Chapter 1 - The Beginning

Olivia sat at her desk getting frusterated. she stared at a case file that they've been working on and she cant even understand the first sentence. Elliot tapped a pencil on the edge on his desk while he leaned back in his chair, and watched her. Fin and Munch taped up pictures and wrote down information on the clear board. They were at this case for four days straight. Elliot and Olivias desks were covered with papers and case files that you couldnt even see the line that seperated them. Elliot was offically devorced with kathy and olivia knew it. he couldnt see his kids unless kathy felt like taking them to see him. which happened to stop after awhile. Cragen came out of his office and stood at the doorway with his hands in his pockets, just watching everyone work. Olivia finally noticed him standing there.
Olivia: hey captain, whats up?
everyone looked up at him.
Captain: just wanted to see how everythings going. you guys get any more information on our kiddie porn pedofile?
they put there eyes back on the case.
Munch: well we got one guy, eddie gonzales.
Fin: he was arrested for child molestation and second degree murder.
fin took his picture and taped it to the board. they looked at it.
Munch: yeah and he likes his victims between 6 to 8 years old.
Olivia: who called him in?
she got up and stood next to elliot. they were all standing in a group in front of the board.
Fin: narcotics did.
Elliot: he was doing drugs?
Fin: more like dealin it.
fin taped up another picture of eddie. he was dealing drugs on a street corner that a street camera caught. elliot leaned on the edge of olivias desk and crossed his arms. Liv turned around and grabbed a casse file, opened it and read it to herself.
Olivia: well it says here that he went into rehab for that.
she pointed at the sentence she read then looked back up at fin. elliot looked over her shoulder and read it.
Elliot: it also says that he has no prior records of taking therapy or any pshyciatric help.
Olivia: so he was bailed out.
Munch: or he escaped.
Liv and elliot looked at eachother with questioned looks.

Chapter 2- Daddy

Elliot and Olivia were in the car speeding downtown to a place in Rikers. When elliot pulled the car up to the curb and stopped, olivia pulled out her gun and pointed it at the building as she got out with him. It was a two story house. They walked to the door. elliot took her advice and got out his gun too. he knocked on the door as olivia screamed.
Olivia: Sir, this is the N.Y.P.D.! were just here to ask you some questions.!
A gun shot went off in the house. They ducked and looked at eachother with worry. elliot busted down the door with his foot and ran inside. olivia fallowed behind, peeking around every corner like he did. They split apart, olivia in the right room, elliot in the left. she walked in and saw a little girl tied to a bed post, crying and screaming under the tape on her mouth.
Olivia: elliot, in here.!
She pulled the tape off, then started untying the girls hands from the post. The rope came off easily, but the one around her feet didnt. Liv talked to her while she struggled with the knot.
Olivia: hey, sweetie. me and my partner are here to help you ok?
The little girl nodded in agreement and calmed down from crying. now she just stuttered as she took deep breaths, watching olivia. elliot came to the door of the room they were in. he stopped without entering inside.
Elliot: liv, we've got a problem.
she looked up at him with a questioned look on her face.
Olivia: what is it?
Elliot: our perps been shot.
Olivia: is there any evidence?
Elliot: just the gun.
Olivia: so whats the problem?
Elliot: he was also our victim.
Olivia sighed in disgust. she finally got the rope untied. The little girl came up and hugged her. she held on as liv stood up next to elliot. he called in for a bus on his walkie talkie. they went out to the living room and sat down. elliot walked into the room with the dead perp. he searched for some evidence while liv asked the girl some questions. the little girl sat on olivias lap, looking down at her hands.
Olivia: hi, my names olivia. whats your name?
the little girl didnt say anything. she turned her head and looked at the doorway that lead to the room elliot was in. she turned back and looked at liv.
Little girl: who is that man?
Olivia: thats my partner, elliot. He's trying to find out who did this to you.
Little girl: i like his glasses.
Olivia: well ill tell you what, if you tell me your name then ill let you play with those sunglasses, ok?
Little girl: ok.!
a smile crept on both there faces.
Olivia: ok. wait here and ill go get them.
the little girl nodded and got up. she sat down again as olivia walked into the room where elliot was. olivia looked down at the perp.
Olivia: ouch.! looks like he has bruse marks everywhere.
elliot was still looking at the perp.
Elliot: he does, and guess what?
Olivia: what?
Elliot: missing package.
Olivia: well, atleast we know he can't rape anymore children.
Elliot: yeah.
they both chuckled. she looked up at him.
Olivia: can i borrow your sunglasses?
he took them off and handed them to her.
Elliot: yeah, why?
Olivia: i made her a deal that she could wear these if she told me her name. she likes them.
olivia let out a small, but loud, laugh.
Elliot: what? are they that bad?
Olivia: worse than that shirt you were wearing yesterday.
she took the glasses while smiling. then turned and walked out.
Elliot: wait, you didnt like my shirt?
he smiled at himself and looked down at the perp. he searched for more evidence. meanwhile, liv sat on the couch. the little girl jumped up on her lap. olivia handed her the sunglasses. the little girl smiled as she put them on.
Olivia: so sweetheart, can you tell me your name?
Little girl: tabitha, but my daddy calls me tabby.
Olivia: ok well, do you know who did this to you?
Tabitha slid off livs lap and went to the mirror in the corner of the room. she started to pretend she was holding a microphone, and she hummed a song. she resented to answering the question. liv just smiled at her. but when she stopped humming, she skipped over to the couch next to olivia. she took off the sunglasses and put them on livs leg.
Tabitha: tell daddy he can have these back.

