It was fun spending time with him, however, he's not feeling so well this afternoon and has started running a low-grade fever. He's supposed to sing a solo in church tomorrow, too...... to feeling poorly!

Maybe he is nervous. I used to get like that when i was younger--i kinda grew out of it.

or maybe he is just sick.

I hope he isn't the same tailor that Joey went to on Friends! The one he sent Chandler to and then found out that "cupping" was not a part of measuring for pants!
