I, vestokes, am a JD-ahoic. I realized I had a problem while watching BN Pilot epi. This is approximately the moment in the epi that I realized I was smitten:

I still had some control but I completely lost it after this:

I know I'm not alone. There are a number of you out there that feel my pain. When JD as Weston bemoans his blight we can't help but empathize:

Some of you knew him from TE fame. I discovered that later. JD as Creegan was hotter than hot:

So, why don't you confess when it was that you fell for the boy. I know I've seen all his performances with exception of the two movies that aren't on DVD. I know I'm not alone.
Bubba_Bridges
Hi Bubba here, I didn't fall for him like you girls did. wink.gif But I started to like him in his current role on Burn Notice. I have seen him in a few things but, really didn't like him until now. He's a great actor and I wish him all the best.
ladeeDi
It all started on a Thursday night...

Right here is where I knew exactly where I'd be every Thursday night...

Here is where I began to fall, ever so lightly as a slow crescendo was building inside me...

Here is where my imagination was awoken and I knew my dreams would be an adventure each night...

And here is where I knew it was too late for me, and I was a goner...

Yes, I too am a JD-aholic, I confess

I've once again found my Heathcliffe
my passion
my inspiration
my muse to otherworldly places
my silent lucidity...

Sorry, I can't upload the pic, but for me, as if you HAD to ask this question and to all of you who are all "Newbies" considering, I had seen him back in 1997, Pretender, Dragon House Parts 1 and 2. Kyle, Pyschopathic killer brother to Jarod (played by the actor michael t weiss). But I actually had seen him prior to that in a play in New York, just didn't know who he was as he was a stage actor before being on the soap Another World, I didn't watch that, I was a die hard General Hospital fan circa 1977.

Whatever happens with the show I wish all the actors luck and continued success. It was a great show and hopefully will continue after the strike. If not, I know everyone will continue onward and we'll all be following along for the ride.

AND, He is so FRIGGIN' Adorably, HUGGABLY SQEEZEABLE!!! And yes, sometimes you have to let go, otherwise you'd be escorted to a waiting cop car thinking you're "a little psycho"......
vestokes
Tonight, I'm so gonna watch another BN epi that I haven't seen for a while, Identity. I loved how awkward Micheal was with his Mom's friend but respectful and touched by her injuries. I was truly head over heels after seeing Identity.

There's an epidemic. Last night I loaded the DVD combo tape player with TE and BN and switched them back and forth until I fell asleep. I just don't act like this -- I'm searching WebMD with my symptoms.

I just happened to turn the TV away from sports one Saturday and fell into a marathon. I cleared my calendar for Sept. 13, I think it was, just to stay home all day and tape the episodes I didn't have. I haven't had such a crush since I first saw George Strait in concert.

Now, it's like meeting a guy, having a wonderful time and then sitting, waiting for him to call. I hate it!
Gals, what are we going to do with this????

By the way, when I get REALLY desperate, I watch this clip from (yuk) Witchblade, just for the JD kiss. It's the Witchblade 2 video:

I don't have that one. Or any of the others. To take a very INFAMOUS LINE OF A SONG by a bunch of guys back in the 1980's and I have used the line on their site as well, They can't just leave us "HANGING ON A HEARTBEAT", here. Ok, they have but it ain't fair. sad.gif

I, NatashaFatale, admit that I am also a JD-aholic. I, too, was completely smitten with at all the above-mentioned moments from the pilot episode.

not to mention how incredibly sweet he was with that little boy...
"you really want me to shoot someone don't you?" and "Are you crying? Looks like you're crying... don't cry..." and the awesome bully psychology lesson.

Hey, I'm Jenna, and am undeniably, irrefutably, incontestably a JDaholic. And, in the words of the great Ray Charles...I Don't Need NO Doctor! I am truly Addicted to Love, JD love that is. The Fever began like a Heat Wave one evening during Summertime. I was feeling Lowdown and had spent much Wasted Time while Holding Out For a Hero. A TV hero, that is. In the first ten minutes of the pilot episode of Burn Notice, I had a Total Eclipse of the Heart. Whoa, thought I...This House is on Fire!!! That was the Night I Fell in Love. There was no Lookin' Back. Minute By Minute it got Harder to Breathe. I had Fallen and fallen hard. At Last, here was a Smooth Operator who was also a Sweet Talkin' Guy. JD...When You're Smiling or When I Look in Your Eyes, all I can see is a Hunka Hunka Burnin' Love. The Way You Move sends A Rush of Blood to the Head. It's hard not to lose one's Self Control, but I'll Survive. I Can See Clearly Now that I've Got You Under My Skin. Isn't it Ironic that Late in the Evening that Thursday night I came to know This Crazy Little Thing Called Love? What a Difference a Day Made!! You've got me on your Wavelength, oh Baby, Baby. Some may say I have a Disease or Vertigo, but I don't need anyone to come to my Emotional Rescue. You Oughta Know that I Have a Crush on You. A genuine Love Hangover that I don't wanna get over.... tongue.gif

I loved that scene too. Just because the pyscho part brought Jeff Full circle from 1997. Everything he does is Adorable. Just watching him do nothing is adorable.

Why didn't I find this thread earlier!?

I'll be honest..... he had me at "This is what I'm about. Power suit, power tie, power stare." and "Oh, yeah." in Hitch. Now, I know he's plays a jerk in that movie, but c'mon! That was hot. And the scene where he's leaning into the bulls bottom! Hilarious! I'm a sucker for a man in a suit.

And what really sealed the deal was the elevator scene in BN. However, the tight black shirt in Broken Rules about knocked me off the couch. I had to watch that scene over, and over and over.

Totally agree! Can we get some re-runs or something!!!!!???!!!!! I'm going through withdrawl. I need a fix. I need butt-kicking, bug-making, yogurt-eating, and most importantly shirtless, Michael Westen.

USA, if you're listening (reading?), PLEASE give us re-runs or a marathon. If you decide to run a marathon during the week, let me know. I'll need to take a vacation day.

While I am not a JD-aholic, I can understand the addiction. And, I think the JD-aholics around here are pretty cool, so I might attend a meeting or two.

Let's see, he did have a guest role in my favorite television show of all time (sorry, not BN, but it is in the top 5)... So I can appreciate the man.

However, I do believe I'm addicted to vestokes' captioned photos... smile.gif