Chapter 3- S.P.S

olivia picked up the glasses off her legs and held them tightly. Tabitha went infront of elliot and looked at him. she put her fingers on his face. a pointer finger on each cheek. she pushed up and made it look like he had a big smile. she brung her hands to her mouth and giggled. elliot and olivia laughed with her. the bus showed up and so did Dr. Warner.
Dr. Warner: hey guys.
Olivia: hey.
Dr. Warner: care to show me where the body is?
Olivia: sure.
she looked at elliot with a smile and quickly stood up and walked into the room with warner. Tabitha sat down next to elliot. elliot knew he had to get her down to the precinct somehow, so he tried.
Elliot: hey tabitha, why dont me and olivia take you down to our precinct with us.
Tabitha: what do you do there?
Elliot: well, we have to do our jobs, but we have a room full of toys for you.
Tabitha: really?
Elliot: yeah. you wanna come with?
tabitha nodded with a smile. elliot grew a smile also as he stood up off the couch.
Elliot: alright, let me go liv ok? you stay right here.
Tabitha: ok.
elliot walked into the room with the dead perp. he stood right next to liv, who was crouching by the body across from warner. she stood up and looked at him.
Olivia: hows it going out there with her?
Elliot: she wants to come down to the precinct with us.
Olivia: howd you get her to do that?
he shrugged
Elliot: told her there was a room full of toys with her name on it.
Olivia: alright then, lets go.
they came into the living room where she was dancing in circles. she stopped when she saw them.
Tabitha: mommy.!
she ran up to liv with open arms and gave her legs a hug. olivia looked over at elliot with a confused face, and put her hand on tabbys back.
Elliot: you ready?
Tabitha: yeah.
Olivia: ok, lets go.
they got down to the precinct without any words spoken. when they brung her into the squad room she went up to munch right aways.
Tabitha: hi im tabby.
Munch: hi, im detective munch.
she went up to fin next. she stared at the slinky that he had in his hands. fin got a smile on his face when she did this for a while. he handed it to her.
Fin: here, you can have it. and im fin.
Tabitha: im tabby.
she accepted the slinky.
Tabitha: thanks.
Fin: no problem.
she ran back to elliot and olivia, who were already sitting down at there desks searching through papers. she stood there and played with the slinky. she stopped after a little and walked over to olivia. she tapped on her leg. liv bent down so she could whisper in her ear. her head facing elliot. tabby cuffed her hands around her mouth and livs ear so no one else can see what she was saying.
Tabitha: wheres the play room?
liv smiled as they switched hand gestures.
Olivia: you can go play, but i have something better. we can draw on munch over there.
she pointed to munch who was laying all the way back in his chair, fast asleep and snoring. Tabitha looked at munch and brung her hands up to her mouth to laugh. elliot looked at them with a smile. he thought to himself. there both so beautiful. he gathered his thoughts and started focusing on work again. but he couldnt help but watch, so he did. liv stood up and grabbed a sharpie marker off her desk. they walked over to munch. liv picked up tabby and held her while she opened the marker. she gave it to tabby and they put it against his forehead. liv held her hand while they, together, wrote LOSER on munchs head. fin leaned over his desk.
Fin: Loser. alright, nice.!
he gave tabby a high five, and she returned it. munch suddenly got startled and quickly shook awake in his chair. liv and tabby ran for it. back to her desk. liv sat down and tabby sat on her lap before munch could even focus his eyes and relize they were there. he got up and got himself some coffee. fin laughed as munch sat down and took a sip from his mug. he put it down on his desk.
Munch: you know, theres a pill for obsessive laughing now.
Fin: yeah, but atleast i aint stupid enough to be a loser.
Munch: what are you talking about?
Fin: dont worry, youll figure it out.
munch layed back in his chair again. in no time he was passed out and snoring. captain cragen came out and stood there with his hands in his pockets.
Elliot: hey, whats up, cap?
Captain: i was wondering the same thing. who did that?
captain walked over to munch and looked at his forehead. then back at the rest of them.
Olivia: oh, me and tabby did.
Captain: alright, good job. and why isnt tabby in the interogation room being questioned right now?
Elliot: got it.
elliot and olivia got up and took tabby into the play room so they could atleast make her feel comfy. she ran inside and started playing with the toys. they all stopped outside to talk.
Wuang: what was she like when you asked her questions earlier? did she seem tired or moody?
Elliot: no not when i talked to her. what about you liv?
Olivia: nope, she wasnt like that with me either. she was just the opposite. but she did call elliot daddy and me mommy.
Wuang: did she greet you right away?
Olivia: yeah, she gave me a hug.
Wuang: she has SPS. selective parent syndrome.
Elliot: in english.
Wuang: she not got enough love from her parents, so the next couple she meets, she treats them as her new parents. calling them mom and dad, and loving them unconditionally.
Olivia: and we were that next couple.

