I can't believe the USA Network did not show all of the opening night of the Westminster Dog Show.
Some people who left the room or clicked on other networks had a bad surprise at 9:00 pm EST.
I have lost a lot of faith in USA. I guess men in tights and a lot of screaming and belly flops on the mat get better ratings. I hope Britney Spears does not do anything around 10:00 pm tonight or USA might cover her and not the 132nd year best in show.

They must think wrestling fans make money more than dog lovers, or dog show lovers? That can't possibly be true.

DITTO!! I thought something was wrong with my satellite when I taped the show. Only one hour taped. Then I start watching the closing show tonight and find them showing the winners of the 4 group from last night. I look forward to this show every year. I don't even watch the other ones that are shown a thousand times thru the year. This is so upsetting to me. Why would USA CHOOSE to just not show the other 2 hours of the show. I hope Westminster is reading this and goes to another network next year. This is just unacceptable!!!

Yeah I was more than a wee bit peeved when I got home all excited to watch the dog show only to discover that stupid wrestling was on. Then switched over to CNBC to discover that you don't get to see the first hour. What is up with showing only part of it then having to switch channels?? I did DVR last nights 3 hour show this morning & will probably DVR the final night since I really don't want to know who wins without seeing the prior show.

I have not been able to watch the dog show for 2-3 years now & finally got DirectTV so I was going to be able to watch it then this happens.

And I used to really like wrestling but hadn't watched in years. My gosh, I can see why I no longer watch. 10 minutes of that was torture. The announcers are more annoying than the phoney wrestlers.

At any rate I hope next year some station that will air the show in its entirety gets the chance, this is bull.

I got a Pom, buff colored, will be 9 this month. She is pretty fat, and pretty furry right now, the groomer is to come by on her b-day. She stays in the "cool" room a lot, and hates the heated portion of the house. Does yours (if you have one) bark at each and everything that moves.

Yeah I mean watching dogs walk around is way more exciting than physical sports.



There are more wrestling fans and therefore more accumulated income to spend on merchandise. When was the last time you saw someone with a WestMinster Dog Show shirt walking around? When was the last time you saw kids playing with Dog Shos action figures? When was the last time you saw someone pay money (PPV) to watch dogs walking around?

I don't remember the actual schedule but I caught all of the show watching USA then switching to CNBC following the opening of the first judging. I think they ran the entire dog show over the next two days during the day on USA. I do agree it was a little awkward changing the channel though.

Come on dog show people, you guys like to take shots at Raw when nobody is around, then when someone confronts you about it you run away and hide?
