Full Version: Why are the Divas getting assaulted by men?

Hey guys, it's time for something that has been on my heart:

Now, for many years, we've seen male on female violence in Professional Wrestling, but ever since the summer of 2007, Spike TV the company that was once The New TNN and which is owned by Viacom came to an agreement with TNA Management saying that there would be 0 tolerance on Male on Female Violence.

and that was when Jeff Jarrett came to Eric Young's Aide and assaulted Traci w/a Guitar which lid a fire under Spike TV.

But now, what about the WWE?

Well for years, the WWE has had its share of male on female violence as of late and if you look @ the list of people who have been victumized by this, you will know.

Vince McMahon and the WWE has taken part of all of the nonsense and chaos of male on female violence:

Women like Nidia, Trish Stratus, Stacy Keibler, Torrie Wilson, Lita, Victoria and even Ring Announcer Lilian Garcia as well as Valets like Candice Michelle and Maria have all had their shares of be physically assualted by male wrestlers.

Nidia has had her shares of assaults from people like Jamie Noble, Billy Kidman and Tajiri.

Trish Stratus has been physically assaulted by the likes of Chris Jericho, Christian, Triple H, Randy Orton, Viscera and the Rated-R Superstar Edge.

Stacy Keibler has also had her share of being assaulted by the likes of Test, Chris Jericho, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Scott Steiner and even Randy Orton.

Torrie Wilson has also had her share of that, too from the likes of Carlito, Jamie Noble and even Matt Hardy.

Lita has also had her share of physical assaults from the likes of Matt Hardy, Ric Flair, Triple H, John Cena and Edge.

Victoria has also had her share of assaults from the likes of Test, Carlito and Ric Flair.

Candice Michelle has also been assaulted by Cade & Murdoch, but thankfully, Candice was saved by Jeff Hardy.

Maria has also felt victum to Umaga when Eric Bischoff was forced to make Maria wrestle Umaga.

and yes, even RAW Ring Announcer Lilian Garcia was also jumped by Rosey and Umaga thanks to Howard Finkel as well as being assaulted by Viscera (Big Daddy V).

and so, my question to you all is this:

Should the WWE BAN Male on Female Violence?

That's the Question!

I say yes, WWE should BAN all of this, and I say that it is TIME for NBC-Universal (the parent company of USA & Sci-Fi) as well as CBS and Warner Bros. (the parent companies of CW) to tell WWE ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

So guys, please share your thoughts on all of this, b/c THIS is RIDICULOUS!

No. Its part of storylines. Its supposed to make those guys look like jackasses and the guys who "save" the women look like the hero. Its just another way to put someone over. Should they tone it down? Yeah. Should they stop it completely? No. Its apart of wrestling and it helps advance the storyline. Its not even true violence. Its them putting wrestling moves on a women. There not beating them senseless.
babaganoosh
Why do we care when it's fake?

But I mean this goes both ways. How many times have guys been low-blowed by women? How many times has that actually affected the outcome of a match and as opposed to women getting beat in just a segment? If men and women are not allowed to get involved with one another in wrestling, then why have valets or mixed matches? It's a part of wrestling, deal with it.
tnalockdownfan
Well I won't deal with it.

I'm sorry if I brought this up.

It's no wonder I haven't been here all day yesterday.

I know it's your opinion, and that's why I made that General Wrestling Debate Section for both of you.

Excuse me, but I'm going to leave this site just for today, but I will be back tomorrow.

But for now, I'm gonna get ready for the Super Bowl.

Oh and Slash and babaganoosh, the reason why I don't like to debate is b/c I don't feel like arguing or fighting on this site.

and also, I'm pulling for the Patriots tonight.

I'll check you guys later.

Why? Because we disagree with you. I believe that its a part of wrestling and its fake.

Thats crap that you say "What do you guys think" and we tell you what we think and you get all offended or you get pissy and leave. Its like, why have a board when you can't discuss anything. Its called the RAW DISCUSSION board.

Adios, and see you tomorrow.

Well then don't ask us what we think. If you don't want to debate then don't listen to our replies and just make up more threads about shoot interviews from three years ago.

So am i.

Hi Bubba here, I get what you saying tnalockdownfan, and I kinda agree. I'm not watching the Superbowl tonight.
Spykat
Well, I am against male on female violence, wrestling and otherwise.
I think it sends a bad message.

When its fake? If kids grow up not knowing that beating on women is bad then they either see their parents do it or the parents are moronic. Its fake and most kids know that its wrong to attack someone. They see that they are doing wrestling moves on them. Now if it was in a real life scenario then i can see where people are so uptight.

You're right. F*ck Star Wars. They promote interracial violence. Leave Chewy alone!

I'm glad that somebody agrees with me on that.

I agree, I mean when RAW aired on TSN in Toronto @ the time, I read that TSN had to block male on female violence.

For Example:

When RAW was LIVE in Toronto and Trish Stratus was saying bad things about Lita which I found outrageous when it came to talking about female stuff, Kane came out and Trish was on her knees begging, and then, when Kane chokeslammed her, they blocked it in Toronto as they did Torrie Wilson getting a backcracker on Carlito and Maria getting pummeled by Umaga.

I guess Toronto has their strict policies.

Well let me say this w/o getting offended, I know that it's all storylined and everything, but I do agree w/spykat:

I believe that they're sending the wrong message to people and I think that they should tone it down some.

and that's my opinion.

Well @ least I'm not offended and everything.

Oh, and Slash, the Patriots lost and the New York Giants Won.