Chapter 4- Family

They entered the room with tabitha. she ran up to elliot and olivia and hugged them.
Tabitha: mommy.! daddy.!
she let go and ran back to the coloring book on the table, and started coloring.
Wuang: let me talk to her for a little. i wanna see how she interacts with someone new.
liv nodded her head in agreement and they left. standing on the opposite side of the glass. watching and listening to her words and movement. wuang greeted her with a handshake. but she denied it. still coloring in the book. wuang took a seat across from her.
Wuang: hi im dr. wuang.
Tabitha: hi.
Wuang: what are you coloring?
Tabitha: my mommy and daddy.
Wuang: and who is this?
he pointed to a drawing of a little blonde haired girl that looked just like tabby.
Tabitha: thats me.
Wuang: and is that your house?
Tabitha: no, thats the precinct. where mommy and daddy work.
Wuang: were you ever there before?
Tabitha: duh, silly. like a couple minutes ago.
Wuang: how are you feeling right now?
Tabitha: i dont know.
Wuang: can you draw me a picture of what you think you look like right now?
he handed her a blank piece of paper and a box of crayons. she picked out a yellow one and drew a smiley face on the paper.
Wuang: your happy. why do you think your so happy?
Tabitha: because mommy and daddy love me. and there goona take me home so that the family is safe again.
liv looked at elliot. he was still looking through the glass.
Olivia: so what are we goona do?
Elliot: ask her more questions, she if she knows anything about our perp.
Olivia: i meant about the family thing, el. shes attached to us like were her parents.
just then wuang walked into the room with them.
Elliot: so?
Wuang: well, she seems desperatly attached. and the only way to keep her from going insane is to give her what she wants. if not, i can tell you now, that she wont be able to help with our case at all.
Elliot: so we have to be her parents to get answers.
Wuang: yeah. and when you do you cant fight with eachother. atleast not infront of her.
Olivia: why not?
Wuang: she can feel negative energy. she can tell when someone is sad or depressed, and when she knows she will carry on that feeling.
Olivia: so she'll have the same feelings as what were feeling.
Wuang: most likely.
Elliot: how long do we have till she needs us?
Wuang: in there, not very long. id say atleast half an hour.
Olivia: ill go notify the captain.
olivia left the room, closing the door behind her. she turned the corner and knocked on cragens door.
Captain: come in.
Olivia: hey, cap.
Captain: olivia, hows the case with our victim?
Olivia: the doc. says she needs parents.
Captain: so find her some.
Olivia: we cant cap. she already chose me and elliot. and the wuang said the only way to get answers from her is to give her what she wants.
Captain: well, take the rest of the day off with elliot. you guys are now reassigned as this girls parents.
Olivia: thanks captain.
she turned around and headed for the door. she stopped in the doorway when she heard captains voice again. she turned to look at him.
Captain: olivia.!
Olivia: yeah?
Captain: dont get caught up in this whole family thing. i want you both here tomarrow on schedule.
Olivia: no problem, cap. see ya.
Captain: ok.
olivia shut the door and walked into the room with tabitha and elliot.
Olivia: ready tabby, were going home.
Tabitha: is daddy comming too?
Olivia: yup, daddys comming too.
they all walked out to the precinct to get there coats. munch watched them walk around, and he knew he had to make a smart remark.
Munch: so, i can see the circus is finally heading home. by the way, thanks for the loser sign. atleast i know im not pshycotic to you guys.
he leaned his head forword, making his glasses slide down off his nose a little so he could look over top of them. he stared at elliot. hoping to get an answer.
Elliot: dont look at me, that was her.
he pointed to liv, who was holding tabby and ready to leave.
Munch: oh really?
Olivia: now you know, never fall asleep in dads house.
Munch: dont worry, ill keep that in mind.
she laughed. fin turned to look at them before they left.
Fin: so where you guys goin?
Elliot: home.
he turned and walked out the door, fallowing liv and tabby. he waved his keys at them, as though to say bye. fin turned his confused look over to munch.
Fin: home? what ya think he meant by that?
munch shrugged his shoulders, and went back to work. fin eyed the door. still curious.

