I was reading on the Internet about who has won the PWI Awards for 2007

John Cena won 2 Awards for 2007:

Wrestler of the Year beating out Kurt Angle (1st Runner-Up), Batista (2nd Runner-Up) and Randy Orton (3rd Runner-Up)

and Most Popular Wrestler of the Year beating out The Undertaker (1st Runner-Up) STING (2nd Runner-Up) and CM Punk (3rd Runner-Up)

Candice Michelle won 2 awards for 2007:

Woman of the Year beating out Beth Phoenix (1st Runner-Up), Gail Kim (2nd Runner-Up) and Karen Angle (3rd Runner-Up)

and Most Improved Wrestler of the Year beating out 3 guys:

Jay Lethal (1st Runner-Up), MVP (2nd Runner-Up) and Cody Rhodes (3rd Runner-Up)

and also, I hate to say it, but Hornswaggle won the PWI Award for Rookie of the Year beating out Ted DiBiase, Jr (1st Runner-Up). Pelle Primeau (2nd Runner-Up) and Mike DiBiase (3rd Runner-Up)

London & Kendrick have won the PWI Awards for Tag Team of the Year beating out Team 3-D (1st Runner-Up), The Briscoe Brothers-Jack & Marc (2nd Runner-Up) and Deuce & Domino (3rd Runner-Up)

The High Flying Jeff Hardy won a PWI Award as well for Comeback of the Year beating out Triple H (1st Runner-Up), Rey Mysterio (2nd Runner-Up) and The Steiner Brothers (3rd Runner-Up)

and plus, The Legend Killer Randy Orton won the PWI Award for the Most Hated Wrestler of the Year beating out Kurt Angle (1st Runner-Up), The Great Khali (2nd Runner-Up) and Robert Roode (3rd Runner-Up)

1st Runner-Up was Kurt Angle vs. Samoa Joe from TNA's Final Resolution 2007

Most popular wrestler should be Cena. It's only fair, and as much as we hate it - he has been immensley popular.


But best wrestler. No. I'd say Edge.

No that was the 2007 TNA Year End Awards I posted, this is Pro Wrestling Illustrated Magazine's 2007 Year End Awards!

I guess i have to agree with Axl that Cena gets a reaction though it is mostly the opposite of what it should be. Edge gets the title for best wrestler I don't like anything Angle is doing. I've never liked Batista and Randy orton didn't start doing anything till towards the end of the year that would be significant to me. From what i have seen of her i think that Gail Kim should have won. I don't know how Lethal got the most improved, he's always been great to me. The rest of the choices are just disappointing.

I didn't like any of those choices, except for London & Kendrick, Jeff Hardy and Jeff Jarrett.

I never liked Cena or Candice's In-Ring Skills and Hornswaggle winning Rookie of the Year IS a JOKE!

and the greatest match of the year, IMO is Christian Cage vs. Kaz from TNA Genesis as well as Kurt Angle vs. Kaz from TNA iMPACT! for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

Is it just me or has Angle shunk in size?

I'm guess. I guess he doesn't want to get a suspension or anything after that DUI. But i did think he looked smaller. I was watching when he won the WHC on Smackdown and he looks big there. I think he's shrunk in size.
