mr. monk is on the run was so forced. It was such a great idea but it just seemed so forced. Who agrees?? I noticed that when the sherrif was chasing them in the car wash he said something about the big man. cmon writers you can do better than that!!!!!!!!!

IMO, it was entertaining at times, but not the best plotted.

i think that too but i think it could have been so much better. Also i noticed that at the end when monk pullud out the key without stopping the engine and the car stopped right away which wouldnt happen.

Who says he/the driver didn't hit the brake too?
They're not niave. I'm pretty sure all the writers drive.

Eh? What does that have to do with the writers?
And, yes, Monk drives. He doesn't drive well, and he doesn't have a license...
But neither do I.

And I know what a brake is.
And if by "forced" you mean "awesome", I agree.

Well, technically speaking, he does have a license, he just never uses it. That's why he couldn't take that very forward girl home in "Playboy".

Adrian Monk is a gay man... not that there's anything wrong with
that!

No, not at all...
but the evidence (namely his devotion to Trudy and his lack of attraction to men) suggests otherwise.

Well, either life can imitate art or it cant, right?
And I think it was pretty sweet too. "It was supposed to go faster." - lol. I almost died.

Here we go again! PLEEEEEASE! Just because he is a neat freak doesn't mean he is gay. If you look carefully, you will notice that Adrian is always looking at Natalie's tush as she walks away. Monk Gay? I think not!

To steal from Jerry Seinfeld -- just because you're thin, neat and single doesn't make you gay.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Oh, and Mr. Wu, the asian teacher on Veronic Mars had a good quote: "Not all clean, well read, articulate men are gay. Some are just asian."
And Monks not gay (not that there's anything wrong with that!) he's just in love with a dead woman instead of interested in a live one. It's sad and it's sweet but very hetero.