Chapter 5- A Moment

They got to livs house. elliot parked the car and jogged around it to open the door for her and tabby, but they were already out. he fallowed them up the stairs to her apartment. she unlocked the door and swung it open. banging it against the wall. flicking on the lightswitch they walked in, tabby running and cannon balling onto the couch. she streched out on her back. elliot noticed and ran over to tickle her. olivia put her purse down on the counter and quickly ran over to help. the tickling sent tabby into a laughing fit. they blew on her stomach. making silly fart noises, which got her really pooped out from giggling so much. they stopped after she started dozing off. liv went into the closet and brought out a blanket and a pillow. she put the blanket on her while elliot adjusted the pillow from the couch. they stepped back and watched her sleep for a while.
Olivia: shes so adorable.
Elliot: yeah.
elliot checked his watch.
Elliot: well, its 9:53. wanna hit the hay?
Olivia: i dont have any hay.
he looked at her and they laughed. quiet enough not to wake up tabby.
Elliot: well then do you want to catch some shut-eye?
Olivia: yeah.
elliot went to curl up on the sofa but liv grabbed his arm before he even finished his step.
Olivia: you can sleep in my room tonight, you know?
Elliot: yeah. ok, sure. but, why? scared of the boogey monster?
liv chuckled and hit him over the head with the pillow she was still holding.
Olivia: no. i just dont want you to wake her. she looks so peaceful.
elliot had the pillow now and was about to take revenge. but tabby switched positions to her side. elliot and olivia darted for her bedroom. they closed the door and leaned against it, breathing heavily. neither one of them wanted her to wake up.
Olivia: close one.
Elliot: tell me about it.
he took the pillow and hit her with it. he laughed. she gave a suprized look and chuckled in a way that said oh no you didnt.! she ran over to her bed and swiped up her pillow. she came back and hit him in the stomache. they laughed and ran around the room having a pillow fight. elliot was trapped on one side of the bed. liv on the opposite side, ready to hit him. she jumped up on the bed but her foot caught the side and she ended up face first in her sheets. she rolled on her back and bursted into tears of laughter. she let the pillow flop onto her face and lay there. elliot jumped on the bed, sending her inches into the air. she grabbed his legs and pulled him down. they layed there cracking up. they finally calmed themselves down after a little while. olivia got up and let the pillow sit on the bed.
Olivia: well, im goona go get changed. you can just change in here if you want.
Elliot: ok.
liv opened her draw, grabbed a pair of boxers and a plain white cami. she went into the bathroom. elliot quickly got up and yanked his pants and shirt off. he fixed the sheets and blanket on the bed and threw his pillow on the floor. he layed on the carpet, staring at the bathroom door. watching the shadows that came out from the space at the bottom. liv came out and didnt even relize he was there. she took a step and tripped right over him. causing her to land on him and her dirty clothes sprinkled on the floor. face to face, she couldnt help but look him in the eyes.

haha. ouch.! i believe thats a cliff hanger right there. sorry but it was tempting. but dont worry, i will post the next chapter later.

