Have we given up? I have noticed recently not too much activity on the boards. If we give up then USA wins. I am not too computer savvy but I think we need to continue. Someone mentioned sending peanuts. But I don't think usa will get the hint that it was from a specific episode. I like the hand theory. Now we need to do it. I don't know exactly how to send them the hand so any help from someone would be nice. We all have to do this. The 4400 hasn't given up. I hope we haven't also. I realize the actors are probably on to new things but I do believe they would come back at least to do a movie or miniseries to finish up the ending. So let's get going.

I'm all ears...if we want to a movie we've got to give them a reason, without enough fans speaking up we won't get anything! look at the 4400.....they have a huge outpouring of support, I know this show is great and has a lot of fans....come on guys, lets make some noise!

OK, I'm ready too. Just need some leadership. I have signed 2 petitions and tried to contact Lionsgate films unsuccessfully. Don't know what else to do, but will gladly take suggestions.

We all need to do somthing and fast. The longer we wait the odds of us getting a tv movie is not good. We have to think and fast.

i was thinking about what to send and I thought maybe a bible would be good, the thing is i am religous and I don't know how i really feel about sending a bible. I guess I could if i knew they woudln't throw it away. Something associated with armageddon would be good, can you think of anything else? A cane would be the best but those aren't cheap. The hand thing is ok, What about if we all printed out a copy of AMH on the cover of one of the DVD's and signed our name and wrote "please give us an ending" and mailed it in. Would that work?

If so...lets finalize it, get the address and person to whom we need to mail it to posted and set a target date. what do you think??

I was just surfing the net to get some info on the 4400 campaign and I found an article about their attempt to save the show OR at least resolve it properly on yahoo.com. After the article are two websites created by fans of the show that they used to post the campaign and collect names etc. I went to the website and they had ended their 1st round of the campaign with 15000 signatures as well as tons of sunflower seeds ordered from a specific online store. They are having another round ending on April 1st. Wouldn't that be sad if they got a proper ending because all their fans supported the show and we didn't because we didn't speak up. It may be possible if we can get enough people. I have no idea on how to create a web site or anything like that, does anyone have the knowledge and time to work on a "savethedeadzone" web site? We can post our campaign info, item we will send, and date along with links to other dead zone fan sites so all theDZ fans can get to the site. If we can get enough maybe we can get a proper ending too. We've really got to work on it now or we will get nothing!

Here's what we need:
1 person to lead this thing-
a "savethedeadzone" website-other than the forum
a target date for the campaign
a decision on what item to send
a petition on the web site that we can sign
address and name of the USA exec to send the item to posted on the web site

AND TONS of fans to support this effort and speak up. Remember it took 50,000 bags of peanuts to get Jerico back, it may take a lot of support to get DZ a proper ending but if we loyal fans work together we can do it. We just need to do it NOW.....


you know, I was thinking about the post I wrote about sending the bible earlier, although I still don't know how I'd feel about sending a copy of the bible, it would definitely get us attention, maybe we could write a note with it saying "please do not dispose of, donate to local church or charity', so they know we care about and respect the bible. just a thought, maybe the a copy of the johnny picture would work.

So is there a website up yet? This is prally one of the most dissappointing things ive heard in a while. they cancelled 2 great shows, but to me this one is the best out the two.

Okay. It seems like we know what we need to do. We just need someone to be our leader. I am not good at computer stuff but does it cost money to put up a web site? If so I would be willing to pay. But we need a leader. One of you guys or girls are good at computers. Would one of you please become our leader so we can get this thing going? We need to start now. Well it looks like no one wants to lead this thing. If someone knows how to put up a web site let me know and I will do it. I will try everything that needs to be done but I will need some help. I just know someone out there is better at this than I am. I do not even know how to send the hand. Please someone help us. I think everyone is just waiting for someone else to do it. But we can wait no longer. It will be too late if we wait much longer. So if no one wants the job then tell me how to do it. Please.

Technically challenged fans can click on the JOIN OUR GROUP link and sign up at yahoogroups. It's an easy way, I've found, to communicate with people via email lists.

You can also spread the url around everywhere - myspace, facebook, craigslist, etc. The site will be updated with more information very soon, but that's what I was able to get up last night.

I will be happy to spread the link around to any relevant forums I visit. Just FTR, Bjossi http://www.thedeadzonetv.com/ had proposed a save DZ campaign last fall and very few people were on board. He created the first official fan made website for the series and has been fairly active even since. I would like to see something come of this effort but I'm not sure the fanbase is large or active enough.

Here's hoping. I'm afraid I don't have access to a printer so the picture idea doesn't work for me personally. Still thinking of a viable alternative here....

I apologize. I hope to have time this weekend to really put more work into the site with more information. I share concerns that the fan base is too small for this show (which I find odd... but I wonder if some of that had to do with the fact the show was, for a long time, hard to FIND to even watch).

I'm not trying to push anything on anyone, but I think it would be great if someone added something to the savethedeadzone site. Not trying to sound mean, but it is a little bare bones. I'm not sure how to, but I figure that someone on here knows how.
