Why Wasn't Shawn or Gus able to call for backup, when they followed the mummy?

I know that Gus' cell phone died at the museum and that Shawn dropped his cell phone, but wouldn't at least Gus had his phone charged, after he ran out of the museum like a track star and gone home? Gus seems like the type of person that would carry a car charger. I can't see Gus leaving home without his cell phone. Doesn't he uses that cell phone for work?

As for Shawn, wouldn't he have gotten a new phone? I am sure he has insurance on his phone. I could be wrong!

Well actually between the Time Shawn tried to beat the system and when the museum was locked for the night they didn't leave, so they would have no way to communicate.

all though did anyone else notice that Shawn's cell phone magically changed colors?

When Gus grabs the phone in order to put Jules on speaker it's clearly black, but when you see the shot of Shawn dropping it, it's silver.

Maybe it was a trick of the light but I'm pretty sure it was black.

I'm talking about, when Shawn and Gus followed the van into the woods.



I could be wrong, but when Jules called Shawn, the phone didn't even ring. Shawn just put the phone to his ear. I don't think that the phone was on vibrate. Another thing, I didn't see Shawn press the talk button to talk to Jules.

Ahh I gotcha. hmmmm I don't know... It does seem really strange that he wouldn't have it on him or at least charged but who knows. Maybe he read something about how cell phone frequencies can pick up on the spirits of the dead and discarded his. lol





hmm I was pretty sure I heard the phone ring, but I'm not entirely sure. hmm I'll have to watch that part again.

He did have it on vibrate, you can hear the vibration noise at least twice. Also, Shawn doesn't need to press the talk button to answer, he has his set to answer when it's opened. That's how my cell phone is too.

My bad! After checking the scene out a couple of minutes ago, I hear the phone ring.

I noticed that too. His phone is always different, in some eps it's black, in some eps it's silver. This is the first time I've seen it change in teh middle of an ep though.

Yeah me too. I think I even remember it being red in one episode but who knows.

I think most of the time it is but there are rare occasions where it's different.
