Just wanted to let everyone know about the songs on Burn Notice.
95% of them are from a library of songs that we use from a company called "True Music." They're great guys and great musicians - they get all kinds of artists and record original songs. That's why you can't find them anywhere.
We are working on making all of that music available for download - soon, I hope. I will let you know as soon as it happens. The soundtrack music, too, although that's a different set of issues, as it's all composed for the show.

Matt, if it's possible to request, one song I'd love to see on a BN soundtrack would be the techno piece played in Loose Ends when Michael is running the ten-minute mile+ to meet up with Cowan in time. Loved it! Thanks...

Anyone know the song played in The Old friends episode (with the assassin trying to kill mike) when mike and his brother enter the club and try to hassle the bartender. Its drum n bass style.
Also, the hip hop song played when mike attends the party with all the models n pimps.

I figured that song that I have been searching for MONTHS for was by one of those groups that make music for trailers, etc., kind of like Immediate Music and such and that was why I couldn't find it. Matt, you have no idea how happy I would be if you worked to get that one song used in the finale and all the promos (NOT connected) with the bass-line. You know the one everyone everywhere on the internet insists is by Goldfrapp! It has recently begun popping up on Charter communications commercials and America's Next Top Model ads... oh so aggravating! Must have it!

I agree. That is my favorite piece of music from the show. Its like a combination of funk and techno and it so cool. (like the show)

So far, the only three people I've narrowed the theme down are John Dickson, Kevin Bassinson (Those two were music producers and editors of Burn Notice) And Kurt Farquhar who seems to own True Music,

I know it's not Goldfrapp -strict machine everyone said that; BUT the EwanPearsonInstrumentalRemix - StrictMachine is a very close copy... until someone realeases the real thing... it comes awfully close and is good. Peace! Love all the music they play....

There was a song for one of the trailers that goes "tick, tick, tick" and then there is an explosion. Does anyone know what song it is? I think it was also on the "Sex and the City" movie trailer. Thanks.
I haven't seen any news on the soundtrack yet - i think the BN soundtrack page is being fixed - maybe truemusic.com is updating their site.

Does anyone know who sings the following song? It's from the beginning of season 1, episode 10 False Flag. Part of the lyrics go "I wanna be your only gilr, you and me against the world."
I just wanted to say that I'm addicted to the song ""Dejame Tocar" I downloaded it from iTunes a few weeks ago and it's #1 in my "25 most played" list! Love the song! I'm going to probably buy the whole soundtrack in the next few weeks off of iTunes, love it!