Chapter 6- Time

she stared him in the eyes and took a deep breath, trying not to get lost in them.
Elliot: gotcha.!
Olivia: el.!
her jaw dropped open in suprise. she smiled and got up.
Olivia: how bout we get some sleep?
Elliot: sure.
liv got in bed and they fell asleep almlost right as they hit the pillow. elliot was sound asleep on the floor until he jumped when liv screamed. he ran up to her with a confused look. and he couldnt hold back the hug he wanted to give her.
Elliot: liv what is it?
Olivia: its just a nightmare, im fine.
Elliot: what was it about?
Olivia: just things.
he let go of her and headed for the floor. she grabbed his arm and pulled him back. she made a dog-pout face to him, and he can never deny it.
Olivia: stay.
he smiled and nodded an ok. he grabbed his pillow and got in. liv fell asleep but she was shivering and had goosebumps. elliot could easily see this since he was wide awake. he got close and put his arm around her. she immediatly stopped shaking. he finally got some sleep that night. in the morning, liv woke up first. batting her eyes then turning over to smile at elliot sleeping and wrapped around her. she didnt want to move but they had work today. she got up and went in her draws to get some clothes. she went in the bathroom, changed, did her make-up, and came back out looking refreshed. she went out to the kitchen to cook some breakfast. passing tabby she smiled. tabby still asleep on the couch, completly covered with blankets. liv got a wierd feeling about this so she went over to check on her. sitting on the edge of the couch, she pulled back the blanket. tabby wasnt there. she panicked and went to elliot, screaming.
Olivia: elliot, el, el, wake up, tabbys gone.!
she shook him till he woke up. he groaned and wiped his eyes.
Olivia: el, tabbys gone.
Elliot: what?
Olivia: i mean shes not asleep on the couch anymore.
Elliot: did you check everywhere.
Olivia: no but i doubt shes hiding. why would she do that?
Elliot: alright well, dont worry. i'll call the captain and he'll send out some men to look for her, ok?
Olivia: ok.
she paced. elliot watched her and laughed.
Olivia: whats so funny?
Elliot: you. you never pace.
Olivia: well, its a tight situation here.
Elliot: calm down. everythings goona be ok. we just need to give it some time.
she nodded in agreement.
Olivia: your right. your right. just give it time.
she turned and went crazy on him. she pounded her hands on his chest.
Olivia: what if shes dead.! we dont have a case.! we dont have her.! we dont have a child.!
Elliot: liv calm down.
he grabbed her wrists and brung her in to a tight hug. he paused and thought about that last thing she said. she let her head rest on his shoulder, buried, and crying.
Elliot: liv?
he pulled away when she didnt answer. he looked her in the eyes. taking his thumb and wiping away the tears that fell on her cheeks. he stared more, shifting from her eyes to her lips. he went for the kill. pressing his lips against hers, she let him. he deepened it, and she loved it. she slipped in her tounge, and he was stunned that she did it first. but he fought anyways. the time was killed by the muffled sound of his phone ringing in his pocket. there faces an inch apart, both breathing heavy, he still stared at her just as bad as he did before. he dug through his pockets and picked up.
Elliot: stabler.
Cragen: elliot, we found tabitha.
he grabbed livs arm, while noticing she didnt even move from where she was standing when they kissed. he smiled.
Elliot: liv they found her. thanks captain.
liv smiled and a single tear streamed down. elliot closed his phone and wiped away the tear. he got close, body and face. he made her breath heavy again. he looked in her eyes.
Elliot: now, where were we?
he kissed her. he turned them around and shuffled them to the edge of the bed. the back of livs legs hit it and she tumbled backwards with him. still locked in the kiss. he joined her on the bed by pulling himself up only using his feet. clothes were stripped. blankets and sheets were pulled, twisted, turned, and flipped. they stopped, still breathing heavy again. laying side by side, his arm under her back, and holding on to her waist on the other side. he quickly turned and kissed her on the cheek, staying close to her face.
Elliot: lets go.
Olivia: where?
Elliot: to the captain.
liv thought he was going insane but he brought her down to the precinct with him. walking inside they saw munch and fin sitting at there desks. fin read over a case file while munch held tabby on his lap and played with barbie dolls. liv laughed at the sight of munch playing with dolls. thats when he noticed they were there and made sure everyone else knew too.
Munch: ah, the love birds are back.!
Olivia: were not love birds.
Tabitha: mommy.! daddy.!
tabby slid off munchs lap and ran to olivia. she picked her up right aways.
Munch: yeah, then why didnt you show up an hour ago when we were at the crime scene.
Olivia: what?
Fin: we found a gun that was shot by Robert Galahan. mans a pshyco.
Munch: literaly, hes talking to wuang in the room now. feel free to join us later.
Elliot: later?
cragen came out of his office as munch and fin passed him. his angry look on his face said it all. he was pissed. fin turned to look at elliot.
Fin: dads mad.
he turned back around and walked with munch to visit in with wuang. cragen had his hands in his pockets, shuffling them around.
Cragen: Elliot.! get your ass in here now.!
he went back in his office and sat down. elliot looked at liv with an im sorry look, then walked in after him and sat down. the captain didnt even wanna waist anytime on saying this to him.
Cragen: elliot, your getting a new partner.

ok ill post more. man, i know. it took me forever. but i was trying to think of how to make this chapter. took a while, sorry. but i got it.!

Chapter 7- Goodbye

elliot was in complete shock and couldnt move. he stared at cragen until he could think of something to say.
Elliot: why?
Captain: because i had to officers stand outside olivias apartment. they didnt mind telling me what you guys did. im sorry elliot, but you know the rules.
elliot rubbed his chin and thought hard, then walked out. he walked past liv who didnt even say anything. taking a seat at his desk, cragen came out and stood at the doorway with his hands in his pockets again.
Captain: olivia, can i see you in my office?
Olivia: sure.
she put tabby down on the floor and knealed in front of her.
Olivia: hey, im goona go talk to my boss ok? you stay here and play.
tabby nodded and ran over to elliot. elliot picked her up and played with her while liv walked into cragens office and sat down.
Olivia: yeah?
Captain: olivia, i ordered officers to watch your apartment.
Olivia: what?!
Captain: im sorry, but they saw everything you and elliot did. so im giving you the choice to quit.
olivia was so shocked that she even started to cry a little.
Olivia: fine, i quit.
she gave him her badge and gun and walked out. she stopped in front of elliots desk and picked up tabby. giving her a hug, she explained that she had to leave. tabby cried and elliot overheard everything even though he already knew. liv was crying because of having to leave. elliot could see this when she hugged tabby. liv walked over and told munch and fin, hugging them too. she came back and elliot was waiting to hug her, arms open. when he did she cried even harder than before. he stroked the back of her head, then rubbed her back to try and calm her down. it didnt work.
Olivia: i love you.
she whispered in his ear.
Elliot: i love too, always.
he whispered back. she pulled her head away so she could look in his eyes. he wiped away her tears on her cheek.
Elliot: it'll be ok, i promise.
Olivia: i know. i'll be here.
he wiped another tear, then kissed her. munch and fin looked at eachother in suprise, but smiled at them. tabby tugged on livs shirt. she knealed down. tabby wrapped her arms around her neck and kissed her on the cheek. liv smiled and kissed tabby on the forehead. she smiled at her and put her hands up to tabby cheeks.
Olivia: be good for mommy, ok?
Tabitha: ok.
liv kissed her forehead again then stood up. elliot looked at her.
Elliot: talk to you later.
olivia nodded then grabbed her coat and walked out. elliot picked up tabby as they watched her leave.

