With the end of the season approaching fast, the fact that we will be going through Psych withdrawal looms ominously on the horizon... but we can fix that! In anticipation for the travesty that is off-season programming, I issue a challenge to all the Psych fans out there:

It is simple - Select an episode name and synopsis that you like best from the Title Description Game thread and start writing a fanfic around the idea to post in response to this topic. Pretty soon, if all you crazy pineapple heads are game, we'll have enough Psych goodness to last all the way to season 3!

Anybody thinking of taking up this awesome responsibility? I am. LOL.

(P.S. Make sure you credit the user who thought up your episode idea when you post it.)

This is a really good idea! I'm not the best at writing fanfic but I'll be the first to read them!

You don't have to be best writers grammatically and such. It's your creativity people will enjoy.

I Spy Something Furry: Part 1
A bigfoot-like creature is suspectly murdered a scientist but, was it a former colleague of the scientist. Shawn's on the case. (PsyfanPineapplejuice made the title, BubbaBridges made the description)

Yellow Stone Park
A big hairy beast of a man was running through the forrest. He couldn't stop or he would fall into the hands of the man trying to catch him. Then he tripped, and a bullet was shot into his neck. By his fellow worker.

Jules packed her bags. Socks, Shirts, pants sunglasses, the works. The best time of the year had come for her! VACATION! And best of all she was going to beatuful Yellow Stone.

She took a plane. It left right on time. She was reading one of her romace novels when she was shuved forward. Someone had kicked the back of her chair. She turned around and was about to yell at the guy, it was her vacation and this was a bad way to begin, but she didn't yell! It was Shawn and Gus!

"Oh sorry Jules," Shawn said smiling.
"What are you doing here?"
"We are going to Yellow Stone!"
"WHY?"
"We'd miss you too much," Shawn said.
Gus napped snorring a little beside Shawn.
"No really!" Jules snapped.
"I told you."
"Yeah well, I better not get me into a mess on MY vacation..." she grumbled.

(Ok so I'm gonna wait to write the second one. Mainly cause I don't have enought time to finish it. Sorry that its not that good.)

I Spy Something Furry Part 2

Shawn and Gus decided to go to there hotel by foot. It was only a few miles from the airport if they took a short cut. The short cut went through the woods.

"I'm telling you man! Jupitor has to be real!" Gus protested.

"No way dude, they said it was gas, I'm sticking with the scientists!" Shawn argued.

"No way-holy crap Shawn! It's a dead bigfoot!"

And indeed it was. A large beast with thick brown fur was laying on the groud.
Shawn leaned down took look at it. He took out his phone and took pictures for evidence.
"Gus...I think it was murdered!"
"What? How do you know?"
Shawn pointed to a small puncter wound in the beasts neck.
"Call Jules. Tell her to come meet us." Shawn said as he pulled something from the dead creatures fingers.
It was a badge with a small clip on it. On the card was 11059A77JF9.
"Weird." Shawn thought. Under the letters and numbers was YELLOW STONE RESEARCH CLINIC.

"Gus...this isn't a bigfoot. Its a scientist!" He shouted to Gus, who was on the phone.

(Once again I apologize for it being so bad. I just wanted to try my hand at it.)

I Spy Something Furry Part 3

Shawn and gus decided not to wait for Jules, they went to the Yellow Stone Research Clinic on their own. They took a cab, it took them 20 minutes to get there.

"All right Gus you make a distraction," Shawn said as they walked into the clinic.

"What should I do?" Gus snapped.
Shawn thought for a minute and then pushed gus into a cart filled with tubes.
Every one in the room got up to see if he was allright. Shawn quickly went down a long passage way. He twisted and turned swveral times before he got to a room. On the door it said "DR.HOBBS & DR.GOODLES (The nam Dr.Goodles was smaller) HAIR RESEARCH.

Before Shawn entered he heard a voice in the room.

