it was stopped by members of the USA network. Kind of quite comical, if you really think about it.

Johnny tried so many things and all the USA network people said was "it's cancelled" and it ended.

I will miss the show.

USA Network has shown total disregard for the viewers of its shows. It has now taken the link to the TDZ page off it's series tab on it's site and regulated this TDZ forum to the very bottom of the forum list. They screwed the fans by not giving us a final season of a show that was returning to form, and now continue to show disregard to the fans and to the show that helped to establish their network years ago.

It's best to bookmark this forum because I'm sure it will be going bye-bye at some point too. Were we screwed? Oh you bet we were! mad.gif Not even a freakin little movie to wrap it up. Instead we got a silly sixth season that showed too many eps of Sarah pouting or acting like some rebellious teenager. I would've thought it more justice if Sarah herself would have found (hinted at by John, of course) the papers that would have incriminated Stillson to all of this silliness and brought him down and arrested as a suspect in the attempted murder of Purdy and murder of Walt Bannerman!!

Seriously! I went to look at one of their episode guides because I was explaining an episode to someone and couldn't remember a lot of the episodes this season and lo and behold I couldn't find them anymore. :/ At first I didn't really care that it had been cancelled since the last couple seasons haven't been up to par with the first 2 or even 3, but the more time that passes the more frustrated I get that we didn't get an ending. I KEPT watching for 3 seasons just because I had grown attached to the characters and really wanted to know how the story ended, only to be left in the dark. Arg. Oh well. It just makes me sad. sad.gif

They do still have the guide up. I found it when I logged on. Here is a the website addy:

The way this show was going it almost makes me thing Walt was the intended hero. I mean it explains the "why" of Johnny's accident: so Walt can enter the picture with John pointing the direction to stop Stillson. Walt made more head-way in getting to Janus than Purdy or John ever did. It makes one wonder that should John have told Sarah the truth about the circumstances of Walt's death and his father that maybe ultimately Sarah will bring down Stillson. Not necessarily John. But Walt's investigation and death would be necessary in order to show that Stillson set up John to go after Walt just like in "Scars" he set John up to flush out Fisher's secret...or so Stillson claims.

Does anyone think that they will say anything about how they would have ended the show in the DVD extras? It would be a great thing if they did, but I hardly think we would be so lucky. dry.gif