after they watched liv leave, tabby got down and ran over to fin. he picked her up and she wrapt around his neck and continued crying. munch walked over and put his hand on elliots shoulder.
Munch: she'll be back.
Elliot: yeah, i know.
he turned and sat down, as did munch. they worked till later on that night. everything was quiet because tabby was asleep in the crib. elliot worked at his desk on his computer. he stopped typing when liv called his cell phone.
Elliot: stabler.
Olivia: hey el.
Elliot: liv.!
Olivia: yeah, hows it going?
Elliot: bored as hell. got no one to talk to anymore. you got a plan to come back?
Olivia: mabey.
Elliot: dont tease me, babe.
Olivia: dont worry, i'll be in at about three, two, one. now.
liv walked in dressed like a hooker. elliot turned and looked at the door but didnt notice her. he closed his phone and went up to her.
Elliot: you need help?
Olivia: el, its me.
she hit him on the shoulder. he flinched.
Elliot: ouch.!
Olivia: sorry.
she laughed. he wouldnt stop staring at her.
Olivia: um, you ok?
Elliot: uh, yeah. i think so. so whats your plan?
Olivia: to act like im a new detective he can hire.
he thought about that idea for a minute.
Elliot: not sure you'll pass as the detective.
he whispered to himself. she walked passed him and headed into the office.
Olivia: and i heard that, by the way.
dang.! he thought. but she does look hott. no, what am i saying. i have to act like i dont know her. man, thats goona be hard. damn.! he came back from his thoughts and started typing. again, he stopped typing when the captain came out of his office.
Captain: elliot, i'd like you to meet your new partner. Heather Linkly.
why did she pick that name? he thought. well, it worked. whatever she said to him. oh, im saposed to greet her. he shook her hand and smiled. she smiled back.
Heather: hi, good to meet you.
ah.! he thought again. shes using her nice girl personality.!
Elliot: hey, good to have you here.
he put his hands behind his back as he listened to the captain talk.
Captain: alright elliot, you know what to do with new dectectives.
Elliot: yup.
he walked out the door.
Elliot: fallow me to your desk.
she fallowed and pretended to look around like she didnt know the place. just until she was out of the captains sight. when she sat down, fin came over and took her hand. he kissed it.
Fin: and who may i say, is this pretty lady?
Heather: fin, its me. liv.
Fin: oh, hey liv.
Munch: told you she'd be back.
he screamed to elliot. elliot smiled, chuckling after. liv chimed in.
Olivia: well atleast you didnt bet on how long it would take me to make a plan.
Fin: oh yeah, ya ass owes me five bucks man.
he said to elliot. liv laughed as he paid him.
Olivia: can't believe you guys. so, how far are we on tabbys case?
Elliot: let me show you.

he got up and walked over to her with a smile on his face. he leaned over and put his arms on either side of her, resting his hands on her desk. his face was so close to hers that everytime he said something she felt his breath blowing in her ears. she couldnt turn her head to look at him so she shifted her eyes. fin put his finger to his lips and quietly shushed munch as he got out his camera. he took a picture and shoved the camera over to munch. elliot turned when he heard this but then put his attention back to liv. he paused his talking and took a wiff of her perfume on her neck. he kissed the spot and she laughed. he kept it up until they heard tabby screaming.
Tabitha: Daddy.! ...she paused... Daddy.!
he sighed with annoyance and turned to look up at the crib door. he looked liv in the eyes.
Elliot: ill be right back.
she nodded and he ran up the stairs, swinging open the door and rushing to her side. minutes later he came back out, walking down the stairs and sitting down in his chair. everyone looked at him with questioned looks.
Fin: well, what she need ya for?
Munch: boogyman, or the monster under the bed?
Elliot: nightmares.
he said with an excited tone.
Fin: about what? she didnt even watch a scary movie.
Munch: you dont necessarilly have to watch scary movies to have a nightmare. its all in your imagination, which you apparently didnt have.
Fin: thats cause i was doin better things. like hangin out with my friends, somethin you dont have.
Elliot: well guys, wether they were nightmares or not, shes still a victim.
he looked at liv and she didnt notice. she was busy reading the case file for anything that they could have missed.
Olivia: hey you guys, did anyone check out the T&R Corporation where her father works?
all the guys looked at eachother and shook their heads. elliot stood up and got on his coat. he looked at liv.
Elliot: well heather, lets go for a drive to your first questioning.
liv smiled and stood up, putting on her coat. they walked out the door and into the elevator. which liv knew was not such a good idea, but in no way in hell was she taking the stairs. as soon as the elevator door closed, elliot pounced on her. he held the sides of her face and smacked a long and slow kiss on her lips. liv tapped his arm and he pulled away but still staying close.
Elliot: what?
Olivia: the doors open.
she pointed at the open elevator door behind him.
Elliot: oh.
she held his hand as they walked to his car. stepping with her to her side of the car, he opened the car door for her. then jogged and got in on his side. he started up the car but before he started to drive, she put her hand on his arm.
Olivia: el, theres something i have to tell you.
he dropped his hands from the steering wheel and looked at her with his eyebrows bent inward.
Elliot: liv, what is it?
Olivia: el, ...a pause... im pregnant.

