Ohhhh okay..... Yeah, that seemed like a shippy moment for E/O but Alex doesn't seem as vulnerable (?) as Olivia...I wouldn't expect to hear her whisper any man's name like that...but you never know.

Every time I see a Bobby/Alex touching moment, obviously makes me want to throw my TV out of the window. They will be always remain as friends until the show reaches its end.

Aw really? You know, friends have touching moments, too, it doesn't always mean it's shippy. Remember after Nelda tried to split them apart in Semi-Detached, and they laughed about it afterward? That was so sweet, but it wasn't necessarily shippy. Or in Albatross at the bar or all the times she asked if he was okay. They obviously care about eachother more than just partners. You don't have to throw your tv out the window for that

I'd probably sign up with the Noromo crew (now that I've been poking around and understanding the lingo a little better), but I'm not so heated/against the prospect about them shipping - I just don't see it in the cards. But there are some people who apparently are VERY against the idea (throwing tvs is bad, kids).

Maybe you should join the USS Friendship, JudyG and spookycc are the captain. It floats in the USS NoRomo's pool. They're NoRomos but are more Friendshippers.

Oh, I'm fully aware that joining a ship is not required, but I figure I'm here to make friends and friends can usually be made with similar interests (like views about ship/no ship for example ) And I've already been thinking about it, I just didn't realize how many their were and who was in charge of them and all that. It's all really fun

Well the way I've been told to understand the Noromo crew is that they think Bobby and Alex are partners and friends but there will be no romance between them - which I totally agree with. But then there's a friendShip, and that just confuses me even more, lol. So do the noromos think that Bobby and Alex only work on a professional level *scratches head*

You should ask Judy more on it. I don't know much about it either . I think NoRomos are more "heated" against shipping, while friendshippers are less.

glg - the NoRomo has the most crew members believing that Bobby and Alex are partners - no romance. The USS FRIENDship is a satellite 'yacht', floating in the NoRomo pool spookycc and I are the co-captains to a crew of three (including Captain Deakins as our honorary LOCI member). We believe that Goren and Eames are partners and have a strong friendship based on their years together but NO romantic feelings. It is possible to be a member of the NORomo and the FRIENDship simultaneously (I am and spook is actually a Rear Admiral of the NoRomo, I think - she was recently promoted)

My real thoughts?? Do I have those? Okay, yes on the fence. I know IF it does happen, show is gone which I definitely don't want. 'Blind Spot' and 'F.P.S.' are the only 2 episodes holding me back. I just cannot get certain things out of my head. Then there's the fics. Don't even get me started on those. I even dipped my hand in the fic pool and gave an idea I had to a writer friend of mine who can write either way and we are doing fine right now but I am so afraid it gonna get too shippy which I certainly don't want, for myself or anyone else, especially when NoRomos are mostly reading it.

I read the rules for the Swiss and I am following them truthfully to the best of my ability.

I'm kind of the same, I can't really read shippy stories or watch shippy videos. I just like some shippy moments like they do sometimes, but no shipping until later. I can be very shippy, though. What are the Swiss rules by the way?

Not exactly sure I remember them all. Maybe *jc will see this and help me out. I know you should be reading all fics, which I do no matter ship/no ship or who it is that is shipping. I have read some interesting ones, believe me and some very good ones. There is also something about the Swiss see no evidence of any shippiness but that doesn't mean it isn't there. Thus the meaning on the fence. We can't decide either way because there is no evidence of it, I think. There are a few others but I don't remember them. I know they are posted on the ship/no ship thread and they have been posted recently (within the past month or so) because I read them again and nodded at each one as I read them.

Go up check out my fic. It is posted here. Not heavy on the shipping. Very good or so the NoRomos say.

We have Twilight Isle for any neutral discussions/parties, etc. All ship/no ship talk is left at the door when visiting Twilight Isle. I think Chimera oversees the island and does a wonderful job.

And for anyone who saw Purgatory - one of the main reasons shippiness will never happen can be evidence in Alex's anger/resentment towards Goren at the end. That is not a woman in love folks. That is a partner/friend hurt and disappointed with her partner.
