Everyone.... may I introduce to you my sister her hubby and my two gorgeous nieces. rolleyes.gif
The rest of the pics are all Holland. The one with the buildings is Rotterdam.... they are redoing the staion and the square in front of it, the place is best to be avoided, well I do not really like the city itself that much but the sunlight and blue clouds made me take the picture of the buildings.

I have to say TJara, that was a great show. I could see the progress your dog was making with each video...how long does it take to train a dog to do that? It looked like he almost took you out at one point! Lol...you must have the cardio of a swimmer...(I could never do that without coughing up a lung, and crumpling to the floor!)

Ktjeinuk...may I call you cloggs, Because I had to scroll down like five times just to spell that! Your pictures are fantastic! I can smell the fresh grass and horses , and I love the reflections on the buildings with the pop of color at the bottom...their great shots..

It took about a year until he knew how to do all of the obstacles correctly. We started classes in late August '06 and our first trial was at the beginning of July '07. Though it's not a fair assessment, as in the beginning I had a LOT to learn, too. An experienced trainer can work better from the start, however, some obstacles like the teeter and the weave poles still take lots of practice. And, I'd say a dog is never finished, there's always things to improve or to work on. It's animals, not a machine, and I'm human, I make mistakes. Lots of them *LOL*

And believe me, running for around 40 seconds at a time does not improve my shape as much as I would want it to. And you don't want to hear me wheeze after a run *LOL*
But it's tons of fun, and that's what's most important.

Love your beach picture!!! I can also sit there and watch the waves roll in for hours, people watching is great at the beach too!!!

Now, about the name....... one of my best friends nicknamed me cloggy/cloggs. I was given the nickname because I am officially a Dutchie and in Holland they have....... yep, you guessed it cheese and windmills AND cloggs (among other things). Since Windmilly or Cheesy did not really sound right I became Cloggy. It's quite handy as when we are out and about she just has to call me Cloggy and I know immediately that she is talking to me. smile.gif Mystery solved!!

Well, sometimes things are just what they seem! My log in name here is ktjeinuk - for which the ktj is really "little Karin" (which is me!) and "inuk" is sort of self explanatory. smile.gif I've lived in th UK for the past 6 years though but my family still lives in Holland and I go over to see them a few times a year.
Well, they do do clog dancing in Holland. See: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x_JFE6VRCqE . I never joined in though. I did try wearing some wooden clogs once when I was a kid but they really hurt my feet blink.gif so I never really wore them after that.

That's very interesting to know, my screen name here is a take on Mr. MacPhisto, the onstage personality Bono took during the ZOOTV tour. Being the big U2 fan, I used to have a blog with the name Ms. Macphisto's Discotheque (I haven't used it in years, thinking of getting rid of it). When I joined this board, I chose the name I have now, I was going to use Ms. instead of Lady but Lady sounded much cooler, lol biggrin.gif Little did I know that the spelling I used is the same used for Mephistopheles from Faust. I guess it turned out ok in the end since that's where Bono got the idea for the name smile.gif

I would love to run into Stephen King as well. I love his work. I have been into his writing since I was 12. Yes, 12...even the more gruesome stuff, which seemed better than real life at times. I think I have double copies of everything he has ever written. One in hardcover and one in softcover. The softcovers I read, the others I collect...including a couple that are first editions. I bet he would be interesting to hang out & chat with. I once saw an interview on a book program on tv (can't remember the name of the channel, but they do book reviews and author interviews and that's about it). It was Stephen, Tabitha and their son, whose name skips my mind at the moment. It was really interesting. They each read from a book/story they had written and then talked with the audience.

I love your name Kayne. I think it's beautiful and different. The only reason I think of that other guy-wont mention his name don't want to make you sad again-is because your first names contain the same letters.

Cabot Cove!!!! (I didn't even have to google it-the name popped into my head) That's where Jessica lives. Kayne's right-GTSara-don't go there. You'll never get out alive.

The first Stephen King book I read was "Christine". I liked it but I have to admit some of his books I have no clue what is going on. lol

We were on vacation about 10 years ago up in the White Mountains of NH at a place called "Six Gun City" (boriiiiiiiing)
Anyway, my husband sees this guy that he's sure is Stephen King. Really did look like him. We kept seeing him all over the park. Finally my husband went up and asked if he was SK. He said no but he was often mistaken for him. Once even by someone who actually knew SK.

Only because this is the post your picture thread here is my buddy Rigs after his bath today. He looks to be deep in thought but being as he's a shih tzu-i doubt it laugh.gif

And me at (where else/) the beach . it was very hazy and humid that day. These two girls are the daughters of a friend of mine. I told them to stand in front of me for the pic. No one wants to see me in a bathing suit believe me. tongue.gif
