How do you get to introduce the breeds at Westminster without being able to pronounce Weimar-AH-ner? Not once, not twice, but THREE times we heard Weimar-EYE-ner echoing through the Garden. And this is the offical Westminster PA announcer??? Is there nobody in the booth to correct this gaffe? Just abysmal....

Probably because the 'a' has two little dots over it which in German is pronounced 'eye' making the pronunciation of the announcer correct, I would say.

The same with Samoyed which is really pronounced Sam-Ay-ed and Keeshond which is Kayz-hawnd.

It's all according to how it is correctly pronounced in the country of origin.