Elliot: liv thats great.!

she smiled at him and he smiled back. he let go of her hand and started the car. they got halfway there when liv suddenly had an erge.
Olivia: el, i have to pee.
Elliot: ok, well hold on were almost there.

liv blew out a big breath off air from her puffed up cheeks, deflaiting them. she rested her head on the seat and looked out the window, trying not to think about it. they finally got there. elliot ran to her door and opened it for her before she even got her seatbelt off. they got inside and walked up to two guys at the front desk.
Elliot: excuse me. where are the bathrooms.
he showed them his badge then put it away.
Guy: down the hall and take a left. first door on your right.
Elliot: thanks.!
he yelled nicely as he ran after liv to the womens bathroom. he waiting outside leaning against the wall, breathing heavy. she came out five minutes later, smelling like oranges and looking perfectly refreshed. she smiled and looked over at him.
Olivia: ready?
Elliot: yeah.
they walked down the hallway in unison. she looked at him and he noticed.
Elliot: what?
Olivia: nothing.
she said with a smile. grabbing his hand and twisting their fingers together.

guess what.?! im writing another chapter.! i know, shocking.! well, here.!

they walked up to the desk where the two guys were sitting. one had gotten up and left so they talked to the other one.
Olivia: hey, show us your records of people who work here.
she flashed her badge infront of his face. elliot did the same. not tearing apart their hands.
Guy: sure, but who are you looing for. we have a computer based system where people have to log in to enter their office.
Olivia: so theirs a password?
Guy: yeah. here ill show you.
liv and elliot walked on the other side of the desk and looked at his computer screen.
Guy: see, this is where you have to log in. your password is typed in here.
he pointed over at the edge of the wall next to the entrance of his cubical. their was a pin pad that hung there.
Elliot: now, your telling me, no one can enter this cubical unless they type in the password. i dont know about you, but i say thats pretty unsecure. what do you protect the room with?
the man went back to his computer and brung up their security system. he pointed at the screen that showed a big gate that covered the door, and a security guard that stands in front of it.
Guy: this here is how it works.
Elliot: what happens when someone attacks your security guard?
Guy: then they still have to battle through the gate. look, i dont know what or who your trying to blame but what ever it was, it wasnt me.
Olivia: were not trying to blame anyone, were just here to find this man.
she said, holding up a picture of tabbys father, in the guys face.
Guy: yeah, i know that guy. he works upstairs in department 4.
Olivia: and what does he do in department 4?
Guy: he babysits children and studies their life habbits.
liv and elliot glanced at eachother than back at the guy. liv nodded her head and they headed for the elevator. she pushed the up button and they waited. while they did, elliot quickly tightened their hands closer together. liv smiled as they entered and stood against the back wall. elliot waisted no time on waiting. he grabbed the sides of her face and smacked a kiss on her. she granted his tounge access but not his hand on her waist. he stopped and pulled back, looking at her with a questioned face.
Elliot: liv what is it?
Olivia: nothing. it was good, but the door just opened and theirs people staring at us.
she whispered to him. he slowly turned his head over and saw people looking back at him with discusted and scared expressions. he dropped his hands from her face and walked out, hand in hand. the people watched them walk away as they quickly entered the elevator. liv and elliot walked down the hallway in silence. until liv broke it.
Olivia: awkward.!

it was quiet again until they reached the door to the fourth department. they went to push them open but then they heard a little girl scream. they whiped out their guns and swung open the door. interupting the father raping another little girl.

they stood their in silence until the guy noticed they were there. he stopped.
Olivia: get off the girl, now.!
he didnt budge an inch.
Elliot: sir, your under arrest for the rape of two little girls. you have the right to remain silent. anything you say can, and will be, against you in the court of law. you have the right to an attorney. if you cannot afford one, one will be provided for you.
he said, as he slapped handcuffs on his wrists and stood him up. liv ran up to the little girl who was still crying.
Olivia: its ok sweety. were here to help you, ok?
the girl nodded and liv put the girls head on her shoulder. she whispered to her as they walked to the car.
Olivia: its ok. i promise. your goona be fine. its ok.
liv stroked the back of the girls hair. trying to calm her down, which seemed to be working. she pulled out her walkie talkie and called in for a bus. they got down to the car, minutes later. the bus had arrived and the perp was in the back of elliots car. the captain, along with munch and fin, had shown up too.
Captain: fin and munch, i want you to take our perp back down to our precinct. interrogate him and get some answers. elliot, come with me. were goona take i ride down to the hospital. liv, ride in the ambulence with the girl. we'll meet you there.
everyone nodded and did as they were told. fin and munch just took elliots car. and the captain and elliot took theirs. metting liv at the hospital wasnt shocking. elliot sat down next to her as she cried. she put her hd on his shoulder, he hugged her tightly and rubbed her back.
Olivia: el, what if we never showed up. what if we were to late. she could have died. suffered.
Elliot: liv, the point is, is that we were there. we saved her from being torchured and beatin to death. its not your fault.
Olivia: then why does it feel that way?
Elliot: listen.
he said, pulling away from her and wiping away the tears falling from her eyes.

they sat their, in the waiting room for atleast half an hour. cragen had gone to the caf. to get some coffee. elliot and olivia were alone again, talking.
Elliot: we should have a party.

