I wish I could help. I did not watch last night because I was sick.

Well I caught the triple episode where Gibbs is injured, loses his memory, and retires.
Now I have to wait until they get around to later episodes or does the series end there?

Those episodes where the last 2 of season three and the first one of season 4. There are twenty something episodes of season 4, and I believe 11 of season 5 (current season) that have aired. Season 5 has been truncated due to the writers strike and as such 7 more new episodes will air starting in eary April.
