I don't know if it was written here, but the girl in tonight's episode is Kerry Washington and I guess her and Dulé once dated in real life??? Is that true? Also, I read that the anticipation between anything serious happening between Sean and Jules shouldn't be too big. I guess, things will go pretty slow between them considering the finale "kiss".

That sucks about Shawn and Jules, I want them to be together . But I am so PSYCHED!!!! (if you'll excuse the pun lol). I can't believe it's tonight! I'm so happy I'm about to cry!

That was SO FUNNY!!!!!!! I love how Jules and Lassie are fighting the whole time over their det scores and then it turns out Shawn beat them both when he was 15!!! And THEN he solves the case they were working on the whole time!!

I love that Shawn out scored Lassy and Jules. He's brillant lol. This episode...it was worth the wait. I was really antsy, good treat after a painful first week back from break lol.

*Are the psychouts giving anyone else trouble on the website?

I like that line. It really shows how close Shawn and Gus are. I don't really get why they wouldn't give him a gun. He's probably a better shot than any of them.

That episode was amazing. It was like all the aspects I love about Psych culminated into one giant pile of win. I love how the humor wasn't centered over Shawn pretending to be a psychic--that's when the humor is at its best. It's the other things, like the clever lines, ridiculous situations and unpredictable turns that make the show worth coming back to, and Mira seemed to have all of that at full force.

Here's hoping the rest of Season 2.5 can deliver as well as this one.

I have to say I kind of enjoyed seeing Shawn a little fired up about Gus not telling him he was married. I love them to pieces, but I've always wanted to see them argue a bit.

OHH that was such a funny scene. My husband tuned in at about that time and started cracking up--I think I've finally turned him into a Psych fan

In the beginning when Jules takes down the culprit they were chasing...awesome!

Another great episode of Psych and I can't say I have seen an episode that disapointed me. It feels so good to have something to watch on friday nights again.

Loved it! That was one of the best Psych eps imo, I was laughing the whole time.

Did any of the "older" fans notice Mira's mother is one of the girls from Tony Orlando & Dawn? Nice to see her again!

I wish I could get mine to watch it, no luck yet. I thought it was great too but I was watching it in between dealing with my 2 kids so I missed a couple of things. I DVR'd it so I'll watch it again on Monday when they are at school. I noticed Thelma Hopkins(I think that's her name) right away. She was great. The girl that played Mira was a tad annoying but I think that she was supposed to be. Otherwise I thought it was an awesome episode. It went by too quick though. My 6 year old son sat with me for the second half of the show and thank goodness there was nothing inappropriate going on. He LOVED the Little Shawn and Gus cartoons. He cracked up a lot at it. Oh well, next Friday can't come soon enough.

"It's not too hot for me." right after Lassiter drinks the insanely hot coffee. lol

I remember thinking, "if these cases aren't connected McNab should so been the one to make the guy tell them why he took the truck, not Lassy or Jules." lmao I mean think about it, that would've killed them both inside.

But I was wondering if anyone caught the pineapple reference in this episode? I THOUGHT I saw one on the table at Mira's wedding, but I couldn't decided if it was or wasn't (it was tall and jagged green like the top of a pineapple).

Yeah. I have to say. I loveddd the Lassy and Jules competition. I thought it was cute. This episode was just wonderful lol.

And yes, I'm pretty sure there was a pineapple in the wedding scene. I think Shawn was going to grab it, but had to run after Gus.

I recognized Thelma Hopkins. I loved her in Bosom Buddies(yes, the same series that introduced Tom Hanks to the world.), and I loved her in Family Matters. It is great to see her! I thought she was hilarious; especially when she told Shawn that she liked her men: white and hairy! Or how about one of Mira's boyfriends refered to themself as Gay Andy? Jules and Lassiter competition was great on who is the better detective and then they both get upset when Shawn reveals that he scored a 100 percent at age fifteen. In the foreign pilot version, the other detective wondered why Shawn didn't become a person who wasn't running IBM; for which, he replied, "Why would I want to do that?" It proves that he is smart; but he values fun more than anything.

This episode also shows how Shawn values his friendship with Gus.
"Can I have a gun?"
"No!"
"Gus is not answering his phone. Can I have a gun?"
"No!"
"Then drive faster that is my best friend we are talking about."
Shawn even made Gus a hero when in fact that was not the case.
"I think I tripped over Mira."
"Yeah, but let's keep that to ourselves."

As you might well expect a new season brings new observations from snozberries... I remembered last season you asked me to post in the criticism section.... seems odd since my observations are episode specific not general but whatever...

Last night Jules got some stuff right so that made me happy and I am wondering since Lassie got all his codes wrong if they did it on purpose?

It was nice to see Shawn worry about Gus since Shawn acts like Gus was placed on this earth for his own amusement...

Their chemistry is getting stronger too.... they have finally found a rhythm I like. As a writer I can appreciate the dialogue
As I said before I don't hate the show or anything I just take the law enforcement errors as a personal affront but the rest of it is entertaining. . .

Just one quick Q.... When Lassie questioned Jules about speaking Spanish he commented that Santa Barbara doesn't have a large Hispanic population....how did everyone read the look the two exchanged after he said that?

hi everyone first post but I'm a HUGE psych fan! Been watching since day one. I watch episodes over and over again. I loved this episode one of my favorites so far. I hope we get to see more of there characters explored. Getting to see gus's past is awesome. I really hope we get to see shawn's mom and gus's rumored brother.

Oh the pineapple was in the wedding scene. right by henry. shawn did look like he was gonna grab it then went after gus.

Did anyone else notice Shawn said "let's hit it" ? thats what henry has said numerous times too shawn.

I also like that shawn and henry seem to be getting along great. lol, Especially loved the awkward hug in the christmas episode.

I did notice the weird reaction of jules and lassy after lassy said that.

I was trying to read that reaction because there is a large latino population here so I was wondering if they exchanged the look as a
1) yeah right? sarcastic kind of thing
2) we both know Lassie's lying kind of thing
3) the city it self is based on latino culture? most of the street names, building names are spanish names

but the look they exchanged just seemed off to me..... I don't know just wondered how people outside of CA read the look?

Hilarious episode! I'm so glad Psych is back!!! I thought it was funny how Shawn kept intentionally mispronouncing Jan's name. I thought it would have been funny though, since it was supposed to be "Yan", Shawn could have said "Yawn" everytime, and of course yawned and everyone else around him would yawn too. It does get contagious! Or maybe that's because I'm tired?!?

I was wondering if anyone knew the winery they shot this recent episode at. There is a shot of Mira and Gus (after the groom doesn't show) while they are walking together, and you can see the ocean behind them, that looks exactly like the same place Nate and Brenda got married on Six Feet Under. It is so pretty and I want to go there myself!

This episode was great!!! So many great lines and comedic timing. My favorite parts of this episode were when they were at the batting cages (loved that backwards helmet, I believe someone else already said they loved it too), when they played golf (haha their outfits), Shawn building the little house out of cork, and when Shawn kept calling the guy by the wrong name. I've sincerely missed Psych!!!
