Trying to found out if being a Shipper or Non-Shipper [NoRomo] has anything to do with Age.

Shipper - To see romance between two Characters
Non-Shipper- To see NO romance between two characters
On The Fencer- Not sure, Mixed Feelings

AmandaB - I told Valley, I thought that age is indeed relative to the ship/no ship debate. The younger/innocent eyes see 'in love, shippiness' while the 'older' eyes have more experience to make a differentiation (sp) between love/friendship and in love. (imo)

I am a 44 year old total shipper. As I have said before, I try to find shippeness in every episode. Big time in yesterday's Bravo airings of Silencer.

I would like to think it is maybe it is because I have been married over 20 years to the same man, but others have been married longer and are non-shippers. So I can't explain it.

I love romance in movies, songs, books, you name it. I guess I would hope that everyone could be in love. I even named by youngest daughter Julie after Julie Andrews because The Sound of Music is such a perfect movie. On the other hand, Borat is another of my favorite movies, so go figure.

Well I'm much, much older than 41 and still on the fence, although I am a hopeless romantic and can sometimes see a little spark between these two I'm still not sure but it wouldn't upset me if they were together - but either way as long as they are there for each other, romantically or not, I don't mind - I hope that makes sense, I thought it did in my head but now written down it looks a bit odd, well my excuse is that it's late over here in the UK and I should be in bed and when you are as old as I am you need as much sleep as you can get, not like you youngsters lol lol

I totally agree with everything you said. I thought I was the only older shipper here. I am 37 although I don't talk much, just when I have someting to say. I have only been married 10 years. Maybe that has something to do with it but I love romance in everything I watch and read like you do. Try to figure it out, I guess we are just hopeless romantics.

Actually, cifan, you are one of my most active shippers, you and hellobobby. Everyone else kinda disappeared. Probably cause there hasn't been any new episodes.

Nothing on TV tonight. I think I will watch my DVR'd favorite CI episodes and look for shippy moments.
I always watch the 11 pm if on USA even though I know it is going to be on at 6 pm the next day. I get to watch in peace and at least my dog doesn't make fun of my comments.
It is then on at midnight on another network. I get up at 6 am, so sometimes even I can't stay up. Depends on the episode.

11 Non-Shippers are 41 & older.