Doctor: kelsey hinns has several bruisings on her left thight. we found a slight case of blood force trauma. but not enough to knock her out. she also had an intact hymen and a broken pelvis.
this information made liv feel queezy. but she was ok afterwards. the doctor gestured towards the elevator.
Doctor: you may go see her. shes on the second floor, room 408.
Elliot: thanks.
the doctor nodded and walked off. liv and elliot boarded the elevator. this time, he controlled his actions. besides. he thought. theres too many people in here anyways. liv looked at him smiling. she was curious.
Olivia: watcha thinking about?
Elliot: who says i was thinking?
Olivia: your smile.
she laughed. as did he. elliots phone rang and he answered right aways. it was fin.
Elliot: stabler
Fin: hey, man. we got some information on our guy here.

they headed into the room with kelsey. she laid up in the bed, eating from a tray. she swallowed a spoon of applesauce as they seated themselves in the chairs next to her. liv pushed away the hair in her face and elliot crossed his arms.
Kelsey: hi. who are you?
Olivia: im olivia and this is my partner elliot. were just here to ask you some questions about what happened today. do you remember anything?
Kelsey: i remember hearing a lady talking.
Olivia: well, we showed up. was it me or someone else?
Kelsey: she wasnt loud. she sounded like she was on the phone.
Olivia: did you hear anyone else talking?
Kelsey: no.
she said, shaking her head and taking another spoonful of applesauce. elliot chimed in this time.
Elliot: do you know what you were doing before you were attacked?
Kelsey: i was playing princess. i even have a tutu.
she smiled. olivia smiled back.
Elliot: yeah? and did this guy take your tutu away?
Kelsey: yeah. he told me i couldnt be a princess anymore.
she said, with a sad voice.
Olivia: do you remember anything else he said?
Kelsey: he was talking about killing ME.
Olivia: did he hurt you?
Kelsey: no. but he wrote it down.
Elliot: wrote it down?
Kelsey: yeah. M. E. he wrote down the letters and they spelled ME.
Elliot: here, can you write it like he did?
he asked, handing her his note pad and pen. she nodded in agreement and wrote it down. M. E. she handed the stuff back to elliot and he showed it to liv. they got curious faces.
Olivia: did he write anything after that?
Kelsey: i dont know. but, he was sweaty.
Elliot: did he seem nervous?
Kelsey: yeah. he started screaming. then he yelled at me. its not my fault.!
she started to get teary. olivia tried to calm her down.
Olivia: its not your fault, sweetheart. and you did a good job telling us this. ok?
kelsey nodded and took more applesauce.
Elliot: we'll talk later ok?
he whispered to her.
Kelsey: ok. she said, a mouthful of food.
they got up and headed out the door. elliot turned before they were out in the hallway. he gave kelsey a smile.
Elliot: dont forget. if you want ice cream just bug the nurses.
she giggled. and he smiled. as did liv. he shut the door and they left for the precinct. when they got there, fn and munch were looking at the clear board. already, it had pictures taped on it.
Elliot: hey, what you guys get so far?
Fin: nothin, any information from the kid?
Olivia: she said he wrote M.E. down on a piece of paper.
Munch: M.E? so, im guessing thats code for, me?
Fin: yeah, sounds good to me.
Elliot: nope.
they gave him wierd looks.
Olivia: its spelled like this.
she took a marker and wrote it up on the board. fin and munch looked at it with questioned faces. trying to figure it out.
Fin: what the hell does that mean?
Munch: mabey its the name for his next victim.
elliot shook his head.
Elliot: nah.
he scratched his chin then crossed his arms. liv crossed hers and leaned against the corner of her desk.
Elliot: well, lets take it from another perspective. first off, its all in caps.
Olivia: so, its obviously something important.
Fin: yeah, but why would he write it down? its two letters. anyone can remember that.
Munch: not with people who have altzheimers.
fin gave him 'the look'
Fin: man, i wasnt talkin bout you.
he looked back at the word with smile. munch let out a deep breath. then put his concentration back on the board. they stood in silence for a moment. then elliot turned and opened the file on his desk.
Elliot: i got it.
everyone gave him their attention.
Elliot: his other neices. maylee and elizabeth.
Fin: we had to let him go, their was no evidence.
Olivia: where is he know?
Munch: his house. we couldnt get an officer to stand outside cause he wasnt convicted. there was no probable cause.
elliot and olivia exchanged looks and quickly left.
