It is frustrating. sad.gif

Honestly, waiting for the DVD sets is going to be the best idea to see all the episodes.

I was lucky enough to start watching JAG in its 8th season so they were rapidly playing all the episodes on USA and not killing them off.

Trust me, the DVD sets will be less frustrating.

They're leaving out the last two shows from Year 2 today (Cowboys and Cossacks; Rendezvous), and moving straight on to Year 3 (Friday: Ghost Ship). But I've seen these two missing ones a couple of times already, so it's not as if they always suppress the same ones. Two very recent episodes - Force Recon (Tuesday) and Code Blue (Wednesday) - I'd never seen before. I don't know whether they were skipped last time or I just missed them (I didn't start recording all shows on TiVo until somewhere around Year 4 on the last run-through).

I now think that they must purposely skip a coupe episodes in almost every season each time they show the series in order to get people to order the DVDs when they come out. I suppose that's clever future marketing even though it's annoying to us. At least some of time they don't skip the same episodes on every run-through, so in time over the long stretch you can see all or most of them.
