Hey guys, listen to this:
- The reason as to why Finlay attacked Mr. Kennedy on Raw this past week was that Kennedy can be absent from television for the next few weeks. The absence allows Kennedy to go to Puerto Rico to be apart of a movie project. I believe it is a straight to DVD release.
Austin’s version of the story called for Flair to go on a big winning streak that would conclude at WrestleMania 24, but he did not have an opponent in mind for Flair’s final match. He also did not pitch himself as being involved in any part of the story line. Austin made a few additional suggestions, but he primarily came up with the general idea and did not have a detailed idea for pay-per-view matches or feuds.
The idea Steve Austin pitched to Vince McMahon for Ric Flair’s retirement, McMahon loved the idea. He was initially very excited about it and instructed Raw head writer Brian Gewirtz to get started on it immediately.
Unfortunately, Gewirtz is not a Flair fan. He grew up a fan of the old WWF product and never developed an appreciation for Flair’s work during his formative years. Gewirtz pushed the project to the back burner until Austin contacted McMahon and asked for an update. Vince checked with Gewirtz and was upset when he learned that the project hadn’t received much attention, because it embarrassed him with Austin when he had to pass along an update.
It’s also worth noting that Gewirtz and Austin do not have a good rapport, which led to speculation within the company that Gewirtz was in no rush to put the story line in motion because it was Austin’s idea.
The angle became completely derailed when Flair left the company out of frustration with his push and being moved to Smackdown. One source speculates that Flair may have been told about the angle in the early stages and may have been frustrated because the story line had not been launched by the time he went on hiatus.

Here's an idea... fire Gewitz.
I know if I was Vince McMahon and geninuely loved Austin's ideas, then told Gewitz to do something with them, but he didn't because he doesn't like Flair or Austin, i'd fire him on the spot.
Something tells me this is BS. This sounds like 13-year old school yard stuff.

^^^^^^ Yea they need to fire Gewirtz
Flair should have been the main guy since december! He should be main eventing everything!
But i hate when people do get upset about being drafted to SD,they need to look at it as an opportunity to become THE MAN and be the top guy there because raw is gonna be HHH and Cenas show but on SD all the guys share the main event spots and get along. But yea flair deserved better!

Hey, when Booker T. was in the WWE, he said that he liked being on SD! b/c it was about opportunity, but when he and his wife moved to RAW, they didn't like it!
and plus, the SD! Locker Room hates Batista and Matt Striker!
and you're right!
RAW is all about Triple H, HBK and John Cena....and Vince!
Oh, and when London & Kendrick were on SD! they held the Tag Team Titles for almost a year!
and I also think that they should move L&K back to SD!
Brock Lesnar was on SD! b/c it was all about opportunity!
and here's somethinge else:
Kurt Angle said that the reason why he went to SD! and won the World Heavyweight Championship after Batista surrendered it to Teddy Long was b/c Shawn Michaels didn't want to go to SD!
and plus, Paul Heyman said that the reason he was WWE Heavyweight Champion for a year was b/c Triple H didn't want to work on SD!
and now, the WWE Heavyweight Title is on RAW and the World Heavyweight Title is on SD!

Yea to me,SMACKDOWN is the show to be because the guys on Smackdown get better oppurtunitys then on raw! And i will say SMACKDOWN creates stars...CARLITO,MR. KENNEDY, BRIAN KENDRICK AND PAUL LONDON,MELINA,PAUL BURCHILL,JOHN CENA....Then they go to Raw and SMACKDOWN gets Screwed! And Some of them get on raw and get held down! When Kendrick and london were on SD they were THE BEST TAG TEAM,now we never see them on Raw!I hate how SMACKDOWN is treated 2nd class!...Who has been made a star on RAW? You could say Orton and Batista but even they came from SMACKDOWN!

Now I agree with you about that!
I mean, ever since Edge cameback from an injury
SD! was all about Vickie Guerrero!
and also, SD! had London & Kendrick, Mr. Kennedy and Jillian Hall and they're all fighting for the spotlight!
London & Kendrick did win the WWE World Tag Team Titles in South Africa against Cade & Murdoch, but only for a day!
I think that SD! needs to go back to being a WRESTLING Program and NOT like RAW and that's what Vince McMahon wanted to do, and that was turn SD! into RAW b/c most of the SD! Wrestlers went to RAW!

Now i do like the draft but i wish BIGGER Names would go to SD!
If i was in WWE I would rather be on SMACKDOWN!
I think Raw should be the only one with all the backstage stuff and crazy storylines but let SMACKDOWN be more serious and more wrestling, like ecw now is just wrestling and no B.S. like on raw,its just straight wrestling and sometimes they have some good matches,i mean that tag team title match this past week on ecw alone blew the WHOLE 3 HOUR RAW AWAY!

Well here's something else:
Did you know that RAW now has ALL of the Traditional WWE Titles?
Well it's true, they have the following:
WWE Heavyweight Title
WWE World Tag Team Titles
WWE I-C Heavyweight Title
WWE Women's Title
and also, SD! has the WCW Titles:
World Heavyweight Title
SD! World Tag Team Titles
WWE U.S. Heavyweight Title
Oh, and just so you know:
RAW had a STRONGER Women's Division in 2002-2004, but now, RAW's Women's Division is a mess!
and WCW tried to have a Women's Division but failed miserably!
WCW also had 2 Women's Titles:
WCW Women's Heavyweight Title
WCW Women's Cruiserweight Title
But when Madusa was injured, she was forced to retire and then, came the Nitro Girls on WCW Monday Nitro!

It's not surprising Raw has all the traditional titles...they are suppose to be the flagship brand. It'd be pretty stupid putting someone else's stuff on your best product and then put your own stuff on an inferior product.

Well you have your flagship brand Raw. They are suppose to be the best (superstars, storylines, special events, titles, etc). So if you want to put the best titles on Raw, would you put the titles you've had for so long, or would you put the ones you had to buy from WCW and whoever. Of course you'll want to use your own titles because if you don't then people will think that WWF's titles that they had all sucked if you put them on a lesser brand.

Really how stupid do you have to be to neglect RIC FLAIR'S retirement. Especially with SCSA, one of the most liked and popular superstars ever, pushing an idea. Really the guy should just get fired, i wouldn't want someone with that stupidity writing for my company.

Actually, the WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE that Edge is holding now has more history then the wwe title, the wwe title was created in 1963...but even thought the WHT is new in the wwe, being introduced in 2002,''THE BIG GOLD BELT'' goes all the way back to 1904,it was used in NWA,WCW,and now WWE.Its new to the WWE,its got more history then the WWE Heavyweight title, even WWE.COM acknowledges it!

And that exactly proves my point. My point isn't use the oldest belt, it's use the belt that WWE created. And despite it having less prestige and history, it still is used on Raw and rightfully so.

Well I like the World Heavyweight Championship!
The WWE Heavyweight Championship has lost interest b/c it has become the spinner title!
I also like the SD! World Tag Team Titles as well!
It was also held by The World's Greatest Tag Team and even Los Guerreros!
and that's b/c SD! had some great competition and new stars as well!
The Heavyweight Division was solid, the Tag Team Division was great, the Cruiserweight Division was AWESOME, but they had a less Women's Division, but they did have a great rivalry between 2 of my favorites:
Torrie Wilson and Dawn Marie!
Now SD! was good, but now it's just plain ridiculous!

Yea i agree with that descison because Raw is the flagship, its seen by more people and the wwe title is the Original wwe title...But i would still perfer the World Heavyweight Title! If i was a wrestler