"Yes. It is all taken care of. This shall be no problem. And the money. Good."
Shawn heard a cell phone close, then entered.
"Good day sir, who are you?" the man asked.
"The names William. William Depp." Shawn lied. "And who are you?"
"I am Dr. Goodle. What can I help you with?"
"I am interested in buying some of your-my god! what is that?" Shawn pointed to a cage with a snake in it.
The man laughed. "That is my Incredibly Deadly Viper! Though the name is faulse. It's harmless!" (Little lemony snicket nod there.)
Shawn wasn't sure about it being harmless. Shawn had always hated Snakes.
Suddenly Shawn glanced at a folder on a table. A sheet of paper was sticking out. He saw a small picture of a tube and 77JF9. He knew that from some where...had he saw it on the plane.
Shawn then knew what he had to do to figure out who killed the "bigfoot."
He had to leave.But first there was one final question he had to ask.
"One more thing Dr. Goodles. Where is Dr. Hobbs?"
"Funny you should ask that. I'm not sure. He's been missing for a few days now."
"Sorry, I'm afriad I have to go Doctor."

Shawn knew one thing. The bigfoot was Dr. Hobbs. And Shawn was confident Dr. Goodles killed his partner, for money, but know he had to prove it.

(I just re-read the discription BubbaBridges gave and it turns out I wrote a wrong story! The bigfoot is dead when he should really be alive. Opps! )

I Spy Something Furry Part 4

The next morning Shawn stepped out of a dark green jeep. He had green socks that went up to his knee's and a big hat on. He was dressed as a park ranger!
He walked into his and Gus's hotel and went to Gus's room, which was across from his.
"Holy crap Shawn! You can't do this! You could go to jail." Gus snapped.
"For dressing as a park ranger..." Shawn found the idea silly.
"Yes Shawn. It's happened before, it could happen again."
"Really Gus? Anyway I think I know who did it, I just need some information on snakes. I think I can get into some secret base for park rangers and learn about snakes-" Shawn began.
Gus interupted Shawn by throwing a book at him.
"What the hell dude?" Shawn said rubbing his head.
"Shawn, its a book about snakes. You don't hav to impersonate a park ranger..."
"Why do you have a book about snakes?"
Gus slamed the door shut.

Shawn went into his room across from Gus's and looked in the book until he saw the snake that was in the doctors office.
"Crap, Goodle lied to me! That snake is one of the most deadly in the world" Shawn said to himself.
Now he had to put everthing together.


Shawn thought a bit and called Gus and Jules. They all went to the clinic and arrested Dr. Goodle. Jules carried hand cuffs with her, even on vacation.

"Why do you have hand cuffs with you, on vacation?" Gus asked.

Jules didn't say anything.

"How'd you know?" the doctor asked.

"Easy!" Shawn smiled. "Dr. Hobbs figured out a way to grow hair. An accident happened and he turned really hairy. But that didn't have anything to do with it. You wanted to be the one who made the discovery. So you shot him, with a dart filled with snake venom. I say the dart and the code from his badge on you desk. I also heard you talking on the phone."

Dr. Goodle cursed at Shawn.
"Good job Shawn," Jules said as she lead the doctor out.
"Who did you know that Shawn?" Gus asked.
"Some of it was geussing."
"You geussed?" Gus yelled.
"Come on Gus, let's go get ice cream!"
"Ice cream? Shawn I wanna know. How did you know how Dr. Hobbs found that? Shawn there's a lot thats not adding up..."

(finally its done! Sorry the ending wasn't the best. It was a little corny.)

That was good. I actually had a dream recently where Shawn was dressed as a park ranger, so reading that made me laugh.

I remember I started writing my own fanscript when I was bored one day. Maybe I'll work in it some more. *browses through the Title Description Topic*

Yeah, I did say it before. It made me laugh that someone actually worked it into a fanfic because it is such a funny visual to have floating around in your head.
I'm thinking I may try to write one of these. I love to write but I'm too chicken to post it!

I figure, because a select few already know the juicy details, I'll share the tantalizing news. My theatre group and I have decided to tackle fan-made webisodes of Psych starring all of us nutballs as the cast. When we are done, everybody here will be the first to know and the first to see it. Well, some folks here are already reading bits of the script. Everyone else must suffer in anticipation! MUAHAHAHA. LOL

we may not need to tide ourselves over if they move psych to nbc like i've heard...it's supposed to start in march so that will definately last till june or july {pls be june!!!}
