I've noticed three clues were given that Shawn's mother would appear in the Finale.
1. We see her in a flashback
2. Henry is cleaning up and he needed to talk to Shawn privately
3. When Shawn and Gus are walking out the museum room, where the guns are held - Gus uses the words, "and your Mama" to be sarcastic, because Shawn was trying to make it seem as if no one would know that those guns were in a bulletproof case, unless they were at Charlton Heston's house.
Is it possible that Steve had given us a clue, as to who will be playing Shawn's mother? Shawn introduces Gus as Patti Simcock to the man in the wheelchair.
Susan Buckner played in Greese as Patti Simcock.

More elusive hint: Henry had a blind date form City Hall set up by Chief Vick last episode, and last season Shawn was upset when Henry had a lady at the house, remember when he wouldn't answer the phone?

I keep telling myself that to ease my Psych withdrawal, which is going to be worse cause of this cliffhanger. It'll go by fast though, it always does.
