OK, I'm tired of re-analyzing last night's episode and debating the relationships. Anyone else want to lay aside their differences and make 'beautiful' music together by writing more verses to Randy's song?

Here's what I heard of the original:

A little insensitive, I know, but I can see Disher doing a long, pathos-filled retrospective of Monk's life.

Why . . . was Monk sho-ot
By a captain . . . na-amed Stott?
Once he was . . . Monk's best frie-end
But Monk's life . . . he did e-end.

Monk tried to stay strong, Hmmm, hmmm, hmmm...
And he tried to right wrongs.., Hmmm, hmmm, hmmm
But now he's where he belongs... Oh, yeah, yeah...
Because he's with Trudy in heaven.

Ambrose....is his brother
Both boys....lost their mother
But Ambrose can't.... leave his ho-ome.
So he mourns....and grieves alone.

Monk tried to keep life in li-ine
Solving the most difficult cri-imes
Worrying with his every brea-eth

xD I figure Randy it's to good at writing, we all know that. Think of the suckin' up to the man song. So, I wrote okay lyrics, but they aren't to good- being Randy's aren't. Nice idea by the way! =D

This is fun -- it's like a bad poetry contest. How many verses did Randy say he'd written?

Hey guys guess what!!!!!!!! I can play randy's song lol on my dad's guitar! with some help from my dad we figured out how to play the melody with out tuning our guitar to jason's guitar!! Jason had his guitar tuned a diffrent way than our's is, but i still found out a way to play the song lol! It is pretty funny , and sweet! we also used some diffrent notes than he did because are guitars are tuned diffrently! I love playing the song tho! I am currently going to be taking piano lessons again and will soon be adding piano notes to the song lol!

Lol. I have switched places with my dad lol i am now playing the guitar and my dad is going to learn how to play the piano. I have not stopped playing Randy's song yet i am almost a pro at it! And i added some new lyrics to the song! Lol it is so much fun i laugh everytime i play it!

lol i don't think so...That would cost some money. For now i am just sharing it with my family and i could not record it that would be stealing someones song. I can't take credit for that.

I don't know. After all, he wasn't fired after the first song.... or for skipping work to go to a rock concert...or for falling for the fortune cookie trick....or....you get the idea. The man has great job security.

That is true ,but that verse might have gone to far. Like you know saying did you really care? Stott loves monk of course he cares. LOl

I can't think of any verse right now that would go along with the song melody. lol i really need to think. Lets try to make it an even number of verse's for monk!

I don't know how many we have now, but I will try to organize them later, when they're all done. Just realized we don't have anything about the 6-fingered man and the shooting. So....

I would , but the thing is that i do not have my guitar tuned to Jason's guitar. Therefore i had to find some replacement notes. The sound the same , but also sound a little diffrent. I don't know if the guitar chords will sound the same as mine , as on yours. Jason has his guitar tuned to a higher pitch where my guitar is more in a lower pitch so i am trying to add some new chords to make it sound as close as to his as possible. So when i find something really close i will put the chords on here for all you other guitar fans that love the song he played. I will keep you posted!
