Macho Man has wrestled in the WWE, WCW and has also made appearances in TNA

Macho Man has held the WWE I-C Heavyweight Title and his most memorable match for the I-C Belt was against Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat.

1 year after he lost the I-C Gold to Steamboat, he went on to win the WWE World Heavyweight Title

He won the belt twice @ Wrestlemania

@ Wrestlemania IV he won a tourament to become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, he went on to hold the belt for 1 year, but a year later @ Wrestlemania V, he lost the belt to Hulk Hogan, but 3 years later @ Wrestlemania VIII, he went on to def. Ric Flair to become a 2x WWE World Heavyweight Champion, he would soon lose the belt to Flair who later lost it to Bret Hart in October 1992.

On January 11, 1993 Monday Night RAW was born and Savage became a color commentator, but @ Wrestlemania X, he made his final Wrestlemania appearance when he gave a congratulating hug to Bret Hart.

In 1994, Savage left the WWE b/c he said that he was not happy with being used as an announcer in the WWE, but in December of 1994, Savage signed with Ted Turner's WCW and he would go on to become a 4x WCW World Heavyweight Champion, he left the company in 1999, but made 1 final appearance in WCW in 2000 on an episode of Thunder on TBS Superstation just days prior to Slamboree 2000.

While working for WCW, Savage also did voiceovers in the Cartoon Network Series "Dial M for Monkey"

In 2004, Savage returned to the ring, only this time in TNA, he made an appearance in the very 1st TNA PPV, Victory Road '04 and he also wrestled @ the very 1st Turning Point PPV teaming up with Jeff Hardy and AJ Styles against The Outsiders (Hall & Nash) and Jeff Jarrett.

Today, Savage is still active, but is doing other projects as well.

Savage was once married to Miss Elizabeth back in 1988, long before the infamous Wedding Disasters in Pro Wrestling.

But in 1992, both Savage and Liz filed for divorce, but they would soon reunite in the WCW in 1996.

In 2003, Elizabeth died in Lex Luger's home of Atlanta, GA, but Savage sent his deepest condolenses to the family of Miss Elizabeth.

Savage has also became a favorite among many wrestlers including Trish Stratus, Mickie James and Jay Lethal.
