hey guys it has been confirmed that psych (and monk) will be moving to nbc in march...any thots???

As loyal as I am to USA, it will be nice to see reruns of Psych that AREN'T at 1 A.M. on a Thursday. *rolls eyes*

It's not, they're showing reruns on NBC because of the lack of new episodes for the network because of everything that happened with the writers strike. NBC has rights to Psych because it's an NBC Universal show, so they can bring it up and show reruns on NBC.

General Electric owns both NBC and USA, so it isn't a betrayal by any stretch, just a move for reruns. No reason to feel bad about Psych becoming available to a larger audience! Be happy, network exposure as reruns is very good advertising for the show.

Thinking pretty much what you stated. Even James R. said in an interview that he was excited about more people being exposed to the show. So it's a really a win win, right??

Usually, we have shows moving to USA for reruns and that... i.e. NCIS... and Law and Order: Criminal Intent! (Does Criminal Intent still show new episodes on USA?)

It's nice to see that Psych goes against the flow and is actually moving to NBC for reruns.

To know that millions more people will be able to see it just makes me happy. It's perfect fun for (just about) the entire family!

I just hope that once NBC gets new programming that we don't lose out on this exposure.

Because of the writers strike, NBC decide to fill some holes in their schedule with shows from USA. Like CBS did with Dexter which is on Showtime, which now is currently on Sundays on CBS. Both Monk and Psych reruns will begin to air April 6 on NBC.

I always like excuses to make my friends watch Psych. Some of them are cableless (word?), so this is good

I'm really happy it's getting more exposure though, that's great.

I'm alright with reruns of Psych playing on NBC, as long as they don't move Psych to NBC. I have satellite and I don't catch NBC, CBS, ABC or even FOX and I am not switching to cable. Cable doesn't give you a lot of channels, but they do charge a lot.

????????? I thought EVERYONE with a TV got NBC, CBS, ABC, and Fox. I had rabbit ears for years and still got those channels. What kind of service do you have, because seriously, if you don't get the networks just spend 2 bucks on a 10+year old pair of rabbit ears and you'll get the networks. I'm really stumped here.

It's not moving there! They are simply running reruns there!!!

Does anyone know what time they will air Monk and Psych on NBC?

I do have rabbit ears, but I don't put them on my TV. I am use to watching satellite.

Still, I have satellite but I can still get basic channels. If you really can't get those you should switch satellite companies, because you're being ripped off.

I have Dish Network, and NBC is channel 7, even though it says it is WHDH. Somehow it's both. Hope that helps somebody...and makes sense!

According to the press release, Monk will air at nine with Psych following at ten on April 6, which is a Sunday.

The satellite companies where I live at, don't carry local channels. I had satellite since 2001.
