Full Version: Pineapple Sighting Question

I've started viewing recorded episodes of the show to look for the pineapple references in them. Does anyone know where the pineapple reference is in the "Weekend Warriors" episode from season 1? I'm wondering if it has something to do with the beverages that Shawn & Gus are drinking during their picnic at the reenactment at the beginning of the show. Has anyone figured this out, or does anyone have any good guesses? Thanks.

The pineapple site gag doesn't appear in every episode. I don't remember seeing it in Weekend Warriors.

Hi Bubba here, I don't remember seeing it either.

Wow, I just watched that episode yesterday and I am trying to remember seeing any but nothing is coming to me either.

I know at the beginning Shawn was drinking Snapple. Is there such thing as pineapple Snapple?

Could be!

I'm not sure if it is a pineapple snapple. I drink peach snapple all the time and the label looked exactly the same. I'm having the problem of finding the pineapple in the "The Spelling Bee". Is it on one of the mother's dresses?

does anyone know where it is in 0 to murder in 60 seconds??? i'm sooooooooo bad at this game haha

I just watched Spellingg Bee and Weekend Warriors and I didn't see anything. (except maybe the snapple thing), and in Spellingg Bee there was a women in the background wearing what I think was bananas on her shirt. blink.gif But i'll have to watch Zero to Murder in 60 Seconds again!

Please forgive my ignorance, but what is the deal with pineapples in the show? (pausing for laughter)..... Is one of the writers obsessed with the fruit or what?

Confused,

well as you may or may not know...some of psych is ad-lib on james's part so on the pilot he sees the pineapple and says should i slice this up for the road andthe writers just ran with it...every show needs its hook =D

actually I was watching the commentary and they said it was when Sawn and Henry was talking at night maybe about the doghouse not for sure. But they said he was eating a slice of a pineapple.

ok so the snapple in weekend warriors is almost definately pineapple snapple... if any of you guys have the dvd of the first season, you can try and zoom in on it, you get to see it the best when gus tells shawn that "muscum" was a very popular name back in the day...

and question, did anyone notice the drawing behind shawn and gus when they are talking about the c-4 in the watch guy's little back room thingy? cause im fairly certain that it's a pic of lassie in his civil war uniform...

Just for everyone's etification, (cause as a civil war era buff, this is just one of many asinine things I know) but the cast may be pronouncing it 'Muscum' but the name is actually 'Mascomb'. Although unlike Gus points out, it was never quite common.... just back then you wouldn't get stuffed into your locker for having it as a title. LOL.

And, I'll check out my DVD and see if I can catch it. smile.gif
