The Wedding Disasters of Professional Wrestling
1988-20 years in the making
The Macho Man Randy Savage and the late Miss Elizabeth got married, and it was for real.
But what whatever happend to 'til Death do us part and what ever happend to those old happy times that we use to have?
Well ever since the WWE became known as the Attitude Era, we've seen Weddings gone bad.
No one has been in Wedding Disasters quite like Stephanie McMahon Levesque.
Before she became the REAL Mrs. Triple H Stephania took part in 3 Wedding Disasters:
In 1999, The Undertaker was trying to force Stephanie McMahon to marry him, but then suddenly....Glass Breaks and Stone Cold came out and took care of the The Undertaker and his gang The Ministry of Darkness, and he didn't do it for Vince McMahon, but he did that b/c it was the right thing to do.
and in 2000, she took part of a wedding w/Andrew Martin better known as Test.
Just when Test was about to get married, Triple H all of a sudden came out and showed a Video Footage of Triple H marrying Stephanie instead of Test, and then, all of a sudden, Stephanie broke down in tears and Test was livid, and then, as the weeks gone by, Stephanie showed her true colors and betrayed her father and turned heel.
However, in February of 2002 during Valentine's Week, Stephanie and Triple H were going to renew their wedding vows after Stephanie announced that she was pregnant, but suddenly Linda McMahon called Triple H and told her that Stephanie lied being pregnant, and then, Triple H told Stephanie what she truly was and then, tore the whole wedding set and gave Vince McMahon the Pedigree, and Stephanie was livid, but on SD!, Stephanie w/the held of Kurt Angle and The Undertaker told Triple H how she truly felt.
and there was another Wedding Disaster on SD! when Legendary Wrestling Vixen Dawn Marie and Torrie Wilson's Real Life Father Al Wilson took part of a Wedding w/Dawn Marie and Al taking off their clothes and suddenly, having Al Wilson being dead and Torrie and Dawn fighting @ his funeral which lead up to another match between the two of them @ the 2003 WWE Royal Rumble PPV.
But there were more Wedding Disasters, this time, no other female Wrestler has been in more Wedding Disasters quite like Amy Dumas better known as Lita.
Lita like Stephanie also took part in 2 Wedding Disasters
In 2004, Kane won a rematch @ Summerslam against Matt Hardy in the 1st ever 'Til Death do us Part Match, and then the following week, Lita's close friends in real life Victoria tried to convince Eric Bischoff to stop the wedding, until she was rudely interrupted by Triple H and then Lita and Kane were @ the alter, but then just when Matt Hardy and Lita were going to escape Kane, the Big Red Monster stopped them w/the flames and also, Trish Stratus came out in a Maid of Honor Outfit that was considered too hot for TV and soon, they got married, but then, one year later, Lita turned on Kane in favor of Edge, and they were going to get married, until Kane got revenge and the Wedding came to a screeching hault.
The following week @ Vengeance Lilian Garcia was going to propose a marriage to Viscera, until The Godfather and his Escorts came out in Las Vegas and Viscera turned down Lilian for The Godfather's Escorts and during an Exclusive Interview, Lilian told Maria that she was hurt, and then, 1 year later when RAW was in Vegas, Lilian put Viscera in his place.
In 2007 on SD!, Teddy Long and Kristal were going to get married, with Vickie Guerrero as Maid of Honor and Torrie Wilson and Michelle McCool as their Bridesmaids.
But then, just when things was so sweet, things started going bad when Jillian Hall came out and was singing off key which lead Candice and Mickie to throw her out of the arena, and then, The Godfather comes out and tried to Tempt Teddy Long, but that didn't work, and then all of the men including JBL went out w/The Godfather's Escorts, but if that didn't get any worse, Hornswaggle was all over the place and Vince and Coach went after him, leaving only the Divas and Vixens as well as Michael Cole and Vince McMahon's Stooges Pat Patterson and Gerald Briscoe, but then, just when Teddy Long was going to say I do, he would soon collapse.
But WWE isn't the only company w/Wedding Disasters.
WCW had 2 Wedding Disasters as well:
During the Eric Bischoff Era, Col. Parker and Sherri Martel were going to get married on an episode of WCW's Clash of the Champions on TBS, until the returning Madusa came out and put an end to the whole wedding.
and in 2000, during the Vince Russo Era on WCW Monday Nitro on TNT in Flair's Hometown of Charlotte, NC, Stacy Keibler was going to marry David Flair after she announced that she was pregnant, until she announced to the whole world that David Flair was NOT the father of Stacy's child, and in 2001, after Vince Russo was shown the door, Bischoff was back as Booker of WCW and Stacy told the world that the whole pregnancy was a fake and she became a valet for Shawn Stasiak.
and on a 2008 Valentine's Day Edition of TNA iMPACT!, the 1st ever Wedding in TNA took place in the IMPACT ZONE and Kurt and Karen Angle was going to renew their Wedding Vows, until Samoa Joe who declared war on The Angle Alliance came out and attacked Angle and the Priest was knocked silly and pronounced AJ Styles and Karen Angle as Man & Wife, but what does that spell for Kurt Angle?
